#7098885 Make a Xyz Monster Game (v. 2.0)

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 08 May 2018 - 10:10 AM

Cursed Dragon of the Knight
Rank 5
DARK Dragon / Xyz / Effect
2600 / 2100
2 Level 5 DARK monsters
This card’s name on the field and I’m the GY is also treated as “Curse of Dragon”. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 face-up Spell Card on your opponent’s field; Destroy it. When a “Gaia The Fierce Knight” monster is sent from the field to your GY: You can add 1 “Polymerization” from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect once per turn. This card cannot be used as a Fusion Material while it has Xyz Materials.

Contact Without Contact

Normal Spell

Send monsters from your hand and/or field to the GY: Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists those monsters as Material but cannot be Fusion Summoned, ignoring its Summoning conditions. If the Fusion Monster would be a "Neos" monster, you can shuffle the Materials into your deck instead.

A simple way to get your Contact Fusions out on the field without having to Summon all of the Materials for it.

Dragunally
Quickplay Spell
Target 1 Dragon-type “Dragunity” monster in your GY that has the same Level as a monster(s) you control: Special Summon it, then equip it to that monster(s) (your choice, if multiple). The equipped monster is treated as a Tuner while it is equipped by the targeted monster.

Did somebody say Trains?

#7058121 Support an Archetype

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 02 December 2017 - 12:08 PM

I meant the archetype used by Yusei Fudo, but whatever.

Now for an upgrade to the support card “Merlin”.

Merlin, Magician of the Noble Knights
Link 3
South / East / West
LIGHT Spellcaster / Link / Effect
2800 ATK
1+ “Noble Knight” monsters + “Merlin”
When this card is Link Summoned, you can target 1 “Noble Knight” Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster in your GY: Special Summon it to one of your Monster Zones this card isn’t Linked to. “Noble Knights” monsters in this card’s Linked Zones gain 800 ATK when they battle a non-Warrior-type monster. If this card leaves the field from your opponent’s card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or below “Noble Knight” monster from your deck, but you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn, except “Noble Knight” monsters.

#7057298 Archetype Game

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 30 November 2017 - 09:15 AM

Shmebulock is an archetype based around a single rainbow-barfing gnome. Similar to the Jinzo archetype, it focuses on a main monster (the Link 3 EARTH Fairy “Shmebulock”) and variations of its ability, in this case the ability to bring other members of the archetype on to the field and gain power based on how many Shmebulock monsters it’s pointing to. It’s really more of an attack-based archetype than anything else, though they do have a few burn effects in their Spell and Trap support. Most of their other support is either specifically for “Schmebulock” or resembles generic cards like CotH and Mirror Force. It’s not much good in tournaments and whatnot, but you can still have fun with it against your friends.

Maybe instead of the 2400 ATK restriction, you could say “Monarch” monster instead. That way, non-Monarchs are excluded from the restriction, and Monarchs with 2800 ATK can’t be Tribute Summoned using this card. That’s assuming this card is meant to not work for Monarchs, though.

Overall, this is a pretty good card. It gives you both draw power and easier Tribute Summons. If your deck runs based on Tribute Summons and you draw this card, then you’re pretty much set.

Doesn’t that sort of ruin the fun, though? We shouldn’t need to know when something is being planned.

#7053799 [CC Event] ZPD Field Exam

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 19 November 2017 - 01:25 PM

Here are some edits. Basically, I made it so the Counter effect works on Level 8+, Rank 5+, and Link-3+ monsters instead of just Level/Rank 8+ monsters. Also, it now takes only 2 End Phases instead of 3.

#7053734 YO! The Name Is Izumi and I've had a rough time actually getting on t...

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 19 November 2017 - 01:08 AM

Welcome! I think you'll enjoy the Misc section, it can get pretty fun in some of the games there. There are also a bunch of card-making games (Make a Synchro Monster, Support an Archetype, etc.), so if you ever learn more about the game and get into card-making, you should check those out!

I take it the glitch you mentioned has to do with YCM saying you joined in 2008 lol

#7053152 [Written] Blue-Eyes Dragon

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 17 November 2017 - 12:29 AM

I think you could do more with the name, but I digress.

The Summoning requirements are fine, but only a Link 2? That makes it seem a bit overpowered, especially because we have cards like “Elemental HERO Prisma” that can become a Blue-Eyes card and other effects that can change a card’s name. Plus, it’s already fairly easy to Summon a Blue-Eyes as-is, so...yeah. If you lowered the ATK to 2500 or less, it would be a bit better.

The first effect...wow. Just imagine how many cards you could draw if you execute this properly. It seems slightly overpowered, but not too much to matter on its own. However, the second effect is vastly overpowered. Not only can you get a free “Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon” or “Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon”, but it can come from basically nowhere, and whatever you choose, it can attack the turn it’s Summoned. You definitely need to nerf that effect a lot more somehow. Might I suggest making it so the Summoned monster cannot attack the turn it’s Summoned?

I assume you mean Xyz Dragon, which is just those two and Black Fang Magician.

The Rebellious Requiem

Equip Spell

Equip to 1 "Xyz Dragon" monster you control. The equipped monster gains 100 ATK x its Rank. The equipped monster cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects, except monster effects of monsters with more ATK than the equipped monster. If you would detach an Xyz Material from the equipped monster, you can send this card to the GY instead.

Hopefully that makes sense.

#7051032 [CC Event] ZPD Field Exam

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 07 November 2017 - 10:56 PM

Anyone remember the original Bonding card? Used to Summon "Water Dragon"? New support as of 2017, and a new "Water Dragon Cluster"? No? Okay.

Honestly, I feel like it's underpowered as far as support goes, so here's some support.

Bonding - H2O2

Yes, I realize that H2O2 isn't water (it's hydrogen peroxide), which is why I added the "gains 200 ATK" effect (signifying the extra oxygen atom) and the effect that lowers other monsters' ATK (the acidic nature of H2O2).

Also, Edd is best scientist.

#7050194 [CC Event] ZPD Field Exam

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 04 November 2017 - 06:23 PM

Here’s some edits.

Blue-Eyes Link Dragon
Link 3
Southwest / South / Southeast
LIGHT Dragon / Link / Effect
3000 ATK
1+ LIGHT Effect monsters + 1+ LIGHT Dragon-type Normal Monsters
This card’s name becomes “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” while it is on the field or in the GY. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can target 1 other Dragon-type monster you control that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: During your next Battle Phase, it gains an additional attack, but this card cannot attack. When this card is sent to the GY: You can activate 1 of the following effects:
• Target 1 “with Eyes of Blue” monster in your GY: Special Summon it.
• Add 1 “with Eyes of Blue” monster from your GY to your hand.

Here's my card. It took a while to turn a picture of Kuriboh into the card art using just Paint.

On a side note, for the uninformed, Osiris is the Egyptian deity of the underworld.

#7041291 Make a Xyz Monster Game (v. 2.0)

Posted by Fruiota_Hiroshi on 06 October 2017 - 09:02 AM

Number 420: Blazitman
Rank 8
FIRE Plant / Xyz / Effect
3000 / 3000
2 Level 8 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 6 or 7 FIRE Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Until the End Phase, monsters you control gain 1000 ATK. Destroy this monster if your opponent controls a Rank 8 or higher Xyz Monster. If you control 3 “Number 420: Blazitmans”, then you win the Duel.

Number C420: High Blazitman
