expand upon the experimental mechanic game (duel weapons)

so this should be a simple but not restrictive idea. i put an experimental mechanic and people make cards around it. for this game i will be using duel weapons

wont use everything in the link tho just to simplify it just a bit

 

how the mechanic works;

 

1) duel weapons go in the extra deck

 

2) players activate the duel weapon by using their normal summon and it is placed face up on the extra deck.

 

3) duel weapons are their own type of card

 

removed stuff is the ADP points and the limit of one duel weapon per extra deck

 

rules of the game;

 

1) create a card using the prompts that the last person left (eg. person said the duel weapon must effect toons. so you create one that effects toons)

 

2)  you must leave a prompts for the next person so they can make the next card. this may include that the duel weapon has to effect an archetype, monsters type, sub type, level/rank, attribute or card type(eg. ritual, normal, and so on).

 

3) you do not have to have the next person make a duel weapon if you want but if they are to make a card that card must effect the duel weapon mechanic; this may be support, negation and so on, leave the type of card and type of effect for the next person to make if doing so (note you don't have to list the type of effect but at least list the type of card. 

 

4) a person may leave a card name in the prompts for the next card if they so choose.

was a post in the card workshop as a game where people would post cards expanding on the archetype but no one seems interested so i will post the cards for review. tell me what you think. link below if you want to give the game ago.

complete this archetype game

so the rules are simple. i will start with a central monster(s) and then post a name. Then the next person creates a card with that name revolving around the archetype and then lists another name and rinse and repeat. people may put particular details next to the name given for the next person as well (eg. person must make the next card a XYZ monster). Cards must be part of the archetype or support for it 

 

the archetype will be ''platinum dragons'' and the starting cards will be 

 

platinum dragon blue

lv: 1 attribute: light

type: dragon 

ATK: 500 DEF:500

effect: when this monster is normal summon all players discard a card, then you may search your deck for a monster with a level equal to or less then the combined levels of any monsters discarded among those cards and add that monster to your hand. 

 

platinum dragon red

lv: 1 attribute: light

(note: i tried posting this before but couldnt see it posted when i went to the forum so i am trying to post it again to see if it shows up, i apologies if it showed up twice for other people)

 

so just an idea i had 

 

multi-dimension gate

spell(field)

effect: you may set and activate field spell cards in your main spell and trap zones. During your standby if you control 5 field spell cards in your main spell and trap zones while this card is face up on the field you win the game.
