The amount of effort put into that is fucking glorious.

Hate to double post, but IT IS TIME
Brought this up after I saw a guy use it in D/D, because I didn't even realize that it existed. I was wondering when it could potentially be relevant, and that time could be now.
The lesser interaction is with Lilith, because it gives her an extra body to sack while maintaining her 2000 ATK, which does give it a potential edge over cards that similarly SS themselves. (you can also TGU into a 2k beater now?)
The more important one is with Afrima (henceforth doggo). If doggo tributes something other than itself, like Ghost, you get to search Diabolos... Who, unless I'm mistaken, benefits from the Stick/Chair ruling. This means that you can just turn Ghost into Diabolos from the deck, who can just sack doggo in order to fuck with your opp's hand. Probably a Main Phase 2 thing.
It's also a Crush Card target, if that's relevant.

When a card or effect is activated that targets an "Altergeist" monster(s) you control (except during the Damage Step): You can tribute this card; negate that effect, and if you do, banish that card. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Altergeist" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Altergeist Ifriwall" once per turn.
Link 1 (D)
1 "Altergeist" monster
You can tribute 1 "Altergeist" monster linked to this card; add 1 "Altergeist" card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 mosnter your opponent controls: Until the end of the turn, its effects are negated and its ATK becomes 0. You can only use each effect of "Altergeist Emparsa" once per turn.
Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Spellcaster/DARK/Level 5/ATK 1200/DEF 2500). (This card is also still a Trap.) If Summoned this way, each time your opponent activates a card or effect, inflict 500 damage to your opponent immediately after it resolves.
First up we have Ifriwall, which is a play on Ifrit + Firewall. Ifrits are often associated with being fire jinns/demons, so mixing it with Firewall seemed like the best way to go about a more defensive effect.
General design is meant to be a utility searcher for your traps, which is often more important than searching your monsters through Meluseek, with some added protective capability if you have Silqitous set up already. That said, I decided to not let it be a more general blanket protection/battle protection because the deck lacks anything of the sort, so being able to punch it seems like a fair design space to leave open, considering the deck should be stopping you if it's performing at its best, anyway.
Then there's Emparsa, which is Empusa + Parse. Described as a 1-legged phantasm that seduces men, this card does sacrifice its allies for advantage, and it's can't do much on its own as a Link 1 with 100 ATK... except, y'know, enable your float effects and fix your positioning.
It also drags an opponent's monster down to the grave with it, attempting to help the deck's weakness with big monsters. It doesn't fix the issue that is Borreload, but hey, it's fine to have some outs to a deck, and you still can force Borreload out with some effort.
Finally, Aggrabat is meant to be Aggravate + Agrat bat Mahlat. Not bat or acrobat, surprisingly.
This one is mostly just me wanting to make a trap monster. The burn can be annoying, but if it's coreographed via a search/Marionetter, it's not going to get the opp too hard. It's a nice ass, tho, and a decent target for Silqitous to bounce.
Overall, not meant to be too revolutionary, but a solid round of enablers and options.

I don't have an allergy too it but man, I straight up cannot eat soy sauce. For some reason that shit tastes like donkey butt.
Slightly off topic, but try different regions' versions.
For example, I cannot stand the Chinese take on soy sauce, but I love the Japanese take.

Outside of Nai, no-one is beating her
that isn't how this works tho
winning in swiss with abstain options =/= winning in the big picture
the Top Cut/Top 4/Finals are likely to draw members who hadn't looked since round 1 and encourage voting against a person you dislike more (by virtue of it determining the winner). People who previously abstained will most likely choose to vote when it comes down to the wire.
Hina could very well win, but her performance in swiss does not outright prove she will, even against someone she previously beat.

Oh my! After thirteen days, we have finally made it to the top cut! So, what were the results of swiss?
Here's the top 20! But, of course, we're not cutting to the top 20... But to the top 8! That means that Hina, Yui, Parenthesis, Shradow, mido9, Nai, Rodrigo, and Sleepy... congratulations!
Sorry, Dova, but you were edged out just barely, due to the number of votes you received minus the votes against you being a lower amount than Sleepy's.
And these are the matchups for this Top 8! They will be up shortly, and the Top 8 + Top 4 rounds will last 2 days a piece, while the final round will last 3. Get to voting!

yui likes the other avi better ;;
You're a great guy, and I wish you didn't have to wrestle with your issues like you do. I believe in you.
I would post my opinions, but I know they're not really that relevant since I'm still pretty unknown, so instead...
You do it!
you're a slut
You're growing to be one of my better friends, nowadays. Joining RP again really helped me open up.
thats the nicest thing u have ever said to me
Slight change to earlier: I actually really appreciate when you post seriously, because you know what you're talking about... and your statuses sometimes get a laugh out of me.
Giving pea-ple a chance?
I'll be honest, I see you and just am like "oh it's that dude."
You exist. You have a weird sense of humor. You like weird decks.
You're kinda weird.
'sticks her tongue out at all the peas present' Ews, I no like peas.
... I don't know how to say this.
I don't dislike you majorly or anything, but you, for some reason, get under my skin rather quickly. Part of that is due to your occasional obliviousness, but I think it's also due to how you carry yourself.
You're a really nice person. I don't think I've had a true negative experience with you.
But I tend to be someone who shares mutual friends with you, more than being friends outright.
its ya boi
you're not guzma
You exist, as well! You seem to be a positice influence on CC as a whole, and I appreciate the effort you seem to put in... Plus, I don't think I've ever heard a bad word about you.
Don't always agree with your opinions, but that's life.
>danganropa or whatever it was called, probably misspelled it
who the fuck are you
NGL, when I was new, I thought you were a fucking asshole. Even up to, like... 2015? Whenever you came back?
But I don't even remember why. Bree and I had this conversation, we both remember you being an ass, but now we're just like... "But we like them. Why did we dislike them?"
I think you're a well-mannered and intelligent person. Even when I disagree with somethign you say, I don't feel like it comes from you talking out of your ass.
I actually find you a bit amusing. I don't get the hate you receive, either. You might shitpost a little too hard, but it is a blatant shitposting, so I know to laugh.
Um... Similar to sleepy really.
