#7041291 Make a Xyz Monster Game (v. 2.0)

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 06 October 2017 - 09:02 AM

Number 420: Blazitman
Rank 8
FIRE Plant / Xyz / Effect
3000 / 3000
2 Level 8 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 6 or 7 FIRE Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Until the End Phase, monsters you control gain 1000 ATK. Destroy this monster if your opponent controls a Rank 8 or higher Xyz Monster. If you control 3 “Number 420: Blazitmans”, then you win the Duel.

Number C420: High Blazitman

#7040884 Contact HERO Neos arrives from Neo-Space

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 04 October 2017 - 10:39 AM

It's easier to get this guy out than the original Neos, considering Contact HERO is a Level 6. They both get support from cards like O - Oversoul, so if you send Contact HERO to the GY using an effect and have Oversoul, you can basically do a Contact Fusion that turn. Additionally, because Contact HERO was sent to the GY, you get a Neo Space or NEX card. Very useful.

I can see this potentially working with Cyber Dragons to give them some more search power and access to Synchro Summoning. They don't really need either, though, so I probably wouldn't use this card in my Cyber Dragon deck.

Defense Against the Darkest Arts
Normal Trap
When your DARK monster's effect would make you pay LP: The amount of LP you would pay becomes 0.

Rondo for 97 Keys
Continuous Spell
When a "Melodious" monster is Summoned, except by this card's effect: Place 2 Key Counters on this card. Once per turn, you can remove any number of Key Counters on this card (max. 12): Special Summon 1 "Melodious" monster from your GY whose Level equals the number of removed Key Counters. If this card has exactly 97 Key Counters on it: You win the Duel.

The last effect is obviously never gonna happen, but I felt like putting it anyway because why not.

#7034440 [Finished]Pokémon...in Yu-Gi-Oh!?! [COMPLETED]

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 05 September 2017 - 05:18 PM

Okay, here's the results. I must say, I'm impressed, even though there were only three cards submitted.

A reminder of my criteria

You can only control 1 "Rotom". You can target 1 Machine-Type monster your opponent controls; Equip this card to it, and if you do, gain control of it. A monster equipped with this card has its effects negated, also it cannot be tributed or be used as material in a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Summon. If the equipped monster is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Rotom" once per turn.

MetalSonic's score

Ninjask - Sonic Insect

Effect Monster l Insect l Wind l level 3
You can Special Summon this card, from your hand, by shuffling all cards from your graveyard into your deck (min 1.), during the turn you activate this effect you cannot special summon monsters from your extra deck, except WIND monsters.
You can double this card's ATK, during the turn you activate this effect this card cannot attack.
At the end of the battle phace, if this card did not attack, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects until the start of your next Battle Phace.
If a monster is summoned to your side of the field while this card's ATK is double its original ATK, you can shuffle this card into your deck; that summoned monster's ATK is doubled until the End Phace.
You can only activate each of the effects of "Ninjask - Sonic Insect" once per turn.
700 ATK/700 DEF

Ninjaskisbae's score

Chandelure  ATK 2500 DEF 1800 Level 7 Fire/Fiend/effect

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand), by banishing 2 Fiend-Type monsters from your field or GY. Once per turn, you can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes half its current ATK, and if it does, this card gains that lost ATK. This card is unaffected by your opponent’s monster effects. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: you can shuffle 2 of your banished Fiend-Type monsters and this card into your deck, then draw 1 card.

Congratulations, everybody!

#7032841 Dark Celestial Juno (When Making Match Winners...well, Duel Winners Goes Right)

Fruitoshi? Eh, close enough. I'm a guy, though.

My version from the Create a Card Game

Okay, so I'm just going to list the changes you made from my version and what I think about them:

• It now needs the Tributes to be DARK monsters, and it can't be Normal Set. The lack of Setting it isn't a big deal to me, really. As for the need for the Tributes to be DARK, it isn't a major restriction, since the card already heavily implies that all of the monsters in your deck are DARK.

