A LINK-5 Link Monster that focuses on destroying cards. When Link Summoned, you get to destroy monsters your opponent controls up to the number of monsters it points to, so you can strategically place it so it points to your opponent's monsters or your own to take advantage of the second effect, which activates whenever your opponent activates a card or effect in response to your monster effect, meaning you can destroy your own monster to negate that effect. Lastly, to make your opponent use Spells/Traps less, each time they activate one, they take 500 damage. Also it has 3100 ATK because why not.

 

2+ monsters, except Normal Monsters

When this card is Link Summoned: You can destroy monsters your opponent controls up to the number of monsters this card points to. When your opponent activates a card or effect in response to your monster effect (Quick Effect): You can destroy 1 monster you control this card points to, then negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only use this effect of "Empathy Crusher" once per turn. Each time your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, inflict 500 damage to your opponent immediately after it resolves.

it's pretty fair, the amount of setup for its effects is more than enough to balance it

 

The only Link 4 I can think of worth using to make this card is Saryuja which isn't a bad idea as Saryuja isn't a monster you want to end on. If you summon it to EMZ you will only get 1 pop most likely so summoning in the MMZ is fair tradeoff for popping up to 3 monster, especially since the monsters have to already be on the field, excluding the ones used for this card's summon.

 

All in all, It's a very fair card with a decent effect all things considered
