The worst way to find out if you like a card game is to drop money on it and enter a tournament before you've ever played a game of it before. That's exactly what I did. I did some digging into the rules and meta before I played though. I'm not a total madman.

All in all I like the deck. Had fun playing though Dawnbringer and some enchantment that brought my creatures in tapped beat my ass pretty hard. Was my only loss of the day so ended up getting top 4. Pulled some Gideon planeswalker that the store owner bought from me so I'll use that store credit + the credit I won towards some more cards.
So it's been damn near a decade since I made cards on here. I used to be active here back in the day. I literally made Madolche and Gladiator Beasts before Konami did. Still waiting on my royalties.
So I made this archetype with Indonesian mythology half in my mind. Pembisilik is a play on "pembisik" which is literally "prompters" and Diminted is a play on "diminta" (prompted in indonesian) + demented. The effects are currently a little underwhelming cause I was making them on the fly haven't really put any thought into them. I'll be working on more cards though.
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Shuffle your Extra Deck, then send the top 3 cards of your Extra Deck to the GY, until the end of this turn, this card gains 500 ATK for each "Dimintid" monster sent to the GY this way. You can only activate the effect of "Poco, the Haunted Pembisilik" once per turn.
So this card is kind of based on the Pocong a ghost in Malaysian mythology. A ghost who has not been put to rest. The effect came from my friend who once complained that Burning Abyss asides from Graff, do not have their own main decked mill monster. So I made main decked Dante.
If you control a "Pembisilik" or "Dimintid" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can shuffle your Extra Deck, then send the top card of your Extra Deck to the GY. If this used for the Summon of a "Dimintid" monster: You can add 1 "Pembisilik" monster from your deck to your hand, except, "Kepu, the Singed Pembisilik". You can only activate each effect of "Kepu, the Singed Pembisilik" once per turn.
Name and lore wise he isn't based on anything. Kepu helps make board presence to be able to summon your Dimintid's and helps keep your advantage up when he leaves the board.
When you Summon a "Dimintid" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can shuffle your Extra Deck, then send the top 2 cards of your Extra Deck to the GY. You can only activate each effect of "Badai, the Storming Pembisilik" once per turn.
I named this card after the Indonesian word for hurricane. Similar to Kepu, just made to keep advantage flowing.
Name is combination of burung and badai. Meaning storm bird. Must first be Special Summoned (from your GY) by sending the above cards you control to the GY. This this card is Special Summoned using a WATER "Pembisilik" monster, you can trget one spell/trap card on the field; Destroy that target. Your opponent cannot activate cards of effects in response to this card's effect. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: shuffle it back into the Extra Deck.
Must first be Special Summoned (from your GY) by sending the above cards you control to the GY. (You do not use Polymerization). If this card is Special Summoned using a FIRE "Pembilisk" monster, it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase, and if it attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. This card gains 100 ATK for each "Pembilisk" in your GY and face-up on the field. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: shuffle it back into the Extra Deck.
Kebakrakaran is a play on "kebakaran" (fire!/interjection) and "kraken".
Must first be Special Summoned (from your GY) by sending the above cards you control to the GY.. (You do not use Polymerization). If this card is Special Summoned using a DARK Pembilisk" it is unaffected by your opponent's monster effects. This card gains 100 ATK for each Pembilisk in your GY and face-up on the field. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: shuffle it back into the Extra Deck.
Tournaments are fun and I wanna bring life to this dead ass section. I'll be hosting tournaments monthly hopefully. This tournament will be played using the TCG Advanced format ban list and TCG NA rules (fuck yo Denebs). The only limitation on deck building is obviously the ban list. You can play whatever whack shit you want. Games will be played on whichever platform both players agree on. If your game is played on Duelingbook and I am available at the time shoot me a message if you want your game judged.
Prizes are bragging rights and I'll get something made for your signature to show off your e peen. If this tournament goes well I will offer meta or highly sought after cards as prizes.

Amano-Iwato: Cannot be Special Summoned. Monsters cannot activate their effects, except Spirit monsters. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up this turn: Return this card to the hand.
This card is amazing. I actually wrote an article on this card and other normal summonable floodgates back in full power Spyral Format but I never got around to publishing it. Amano-Iwato protects me from getting hit with hand traps. If you wanted to Ash Blossom my Card of Demise well fuck u buddi. Amano-Iwato is also very handy at helping to break gross boards that Pendulum Magicians, ABCs, etc can toss out. Normal Summon him and I can freely summon my True Dracos and pop their monsters with my traps when they are tributed. He always comes back to the hand as an added funzo.
I'm playing him at 3 because I want to see him as much as possible and he is a great card for going second.
Inspector Boarder: Like Amano-Iwato except not as good going 2nd and pretty good going first because he stays on board. He's not as great against Pendulum Magicians due to them being able to summon out monsters very easily that enables them to activate their monster effects. Inspector Boarder is fine to drop on the field and pass vs ABCs. Also good vs Dinosaurs but they can sack with Giant Rex.
I only play 2 because I don't want to open him and Amano-Iwato at the same time and he is the lesser of the two.
Master Peace: To Tribute Summon this card face-up, you can Tribute Continuous Spell/Trap Card(s) you control, as well as monsters. Unaffected by the effects of cards with the same card type (Monster, Spell, and/or Trap) as the original card type of the cards Tributed for its Tribute Summon. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if you control this Tribute Summoned monster: You can banish 1 Continuous Spell/Trap Card from your Graveyard, then target 1 other card on the field; destroy it.
I only play two because honestly 3 is bricky. He's recyclable as well.
Anti-Spell Fragrance: Maining it because if I open it game one it's a game winner vs a lot of decks (this + Inspector Boarder is an instant win vs Pen Mags) It's not really a brick going second because I can just tribute them for my Dracos and if can get rid of Pen Mags Scales or they don't finish with full scales and opt to keep them in hand I can proceed to dick ball them on their next turn.
Ra - Sphere Mode: Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes from either side of the field to Normal Summon to that side of the field (cannot be Normal Set), then shift control to this card's owner during the End Phase of the next turn. Cannot attack. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or by card effects. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its ATK/DEF become 4000.
Side this going second verse a lot of decks. It does almost the same job Amano-Iwato even though it doesn't stop hand traps (most people side out hand traps going first anyways) Clears boards, gets passed that stupid Saryuja, Double Buster Dragon and negate loaded Gameciel boards that good ABCs players can make. Fuck that board. Not being able to Normal Summon is fine because I can just do it on my opponents turn haha xd.
I'll touch on more cards tomorrow maybe.
I'm contemplating on putting Forbidden Chalice in my side deck over the Strikes as well, because as fantastic as Amano-Iwato is if my opponent makes Abyss Dweller going first I cannot break their board with Amano-Iwato and my traps because of Dweller.
