[Written] Yugioh Set: Nature's Fury!

This is a yugioh set I came up with, a neat way to tie a bunch of legacy support I made for a bunch of different archetypes, and also as a neat sequel to the original set I came up with, "Royal Destruction". It's a set that would bring together legacy support for a bunch of archetypes that need it, along with a bunch of reprints ( rarity bumps mainly ) that make your deck with mostly commons a lot shinier, with just enough ocg imports. 

 

Any kind of review, either of the set or of the individual cards, is always greatly appreciated!

Obelisk the Tormentor

Level 10 / Divine / Divine-Beast / Effect

4000 attack / 4000 defense

 

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps, or card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY. You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.

 

Slifer the Sky Dragon

Level 10 / Divine / Divine-Beast / Effect

Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY. Gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each card in your hand. If a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your opponent's field in Attack Position: That monster(s) loses 2000 ATK, then if its ATK has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it.

 

The Winged Dragon of Ra

Level 10 / Divine / Divine-Beast / Effect

Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, other cards and effects cannot be activated. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can pay LP so that you only have 100 left; this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the amount of LP paid. You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target.

 

The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode

Level 10 / Divine / Divine-Beast / Effect

Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes from either side of the field to Normal Summon to that side of the field (cannot be Normal Set), then shift control to this card's owner during the End Phase of the next turn. Cannot attack. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or by card effects. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, it's ATK/DEF become 4000.

 

The Winged Dragon of Ra - Immortal Phoenix

Level 10 / Divine / Divine-Beast / Effect

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If "The Winged Dragon of Ra" is sent from the field to your GY while this card is in your hand or GY: Special Summon this card. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. This card is unaffected by other cards' effects. You can pay 1000 LP; send 1 monster on the field to the GY. Once per turn, during the End Phase: Send this card to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode" from your hand, Deck, or GY, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

 

Ra’s Disciple

When this card is Summoned: you can Special Summon up to 2 “Ra’s Disciple” from your hand, Deck, or GY. Cannot be Tributed, except for the Tribute Summon of “Slifer the Sky Dragon”, “Obelisk the Tormentor”, or “The Winged Dragon of Ra”. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except by the effect of “Ra’s Disciple”.

 

Mound of the Bound Creator

Spell - Field

 

Level 10 or higher monsters on the field cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects If a Level 10 or higher monster on the field destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: The player who controlled the destroyed monster takes 1000 damage. When this card on the field is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: you can add 1 DIVINE monster from your Deck to your hand.

 

The True Name

Spell - Normal

 

Declare 1 card name: excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is the declared card, add it to your hand, then you can add to your hand or Special Summon 1 DIVINE monster from your Deck. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. You can only activate 1 “The True Name” per turn.

If this card is Summoned: you can Special Summon up to 2 “Ra’s True Disciple” from your hand, Deck, GY, and/or banished cards. You can only use this effect of “Ra’s True Disciple” once per turn. If your opponent activates a card or effect while this card is in your GY and you control a “The Winged Dragon of Ra”: you can banish this card from your GY; your LP become 8000. You cannot Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn you use any of these effects.

 

Slifer’s True Disciple

If this card is in your hand: you can reveal 1 DIVINE monster in your hand; Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Summoned: you can Special Summon up to 2 “Slifer’s True Disciple” from your hand, Deck, GY, and/or banished cards. You can only use this effect of “Slifer’s True Disciple” once per turn. If an “Slifer the Sky Dragon” monster you control would activate it’s effect to decrease a monster’s attack points: you can banish this card from your GY; reduce that monster’s attack points by an additional 2000. You cannot Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn you use any of these effects.

 

Obelisk’s True Disciple

If this card is in your hand: you can reveal 1 DIVINE monster in your hand; Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Summoned: you can Special Summon up to 2 “Obelisk’s True Disciple” from your hand, Deck, GY, and/or banished cards. You can only use this effect of “Obelisk’s True Disciple” once per turn. If an “Obelisk the Tormentor” monster you control would activate it’s effect by tributing monsters you control, you can banish this monster from your GY for both of those tributes instead. You cannot Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn you use any of these effects.

 

Slifer the Sky Dragon - Sphere Mode

When this card is activated: you can add 1 DIVINE monster or 1 LIGHT Fairy “Disciple” monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Great Pyramids of the Egyptian Gods” once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck during the turn you use this effect. During your Main Phase you can Normal Summon 1 Divine type monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set each turn ( You can only gain this effect twice per turn ).

 

Great Shifts of the Egyptian Gods

Spell - Continuous

 

You can only control 1 “Great Shifts of the Egyptian Gods”. The following monsters with these original names gain these effects while on the field.

  • “Obelisk the Tormentor”: Once per turn: you can Special Summon 2 “Divine Servant Tokens” (LIGHT/Fairy/Level 1/0 ATK/0 DEF) to your field in Defense Position.

