Oh hey. I'm a 22 year old arabian college student who likes roguelikes, Steam, anime, Terraria, and long walks on the beach. You can find me on Discord on mido9#4536. You can PM me about anything you want to talk about or any steam game you want. See you.
Shard is cool
and banned! Hina is mean! Winter is funny!
Some past avatars below. You can take any you want or ask me to use any of them. I'm too lazy to add more.
Fads I want to remember:
Also awards and events I won:
Telltale Studios, the developers of the walking dead games, are shutting down, and have layed off 90% of their staff.

they're the ones that made a minecraft game with a fixed story, right? Terrible idea
Today, 09:50 AM
they should've had mundane matt write it

The idea was terrible, but Minecraft story mode was actually good. Not because of telltale, but because of Patton Oswalt

As a Brazilian I'm really thankful for that.

You know, one thing about hollow knight which makes it almost uniquely good is that exploring areas in it always gives something unique or impressive, you could find a huge monument like the cavern's heart of the king's seal or the white tree or the palace grounds or etc, or you could find a secret boss like nosk or an upgraded existing boss, or a unique charm with a unique effect, or a whole area or challenge like the hive or pantheons or the arena, or etc, most other metroidvanias other than SOTN which goes "lol 200.6% completion" or la mulana which reveals that all this time you've only explored half the areas are content just putting a heart container or missiles+2 for hidden secrets.

I just wish the DLC had involved more new exploration

Why is RS3 so much less popular than OSRS? There's objectively better graphics, better UI, better mechanics, much much MUCH more content(even looking at the smithing tree is wonderous), an actual combat system that's cool and fun, fast-travel so you don't go from the mines at varrock to the furnace at lumbridge and then back to the anvil at varrock, etc etc. Is the ENTIRE playerbase of ALL of runescape nostalgiawankers and people who joined them because they don't want to play in a ghost town without them?

Though there are also plenty who don't like how Jagex runs RS3 with MTX and stuff.

The MTX is a legitimate concern, and I'm certainly disappointed at seeing fewer quests, but I shit you not, several players bitched about the lodestones because it made the game "too easy". They get angry at just about ANY update possible. RS3 is a perfect example on a significant portion playerbase deciding "They changed it so it sucks." You can argue the merits of those claims, so I don't mean to dismiss every criticism all at once, but OSRS essentially became necessary to placate players who felt that the game had "jumped the shark".

Also, a lot of people hate the Sixth Age, which is intrinsically tied to RS3's identity. There's apparently a few leaks suggesting that a "RuneScape Remastered" is in development, though entirely divorced from either RS3 or OSRS. Keeping my expectations in check, but I hope it goes well.
Oh, and the "actual combat system that's cool and fun"? Yeah, the Evolution of Combat is *THE* greatest example of what players hated so much. They derisively call the game "WoWScape" just because of the EoC, as if skewing closer to a proven successful game designs was automatically a bad thing.

What kind of website or company calls itself FreeGame2017 and asks you to make a FreeGame2017 account, like do you not get how fishy that is
