  1. 1. Who's (and by that I mean Flip Monster) next? (and by that I mean to gain a superpowered version.)

    • Lady Assailant of Flames
      1
    • Armed Ninja
      1
    • Fiber Jar
      2

By popular demand (AKA three votes on the Astringent Mystic's page and one on the corresponding status): I present to you, the amalgamation of life's three certainties:

  1. death
  2. taxes (how do you think he acquired those golden robes? Through financial jihad.),
  3. and hatred of Yu-Gi-Oh! backrow.

[spoiler=Reaper of the Decks: Info]

DARK/Fiend-Type Effect Monster/Level 8/2580/3030 DEF

Lore: (Quick Effect): You can reveal this card from your hand, then target 2 or 4 Set cards on the field; your opponent can banish twice as many Traps from their Deck as targeted cards, face-down, to make this effect become "each player must discard all "Reaper of the Decks" from their hand", otherwise destroy those targets, then Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card for every 2 of your cards destroyed this way. When this card attacks: You can target 1 Trap that is face-up on the field or in the GY: Special Summon it to its owner's field as a Normal Monster (Fiend/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

Well, Paleozoics and ChainBurnMarkII.dek could get past this, probably, but the cost of doing so on Turn 1 (or 0, if you're facing them and going second with this in hand will likely deprive them of needed resources (and follicles.)

And with the ability to reincarnate your Traps as vanillas-and thus, favor yet another of the common elements of my Panik support, vanilla Fiend protection-you can rest easy knowing your Links are that much easier to make and your board is that much harder to break now.

The true power of one of the original Flip Monsters is now yours in augmented form. And if you wish to see the same for the last holdout from Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the poll awaits atop the screen again. Will the Flip monster I fortify next Monday be that elusive LOBE monster, Armed Ninja? Will the Lady Assailant of Flames receive her second spark in the ashes? Or will the Forbidden-status Fiber Jar flourish in the BlaDeS of Change Workshop's tender care?

Enjoy, and until the next card, reviews, revelry, you know the drill.

BD'S, signing off.

Holy moly ain't this card a crazy crazy boi. The fact that there's no specific requirement on this dude makes it a pretty good generic card, even more against decks that don't run traps, though banishing twice as much trap cards seems a like bit overkill and nobody will want to banish 4, 6 or 8 cards from their deck face-down since that is such a massive disadvantage that yeah, this is a pretty strong boi

This I can agree with unless you run Exodia (which thinning your deck by 8 cards isn't going to hinder your strategy) but other than that, this could hurt something like Uria as it does depend on those traps for both a summoning condition and power.
