Blue/Red-Eyes Support (Written)

I am back all. I was reading some of the cards in the Fusion monster thread, and couldn't help but come back and make some more support cards for these archetypes. They aren't fusions though, just so you know. So say hello to two more cards! With a side of Red-Eyes this time!

1. Blue Eyes Flash Dragon

Link 2 Light Dragon type effect monster

2 "Blue-Eyes" monsters

Arrows: DL,DR

2800 ATK

Effect: When this card is link summoned, destroy cards your opponent controls whose ATK is less than or equal to this card's ATK. This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card points to a "Blue Eyes" monster, it cannot be targeted for attacks, or by card effects. If this card is destroyed by battle or monster effect,Destroy the monster that destroyed it, and special summon the monsters used to summon this card.
2. Red-Eyes Flash Dragon

Link 2 Dark Dragon type effect monster

2 or more Red-Eyes monsters

Arrows: DL,DR

2400 ATK

Effect: When this card is link summoned, destroy cards your opponent controls, up to the number of "Red-Eyes" cards used to summon this card. This card can attack your opponent directly. While this card points to a "Red-Eyes" monster, it cannot be targeted for attacks or by card effects. If this card is destroyed by battle or monster effect, destroy the monster that destroyed it, and special summon as many "Red-Eyes" monsters from your hand, or Graveyard as the number of monsters used to summon this card.

Both cards seem reasonable, though I'm personally kinda curious on the flavor.  The first effect of the B-E monster seems like something B-E would do, but the targeting protection, direct attack and 2800 ATK seem... out of place.  It honestly feels a bit more like the flavor for a Toon monster than B-E, if I'm gonna be honest.

The R-E card is similar, but trades in the potential field wipe of the B-E for more versatility, allowing you to destroy stronger monsters or backrow.  Admittedly, while the rest of the effects felt "out-of-place" with the B-E card, it does feel more justified for R-E because of the variety of different play styles of the deck.  That said, 2400 ATK seems a bit high since R-E has more spam/recovery potential than B-E and they actually have low-level monsters you could use for a Link Summon.

All that said, both cards are solid additions for their respective decks.
