Trump Suggests That American-Born Congresswomen Go Back To Their Own Country

Well, Trump went full mask off and suggested that a group of progressive congresswomen "go back to their corrupt countries" (of which only one, Omar, was not born in the United States).

I think this kinda shows that, well it really doesn't matter where you were born really in the eyes of the ol' trumpeter.

What really matters is the color of your skin and whether you're kissin' his boots or not, if not then you'll be lumped in with the other people who "don't belong".

Hold on.

That still doesn't address Omar being the only one not American-born. If he lumped a large group together and referred to them as a group with a descriptor that doesn't apply to the majority, that's still funking wrong, from a purely semantic sense.

I'm not saying it's "mask off", whatever that's supposed to mean, but call a duck a duck, and this duck funked up hard.

He didn't "funk up". It was a blatantly racist attack against the Congresswomen, one that the majority of the House condemned. Though, naturally, the GOP was more offended by hearing Trump actually be called racist than they were by the racism itself. Can't say I'm too surprised.

For Winter to claim that it was a "mistake" to rescue Omar, then act as if her country of origin alone means Trump was not wrong, despite it only applying to one out of four Congresswomen, shows the hoops conservatives will jump through to justify Trump's attacks.

Well from the moderate democrats going against those 4, ... I shall not describe further, they are forced to "support" them, these 4 are forced into the focus and the moderates are unable to "get rid of them".

The whole point was that they now have to back those 4 and that is not exactly in the interest of the moderates ... or the whole party, with the upcoming election.

How the means to get there are considered is up to debate, the intention behind them is very clear.

Any support from moderate Democrats is best taken with a huge grain of salt after Pelosi also attacked these congresswomen. Trump is encouraging racism as he always does, and taking advantage of Pelosi's attacks, so now the moderate Democrats are attempting (and failing) to balance both pretending to defend the Justice Democrats against Trump, while still enabling their own criticisms.

Apparently Marco Rubio has been shared a video deliberately edited to defame Ilhan Omar.

Incidentally, a pro-Trump Republican and QAnon conspiracy theorist who was running to unseat Omar has been arrested twice and charged with a felony for stealing from stores.

In lighter news, Ilhan Omar was indeed sent back home... to Minneapolis.