• The Special Summoning effect is now a Quick Effect, but it only works from the GY. Now that it's a Quick Effect, it's a bit more powerful, but it's not too bad because you still need to Tribute 3 DARK monsters. Being only from the GY makes more sense than my "hand or GY" idea, honestly.

• The effect that activates when it's banished now includes if it's Tributed as well. If you have two or more of "Dark Celestial Juno" in your deck, this could cause a bit of a problem, don't you think? You could Tribute one for another copy, and then you get the benefits of the Continuous Spell effects. Seems overpowered to me; I'd be surprised if this card was anything other than Limited or Forbidden.

• You left out the "instead" in the effect to place it into the Spell/Trap Card Zone. Doesn't that mean your version would still be banished, or am I mistaken?

• You added an entirely new Spell effect (the one related to Tributing). I feel like it's a reasonable effect by itself, though it could be a bit overbearing on your opponent when you consider how much you can abuse it and how many other effects this card has. Just another reason why this card should be Limited or Forbidden.

• You made the last Spell effect specifically target a non-DARK monster that your DARK monster is battling, and specifically deal damage based on it instead of just any non-DARK monster on the field. That helps balance out the effect better than what I wrote.

Overall, I really like the changes. Like, really. Good work!

#7032829 Ghost in The Shell (A Stand-Alone that's Far From Complex)

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 28 August 2017 - 11:33 AM

Mystery Shell Dragon would gain from this, as well as basically all other DARK monsters whose names include the word "Shell." It's a bit vague, but it works to make a new archetype of Shell monsters, I guess. Unfortunately, unless they can flip themselves face-down, they're mostly just there for either being destroyed to activate the new effect or Tributed for a stronger monster. Now that I think about it, maybe Monarchs could use this with Mystery Shell Dragon.

As you already stated, Ghostricks would greatly benefit from this in that they can flip themselves face-down (and eventually get flipped face-up) and eliminate the whole "can't be used as a Material for a Summon" clause, allowing for their ED monsters to make an appearance. If they're destroyed before any of that can happen, you get to eliminate one of your opponent's monsters from the field. Not bad.

I'll keep an eye on Advanced. If you're going to use my card, could you credit me?

Metaphys Apocralyph

Level 4

LIGHT Wyrm / Tuner / Effect

1000 / 1500

One per turn, you can discard 1 card: Special Summon 1 Wyrm-type monster from your GY, but it cannot attack, also banish it during your End Phase.

You could set up a Synchro Summon, and if you set up the Levels correctly, Horus is possible.

Metaphys White Dragon (hopefully it's obvious that I mean a Metaphys version of Blue-Eyes White Dragon)

#7032733 Create a Card Game

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 27 August 2017 - 11:23 PM

Dark Juno

Level 8

DARK Fairy / Effect

3000 / 3000

Requires 3 Tributes to be Normal Summoned/Set. Cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. You can Tribute 3 DARK monsters you control: Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. You can only activate this effect of "Dark Juno" once per turn. If this card would be banished from the field, you can place it in your empty Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell instead. While this card is face-up in your Spell/Trap Card Zone, it gains the following effect:

• Once per turn, when a DARK monster you control attacks, you can target 1 non-DARK monster on the field: Your opponent takes damage equal to half of that monster's current ATK.

I hope you like it.

The latter. At least I didn't miss anything, right?

Would you rather play Pokémon Go or Ultra Sun/Moon?

Would you rather be treated like you're 5 when you're 20 or treated like you're 20 when you're 5?

#7025000 Pokemon Number Game!

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 26 July 2017 - 08:04 PM

Okay, here's where it gets complex.
Baile Style's Fire beats Vikabolt. However, Vikabolt's Electric beats Baile Style.
Pom-Pom Style and Vikabolt are neutral to one another.
Pa'u Style is beaten by Vikabolt's Electric.
Sensu Style is beaten by Vikabolt's Electric.

Vikabolt tends to have the advantage more often, so I'll give you the rep.
