Im EpicBoss99, and I make mostly Winged Beast-Type cards now. I used to make various Dragon and Thunder-Type cards, but I'm obsessed with the Lyrilusc Archetype now! You'll find me more on Duel Portal than YCM, but if you would like to duel or would like to just chat, feel free to give me a message! :)

Hello, Everyone! EpicBoss99 here. I've been watching some play-throughs of the game Undertale, and It has caused me to enjoy it so much to the point that I made some cards based on the game's most prized characters. Also, there might be spoilers to the game in these cards, so be cautious. Enjoy! :D

Okay, so I was checking out the Multiple Cards section, and I saw the 'Freak' Archetype made by you741, that really inspired me. I wanted to test my luck on this Mac version of Microsoft Paint called 'Paintbrush', and I think they came out ok. So, without further ado, the Surprise Archetype! (Please note that they're unfinished)
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. When your Opponent Activates a card effect that would cause you to send a card(s) from your hand to the Graveyard or banish a monster from your Graveyard, You can discard this card; negate the effect of that card, and if you do, destroy it.
(Okay, so this is basically the protector of the Surprise cards. He makes sure stuff like Dragged Down into the Grave doesn't make an impact on your strategy.
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. You can discard this card, then Target 1 Spell/Trap Card or 1 Level 5 or higher Monster; destroy it. You can only activate the effect of "Surprise Phoenix" Once per Turn.
(This card is pretty self-explanatory, It's the destroyer of the deck. Since you're not really doing anything to stop your opponent from doing stuff in this deck, I feel like this could be a good card to have when they have their giant boss monsters on the field or other annoying things that will get in your way.)
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. When you take Battle Damage from an attacking monster, you can discard this card, then return the attacking monster to the hand. You can only activate the effect of "Surprise Cannon" Once per Turn.
(This card punishes for attacking, so it'll make your opponent think twice about attacking.)
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. When your Opponent declares a direct attack, you can discard this card; negate the attack, and if you do, end the Battle Phase, then you can discard 1 other "Surprise" Monster to send the last monster that declared an attack to the graveyard.
(Swift Scarecrow as a Surprise Monster. I also wanted to give him an extra effect to fit him in with the other Surprise cards.)
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. When you discard a "Surprise" monster from your hand, you can discard this card, then inflict 1000 Damage to your opponent. You can only activate the effect of "Surprise Pyro" Once per Turn.
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards and your Life Points are lower than 4000. You can discard this card, then gain 1000 Life Points. You can only activate the effect of "Surprise Medic" Once per Turn.
You can only activate this effect when the only cards in your hand are "Surprise" cards. During either player's turn, can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 non-Xyz "Surprise" Monster in your Graveyard; this card gains the effect of the targeted monster until your End Phase. You can only activate the effect of "Surprise Dragon" Once per Turn.
3 Level 1 "Surprise" Monsters
You can only activate this effect when there are 15 or more "Surprise" Monsters in your Graveyard. You can detatch 1 XYZ Material from this card; add 1 "Surprise" Monster from your Graveyard to your hand. This card cannot be destroyed by battle.
You can only activate this card when there are no cards in your hand and on your side of the field. Add 1 "Surprise" Monster from your Deck to your hand and 1 additional "Surprise" Monster for each Special Summoned Monster your Opponent controls.

Okay, so I like the idea of support for Normal-Type monsters. However, there are a few things I think you should fix:
The OCG on the field spell may need a little bit of fixing. I'm not positive if this is right, but I think this is how it goes:
Normal-Type Monsters on either side of the field gain one of the following effects, based on their level:
1-3: They cannot be destroyed by battle.
4-6: They cannot be destroyed by card effects.
7-8: If the Monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.
Also, the effect on the field spell regarding level 7-8 monsters is a bit underpowered, especially when level 4-6 monsters can't be destroyed by card effects. Now, onto the monsters. For Falcon, 1700 atk is a bit too much for a level 3 monster. Even though "Jerry Beans Man" and "Hunter Dragon" exist, I still think it would be a good idea to reduce its atk by 50 or 100 just to make sure it can't be that much of an exploitable beater. For Cyborg, I would reduce his atk by a little bit as well, maybe about 200 or 250. This would make it a bit more balanced out.
Overall, you did a good job with this set. I can't wait to see what else you'll do with it! :)

Hey there EpicBoss, nice cards you've got there. I also liked Attack on Titan quite a bit. =)
The art design is quite nice and clear, although stretched. Might I suggest cropping the image to a more square shape first? I've had the same issue, so I usually use Photoshop, though Paint does the job too. :P
The cards are all pretty balanced, but the effects say: "Normal Summons or Special Summons a monster with 2000 or more ATK". I think you can shorten that by simply saying Summons.
Also, the effect monsters mention not being used for XYZ tributes except for a "Legion of Humanity" monster, but you don't seem to have added one yet. Are you planning to? :)
Also, what nukerwolf said. ^_^
Yes. I'm making that now. And also, the reason why it doesn't just say"Summon" is so that it's fair for people who Flip Summon stuff like "Shaddoll Beast".
And the Defender thing on the fusion was a typo when I changed my mind about something.

This is a pretty cool set of cards, sir. I myself am making a Attack on Titan themed Archtype at the moment. If you want to checkthat out, that's pretty swell.
For Levi, one of effects says;
Once per turn, when a trap card is activated when this monster is attacking, you may change the attack target to negate the trap card and destroy it.
It should say;
Once per turn, when a Trap Card is activated while this card is attacking, you may change the target of the attack to negate the effect of the Trap Card and destroy it.
You might want to also add the effects of the cards underneath each card so people can correct OCG more easily.
Will do. Thanks for the advice! :D