  • “The Winged Dragon of Ra”: Each time you pay LP: you can gain LP equal to half of the amount you paid. Each time your opponent Summons a monster(s), gain 1000 LP.

  • “Slifer the Sky Dragon”: Each time your opponent Summons a monster(s), you can draw 1 card.

 

Great Decrees of the Egyptian Gods

Trap - Continuous

 

DIVINE monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponent’s card effects, also they cannot be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. Your opponent cannot use DIVINE monsters they control as Link Material, also those monsters cannot be Tributed. You can target 3 DIVINE monsters and/or LIGHT Fairy “Disciple” monsters that are either banished and/or are in your GY; shuffle all of them into the Deck, and if you do, draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of “Great Decrees of the Egyptian Gods” once per turn.

 

Archeological Discoveries of the Egyptian Gods

Spell - Normal

 

Send 1 DIVINE monster from your Deck to your GY; Add 1 “Egyptian God” Spell/Trap card, 1 “Mound of the Bound Creator”, or 1 “True Name” from your Deck to your hand, except “Archeological Discoveries of the Egyptian Gods”. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; look at the top 5 cards of your Deck (or your entire Deck, if less than 5), and arrange them in any order. You can only use each effect of “Archeological Discoveries of the Egyptian Gods” once per turn.

 

Mystic Powers of the Egyptian Gods

Spell - Normal

 

Reveal 1 DIVINE monster in your hand, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 DIVINE monster in your GY or banished cards; add it to your hand, then immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon that monster from your hand without Tributing, ignoring it’s Summoning Conditions. You can only use each effect of “Mystic Powers of the Egyptian Gods” once per turn.

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 “Mayakashi” monster this is either banished or in your GY; Special Summon both it and 1 “Mayakashi” monster from your Deck, and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro monster using only those 2 monsters. You can only use this effect of “Yuki-Onago, the Ice Mayakashi” once per turn.

During your opponent’s turn: You can Special Summon any number of “Mayakashi” monsters with different names from your GY and/or banished cards to your zones this card points to. Mayakashi Ages

Spell - Normal

 

Target 5 “Mayakashi” cards that are banished and/or are in your GY; shuffle all of them into the Deck, then draw 2 cards. If you controlled no cards, except this card, when you activated this card, you can draw 3 cards instead. During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 “Mayakashi” monster in your GY; Special Summon it. The monster Summoned by this effect gains 500 ATK and DEF while it is face-up on the field. You can only use each effect of “Mayakashi Ages” once per turn.

For the rest of the turn after this effect resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except “Prank-Kids” monsters. You can only activate 1 “Prank-Kids Shenanigans” per turn.

 

Prank-Kids Quick Plan

Trap - Normal

 

Target 1 “Prank-Kids” monster in your GY; Special Summon it, and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, you can Link Summon 1 “Prank-Kids” Link monster by using monsters you control as Link Material. When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: You can banish this card from your GY; shuffle any number of “Prank-Kids” cards from your GY into your Deck, and if you do, that attacking monster loses 100 ATK for each card shuffled, until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of “Prank-Kids Quick Plan” once per turn.

You can only use each effect of “Priestess of Nephthys” once per turn.

 

Nephthys Temple

Spell - Field

 

The effects of “Nephthys” Monsters and FIRE Monsters that activate in your GY either during the next standby phase after being destroyed by a card effect, or during your next standby phase after being destroyed by a card effect can be activated immediately after being destroyed instead. Once during each turn, if the effect of a “Nephthys” Monster you control would destroy a card in your hand for it’s effect, you can destroy a card you control or you can destroy 1 “Nephthys” card from your Deck instead.

 

Nephthys Rites

Spell - Normal

 

Add 1 “Nephthys” Spell/Trap card from your Deck or GY to your hand, except “Nephthys Rites”. If the card added to your hand by this effect is a Ritual Spell card, you can also add 1 “Nephthys” Ritual Monster from your Deck or GY to your hand. If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to your GY: You can set this card from your GY to your field. You can only use each effect of “Nephthys Rites” once per turn.

 

Nephthys Onslaught

Trap - Counter

 

When a card or effect is activated, or exactly 1 Monster would be Summoned while you control a “Nephthys” monster: that effect becomes “Your opponent destroys 1 card from their hand or field”. If a “Nephthys” card(s) in your possession is destroyed and sent to your GY while this card is in your GY: You can set this card from your GY to your field, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use each effect of “Nephthys Onslaught” once per turn.

You can only use each effect of “F.A. Auto Engineer” once per turn.

