#7138905 Making an "Nom Noms" archetype starting with the boss

Posted by Godbrand on 12 July 2019 - 04:31 PM

I plan on making a Nom Noms Archetype (in the written CaC multiples archetype section) I was inspired by Gargos AKA "Nom Nom" to do a new Yu-Gi-Oh! archetype. Dr. Jolly Glot the III responded to this with like this? [If this card is targeted by opponent's monster effect: its immediately become Battle Phase and players must conduct a battle with this card and Monster that targeted this card (with turn player monster declaring Attack).] That was a neat idea but I have something different in mind but I may steal that later <3 I will make the Nom Noms archetype later but I will make the single boss for now. Getting on to the boss monster which allow you get it out quickly so you can control the board which is allowing zero monsters on your opponent side so you can run over your opponent.

Boss monster
Nom Noms Gargos, Vicious Devourer: Level 10 |
| WIND | Reptile-Type | Non-Tuner | Effect monster |
| 3500 ATK | 3000 DEF |
The level of all level 5 or higher WIND Reptile monsters in your hand is reduced by 4. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by shuffling 1 face-up WIND Reptile-Type monster you control except "Nom Noms Gargos, Vicious Devourer" into your Deck. You can Special Summon this card (from your GY) by returning 3 face-up WIND Reptile-Type monsters you control to the hand, except "Nom Noms Gargos, Vicious Devourer" to your hand. If a monster your control is targeted by a card effect, target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, the targeted monster loses DEF equal to this card's ATK then, this card loses DEF equal to the targeted monster's ATK. If a face-up monster's DEF becomes 0 by a card effect, destroy the monster. You can only control 1 face-up "Nom Noms Gargos, Vicious Devourer".

#7136122 Commaner Partners in Yu-Gi-Oh!?

Posted by Godbrand on 01 April 2019 - 03:04 AM

Partner Commander is something in EDH Format in MTG where you have two leading boss creatures commanding the deck. Decks focused around them. Yeah so something similar like but something a little different. In MTG the partner commander are there face-up in the "extra deck" I guess you can call something like that at the beginning of the game. We have to put in an effect to mimic that also stuff to make it worth actually playing them.

Example 01:
| Dragon Eater, Rav'Ghul: Level 3 |
| EARTH | Fiend-Type | Effect monster |
| 1700 ATK | 3300 DEF |
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by this card's effect. At the beginning of the Duel, you may reveal this card from your Deck and if you do: you may banish this card face-up and you must also banish 1 other card from your Deck with a different card effect or you lose the Duel. During your Main Phase 1 while this card is banished by this card's effect and you control a face-up Dragon-Type monster, you can banish that monster and if you do; Special Summon this card. When this card is Summoned: Banish all Dragon-Type monsters from your opponent's GY then place 1 Stew Counter on this card for each card banished by this card effect. This card gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Stew Counter on this card. You can only use each effect of "Dragon Eater, Rav,Ghul" once per turn.

Example 02:
| Spell Quake, Kamolvotz : Level 4 |
| FIRE | Rock-Type | Effect monster |
| 0 ATK | 0 DEF |
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by this card's effect. At the beginning of the Duel, you may reveal this card from your Deck and if you do: you may banish this card face-up and you must also banish 1 other card from your Deck with a different card effect or you lose the Duel. During your Main Phase 1 while this card is banished by this card's effect and you control a face-up Spell card, you can shuffle that card into your Deck then banish 1 Trap card from your Deck face-down and if you do; Special Summon this card. When this card is Summoned: Destroy 1 card your opponent controls then Your opponent reveals cards from top card(s) of their Deck until your opponent reveals a Normal Spell card: Banish all cards revealed this way face-down and send the normal Spell card to the GY. You can only use each effect of "Spell Quake, Kamolvotz" once per turn.

Still a work in progress... tell me what you think of it so far?

#7136062 Bruse Tarl and Ikra Shidiqi Partner EDH Commander Deck!

Posted by Godbrand on 31 March 2019 - 02:49 AM

Bruse and Ikra means a battle focused strategy, dealing tons of damage, stuff like vial smasher to lower opponent's life down to 0 and, also gaining life to out pace opponents. For this deck, it will be a four color (without blue) partner commander deck meaning this deck will have two commanders, this deck will also be legendary tribal meaning most of the creatures will be legendary. Second part of the strategy is one of multiple combos that is outside of battle. Example one is World Gorger Dragon + Animate Dead to gain infinite mana out of nowhere and the second example is the infinite graveyard recursion combo. The partners that only partner with only one other creatures are also added since just casting them will keep tutoring out more to keep dropping stuff. Ways to get stuff back from the GY (I have multiple ways to get stuff I want in the GY and getting them out of the GY). Sun Titian can bring back Animate Dead back from the GY for World Gorger Dragon and other crazy combo things. Most creatures are focused to do big things during the battle phase while most of these creature will also be legendary. Captain Sisay and other ways to tutor out a lot of my creatures/cards.

#7130059 Keyforge

Posted by Godbrand on 28 November 2018 - 12:30 PM

Lets talk about keyforge. A game where you have decks but can not edit the decks. You can buy cards but not booster packs. Battling is second but gathering amber aka mana is first. Gain 6 amber to make a key. Have 3 keys you win. You have a deck with 3 different houses aka guilds in your deck but you can only play with one third of your deck at any time.

Discuss this new and interesting anomaly.

#7125165 (Written CaC Archetype) Parahwyrmsites Archetype

Posted by Godbrand on 24 October 2018 - 02:12 AM

The archetype name is based of wyrms and parasites. These little buggers are also treated as insect-type and zombie-type in addition to being wyrms. They are worms that get into the corpses of dead things and take control of it. the more they kill, the more dead hosts they get to inhabit thus continuing the undying cycle that will plague everything everywhere. They like to normal summon because special summoning is for plussies. NOT ONLY do they like getting normal summoned but especially from the grave. They can discard themselves to get where they want to be and allowing normal summon from the grave. The also have the ability to get additional normal summons outs. The big daddy wyrm also have a means to keep the fun going.

TBQH, you should have coughed up the extra cash for at least a 1TB HDD, though I've seen recommendations at 2TB HDD. Also, four sticks of 2GB DDR2 RAM? The current standard is DDR4, though you could have gotten away with DDR3. Though, I would have gone with fewer sticks of RAM that each had a higher capacity.

I switched up where it is Memory: Kingston - ValueRAM 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-800 Memory ($23.70 @ Amazon)
Memory: Kingston - ValueRAM 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-800 Memory ($23.70 @ Amazon)

edit: oh I see (2 x 2gb). see if I can fix that...

#7124535 Communism runs deep here and so does the censorship.

Discuss how censorship is used as a tool by communists to silence opposing voices so they are the only party (ONE PARTY agenda) to have full 100% freedom of speech and every one do not. This also allow them to get away with "stuff".
