I really like this!

I feel like it would definitely be good enough to push them into the competitive scene. Dark Magicians have some really nice support already and Dark Magician the Dragon Knight + Eternal Soul is a pretty powerful combination.

One of the big reasons that they're not competitive is because Timaeus isn't very searchable and it takes a while to get both cards on the field. And this card addresses that nicely, especially being a quick-play spell.

I think it's good the way it is, but if I could change something about it, it would be to let you SS Dark Magician from the hand. Also, a last optional effect that lets you activate the Eye of Timaeus from you hand would be a good addition to take advantage of the quick-play property it has. Something like:

‚óŹ  If you control a Spellcaster monster: You can activate 1 "The Eye of Timaeus" from your hand.

Also, nice art as usual.

Custennin is the MVP. It helps them get follow-ups with Isolde, possibly making an Xyz to fetch the arms that Isolde dumped.

Xyz Custennin feels like a 1-of. Floating into an Artorigus to grab equips in GY and non-destruction removal is nice. Downsides are that it doesn't fetch any equips from the GY, isn't a quick effect, and it targets.

I like Pellinore, for the most part. A pretty solid +2 each time you use its effect. Only part that sucks is that the Noble Arms has to be equipped to him (instead of any Arms you control) and it's reliant on your opponent having a face-up monster to begin with.

Clarent is definitely a 1-of, imo. It feels like a win-more, but if all you can do is sit on a protected Artorigus and your opponent keeps setting cards, you wouldn't do damage since you have to attack over monsters. This card can help remedy that by letting him attack directly, pressuring your opponent to get rid of your monster.

The support isn't game-breaking like a lot of people hoped, but I don't think they're too bad. It helps Noble Knights, but not in the ways they needed to be helped (same thing could be said for prior supports).