 

F.A. Divine Dragster

Level 12 / Light / Machine / Synchro / Effect

Gains ATK equal to its Level x 300. Once per turn, during either players turn, if a Monster(s) would be Summoned, or a card or effect is activated that Summons a Monster(s): You can reduce this card’s Level by 3, and if you do, negate the activation or Summon, then destroy those card(s). If this card is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 “F.A.” Monster from your GY, except “F.A. Divine Dragster”, then you can add 1 of your banished “F.A.” cards to your hand. You can only use this effect of “F.A.” Divine Dragster” once per turn.

 

F.A. Ignition

Spell - Continuous

 

Your opponent cannot target other “F.A.” cards you control with card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of “F.A. Ignition” once per turn.

  • During your Main Phase: you can target 1 other face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “F.A.” Monster from your Deck.

  • If this face-up card on the field is destroyed and sent to the GY: you can add this card from your GY to your hand.

 

F.A. Off Road Drifting

Spell - Continuous

 

The Synchro Summons of “F.A.” Synchro Monsters cannot be negated. If you would Xyz Summon or Synchro Summon a Monster by using “F.A.” Monsters you control whose Levels are different from their original Levels, you can treat those Monsters as any Level from their current Level to their original Level for that Summon. If the Monster Summoned is an “F.A.” Monster, increase it’s Level by the total difference of the Levels of the “F.A.” Monsters used for it’s Summon ( The difference between their current Level on the field and their original Level ).

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 “Vendread” Monster from your Deck in defense position, except “Vendread Origin”, also you cannot Summon any Link Monsters for the rest of this turn, except Zombie Monsters. A “Vendread” Monster that was Ritual Summoned using this card on the field gains the following effect. You can only use each of the preceding effects of “Vendread Origin” once per turn.

  • When this monster battles, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the damage step.

  • Your opponent cannot destroy this card with card effects.

 

Vendread Battler

If this card is in your hand or GY: You can send 1 “Vendread” card from your hand, field, or GY, except “Vendread Battler”; Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. A “Vendread” Monster that was Ritual Summoned using this card on the field gains the following effect. You can only use each of the preceding effects of “Vendread Battler” once per turn.

  • Once per turn, during either players turn when a card or effect is activated: You can negate the activation.

 

Advendread Boss

Link 3 / Dark / Zombie / Link / Effect

Cannot be used as Link Material. During your Main Phase: You can send 2 “Vendread” Monsters with different names from your Deck to your GY, except Ritual Monsters; Special Summon 1 “Vendread” Ritual Monster from your Deck or GY, ignoring it’s Summoning Conditions ( This is treated as a Ritual Summon ). The Monster Summoned by this effect gains any effects given to Ritual Monsters by the effects of the Monsters sent to the GY to activate this effect. You can only use this effect of “Advendread Boss” once per turn.

 

Vendread Virus

Spell - Continuous

 

If you would Ritual Summon a “Vendread” Monster by using a “Vendread” Ritual Spell, you can shuffle the required Ritual Materials from your GY and/or banished cards into your Deck for that Ritual Summon. You can only use this effect of “Vendread Virus” once per turn. If a “Vendread” Monster would give a Ritual Monster an effect when used on the field for a Ritual Summon, it can give that effect even if it was not used on the field for a Ritual Summon.

 

Vendread Onslaught

Spell - Ritual

 

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any “Vendread” Ritual Monster from your hand or GY. You must also tribute Monsters from your hand or field, or banish Zombie Monsters from your GY whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Monster you want to Ritual Summon. If a “Vendread Chimera” or “Vendread Battlelord” you control would be destroyed (either by battle or card effect) while this card is in your GY, you can banish this card from your GY instead.

When this card attacks, switch it’s original ATK and DEF until the end of the damage step. You can only use each of the following effects of “Old Timey Locomotive” once per turn.

  • If “Revolving Switchyard” in your Field Spell Zone: You can Special Summon this card from your hand.

  • If this card is sent to the GY: You can send 1 EARTH Machine Monster from your Deck to your GY, except “Old Timey Locomotive”.

 

Passenger Car

Level 4 / Earth / Machine / Effect

1800 attack / 1000 defense

 

You can only use each of the following effects of “Passenger Car” once per turn. If this card is in your hand: You can discard this card; add 1 “Revolving Switchyard” from your Deck or GY to your hand. If an EARTH Machine Monster is Summoned to your field while this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon this card from your GY, then you can make this card’s Level become 10 until the end of the turn. When Summoned this way it cannot be used as Link Material, except for the Summon of an EARTH Machine monster.

You cannot Special Summon Link monsters for the rest of the turn after this effect resolves, except Zombie Link monsters. You can only use this effect of “Wightguard” once per turn.

If this card is Link Summoned: you can send 1 Zombie monster from your Deck to your GY whose Level is less than or equal to the total number of “Skull Servants” in your GY. During your Main Phase: You can return any number of your banished Zombie monsters to your GY. This must include at least 1 “Wight” monster or “Skull Servant” monster.

You can only use each effect of “Wight Rush” once per turn.
