#7136135 U.S. Government Set to Shutdown for Third Time This Year

Trump should just go full Andrew Jackson "Judge X made his ruling, now let him enforce it"

That's a terrible idea, Winter. It spits in the face of Checks and Balances, which is a key part of our Government. To suggest that Trump ignore that is to encourage a greater buildup of power in the Office of the President, and that would be a nasty precedent indeed.

Can you guys act like civilized people for a change? Demanding apologies is not what civilized people do. Furthermore, prematurely claiming victory without the report is idiotic at best, and that goes for both sides. Debate intelligently or leave.

"According to all the info availible to us right now,"

And this is why I'm telling you guys to wait. We don't have everything. It's okay to speculate, but don't consider your speculations as gospel as it is subject to a change in available information. That goes for everyone.

And to you suggesting the probe failed vlaine, you are missing the point entirely. The probe's purpose was to determine whether or not Russian intervention existed, and through who if it did exist. A determination of no doesn't not mean the probe failed, it just means that was it's conclusion. It shouldn't be called a witch hunt for this reason.

I mean that's pretty much the meaning of average. Would you like to know which states would have flipped in 2016 with 200K new voters?

If CNN is allowed, I don't see why Fox Shouldn't be

I said as well, not instead of. Please learn to read carefully. Also, just because something was allowed in the past doesn't mean it should continue to be allowed.

Anyway, about that source? That way, I read something without being subjected to an unwarranted meme.

Nice meme you have there, this isn't Misc. If you don't plan on intelligently adding something to this, then go away. Also, do you happen to have a non-partisan sources as well?

It's more like saying that we know we have a drug problem, and we know there is currently not really much to differentiate the current situation from past years. In other words, the assumed lull in immigration has no real grounds to stay the same, as we've seen with the caravans. a lull is the exception to the known rule, and does not signify a permanent drop.

I'm going to drop these articles here (charts are included) to help aid discussion. Feel free to draw conclusions from them.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 monster you control; gain Life Points equal to its ATK. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card, then target 1 monster; gain Life Points equal to its ATK.

Yea, it's a simple Life Point gaining card (LP and GY still don't feel right btw); however, the second effect could prove very useful in surviving an opponent's onslaught. I can only see this used in Casual play, but I just couldn't get the idea out of my head and the image fits well. I thought about having it set to Summon instead of Normal Summon, but I decided against it. Anyway, CnC?

#7130716 A Discussion on News Media and Professional Wrestling

Posted by Nathanael D. Striker on 04 December 2018 - 03:26 PM

One of the points that Eric Bischoff made is that news these days is designed to make people feel, not think. When people feel, they are less likely to realize they are being manipulated for one purpose or another: professional wrestling is a classic example, which is great considering who is presenting. TBH, I agree with Eric Bischoff based on my own observations on Facebook and considering my own experience with the news.

What do you think? Is News Media today taking pages out of the Professional Wrestling playbook as Eric Bischoff claims? Does feeling really hamper ones ability to think?

And turkey has no flavor and is only slightly less dry than the goddamn Sahara Desert. How do people eat that stuff every year?

Because whomever cooked the turkey you had cooked it wrong. Most people seem to mess up turkey.
