I am the first person to officially beat netabig's Vanguard deck called "Royal Paladins" and only because I had a killing move with three backup killing moves. I would have lost the next turn.
I created the following archetypes:
CLASH - Centered around swapping cards for attacking and defending for field control
Brute - Centered around customization, spamming cards, and bringing out bosses for field control
LEGACY - Centered around moving things in and out of the banish zone
Wizard - Centered around using 3 monsters to bring out Xyz
WARP - Centered around contact fusion and quick buildup of forces
Kurafuto- Centered around crystal beast style movement around the Spell/Trap zone
CRAFT - Centered around keeping the grave empty to never run out of materials
Mythical - Centered around bringing out the 2 boss monsters to end the duel
Epic - Centered around monsters that loosely work together but depend of ultimate spells to win
Magma - Pyro-Type support
Quicken - Vess designed the cards, I just gave them images.

Yu-Gi-Oh, of course.
I'm pressed but not crushed.
Persecuted but not abandoned.
Struck down but not destroyed.
