Interesting Pokemon Information

02 December 2017 - 02:38 PM

Is there any interesting/odd information about a species of Pokemon you enjoy seeing? How about Pokedex entries? Post them here and discuss your thoughts on other information other people post... Here's a few things I find interesting.

Until Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire came out, Groudon was the heaviest Pokemon according to the Pokedex, then after ORAS came out, Primal Groudon took that spot by 109.6 lbs (49.7kg)

HOWEVER once Sun & Moon came out, Primal Groudon was dethroned as the heaviest by 2 Pokemon... can you guess the 2?

Both of these Pokemon outweigh Primal Groudon by 0.4 lbs(0.2kg)

Also... do you know which primary body color has the most species of Pokemon? Blue Pokemon overrun all the other colors with 162 species of Pokemon having Blue as their primary body color!

The closest to having more Pokemon of the primary color? Brown has the 2nd most with 132... Although, after looking at the image posted below... some of these Pokemon's primary color being brown confuses me...

The Ravenous Wattle Gobbler [Happy Thanksgiving]

23 November 2017 - 09:34 PM

It's been quite some time since I made a card, but because it's Thanksgiving and I saw this creature... I figured why not? This monster is from the video game franchise Borderlands (Borderlands 2 Thanksgiving Headhunter DLC to be exact). The effect was something based on the fact while in game you're fighting this monster, miniature versions of itself come after you and prevent you from attacking the main beast itself.

Artists/Bands Who Have Changed Genre

23 November 2017 - 11:36 AM

Are there any artists or bands that have changed genres that in their previous genre you didn't listen to them but in their current one you listen to them or vice versa? Post them here! Here's a few examples

Taylor Swift

Started out as a country star, with her debut single Tim McGraw then made the successful jump to pop and is currently on a meteoric rise with her album redemption just dropping, her current single is ...Ready For It?

Aaron Lewis

Started out as the lead singer for the band Staind with their most popular song to date being It's Been Awhile, Lewis then made the jump as a solo artist to country music with one of his more popular songs being That Ain't Country.

Billy Gilman

Started out as a country singer at the age of of 12 with his only Top 20 hit One Voice, then after he came out as gay no country record labels would sign him. He then auditioned for season 11 of The Voice and came in 2nd Place, his current single as a pop artist is Get It Got It Good

Movie Fan Theories

20 November 2017 - 12:15 AM

We've all seen LOTS of fan theories by now of all kinds of movies... so what are your favorites? Here's 2 of my favorites

Tarzan is Anna and Elsa's Brother

In Frozen we learn that the King and Queen get shipwrecked and die at sea. But, this theory states that they didn’t die right away, they actually washed ashore in a jungle and survived longer than we thought. In the beginning of Tarzan, we see a burning ship on the shore, eventually resulting in Tarzan being left alone to be raised in the jungle. And if that’s not enough to make you believe in a connection, this theory actually got confirmation! The director of Frozen confirmed that this theory is actually true.

Luke Skywalker is evil in Star Wars The Last Jedi

This one is fairly recent but it makes sense... If you look at all the Star Wars theatrical posters, the villain is ALWAYS in the background in some way... here's a picture of all 7 main movie posters

mRaxwYS.jpg

In Episode 1, Darth Maul is the villain, in episodes 3-6 Darth Vader is, in episode 7 Kylo Ren is TECHNICALLY the main villain since we only saw Snoke in hologram form... so by this fan logic... Luke Skywalker is the main villain in The Last Jedi? Kinda nuts to think about that!
