#7133712 [Striker] Invigorating Elf

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 monster you control; gain Life Points equal to its ATK. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card, then target 1 monster; gain Life Points equal to its ATK.

Yea, it's a simple Life Point gaining card (LP and GY still don't feel right btw); however, the second effect could prove very useful in surviving an opponent's onslaught. I can only see this used in Casual play, but I just couldn't get the idea out of my head and the image fits well. I thought about having it set to Summon instead of Normal Summon, but I decided against it. Anyway, CnC?

#7130716 A Discussion on News Media and Professional Wrestling

Posted by Nathanael D. Striker on 04 December 2018 - 03:26 PM

One of the points that Eric Bischoff made is that news these days is designed to make people feel, not think. When people feel, they are less likely to realize they are being manipulated for one purpose or another: professional wrestling is a classic example, which is great considering who is presenting. TBH, I agree with Eric Bischoff based on my own observations on Facebook and considering my own experience with the news.

What do you think? Is News Media today taking pages out of the Professional Wrestling playbook as Eric Bischoff claims? Does feeling really hamper ones ability to think?

And turkey has no flavor and is only slightly less dry than the goddamn Sahara Desert. How do people eat that stuff every year?

Because whomever cooked the turkey you had cooked it wrong. Most people seem to mess up turkey.

You are alright, and should eventually be promoted if an opening in TCG took place. Don't really interact with you though.

And shame that no one cares about this, but I should've expected this. #depression

Ah, it might not be an international thing. Gatorade is a sports drink that comes in an assortment of flavors, sold by the bottle or in these containers full of mix powder that you just add water to. I prefer the mix containers since you can make it by the gallon (~2 liters?)51cadVUBrbL._SY355_.jpg

A little under 4 liters, actually, since a liter is slightly larger than a quart and 4 quarts = 1 gallon.

#7125488 Right to Repair Expanded

Posted by Nathanael D. Striker on 26 October 2018 - 05:24 AM

In essence, this exception to Copyright Laws allows people to hack DRM in devices for the purpose of maintenance and repair, which further expands the exemption for tractors that happened a few years back. I'm curious how broad this change is and how people are going to take advantage of it.

Discuss this new development and the Right to Repair.

#7123154 California DMV has discovered it sent the Secretary of State’s Office 23,000...

Posted by Nathanael D. Striker on 14 October 2018 - 08:27 PM

...Such an unfortunate accident. Who could have possibly guessed that the state the gives illegal immigrants everything they need to vote, would accidentally give them the ability to vote./s
Seriously though, California's been on a pretty steady stream of screw ups as of late. The elected officials and state workers really ought to work on that soon, because it's not good for them, it's not good for the illegal (or legal) immigrants, and if left unchecked, will be absolutely terrible for the states as a whole.

"The DMV said none of the applicants were undocumented immigrants."

Seems like you didn't read carefully enough, so try again before you go on a rant.

As for the incident, technology doesn't give people an excuse to be reckless with what they are doing. The California DMV should have been more attentive instead of cutting corners.
