Majestic Dragon Support!

07 December 2018 - 12:37 PM

Felt it wasn’t really fair that Stardust and Red Dragon each had Majestic forms, so I made Majestic forms for the rest of the Signer dragons. I also made some support cards to help get them out.

Support

Majestic Signer                                 Dragon/LIGHT/LV 1         0/0

While Synchro Summoning a “Majestic” Synchro monster using this card on the field you can also banish monsters from your GY as Material for the Summon. If you Special Summon a Synchro monster while this card is in your hand or GY, you can reveal a Synchro monster in your Extra Deck that lists that Summoned monster as a Material; Special Summon this card. If this card is Special Summoned from the GY, banish it when it leaves the field.

Majestic Revelation                       Quick-Play Spell

Take a “Majestic Re” card, or a Dragon type “Majestic” monster, from your Deck (other than “Majestic Revelation”) and either add it to your hand or Special Summon it. You can banish this card from the GY to target a Tuner you control; it becomes level 1. You can only activate each effect of “Majestic Revelation” once per turn.

Majestic Return                                Normal Trap

If a monster you control is returned to the Extra Deck; draw 2 cards. You can banish this card from your GY and target a Synchro monster you control; Special Summon a Dragon type “Majestic” monster from your Deck or GY whose level is lower than the level of that Synchro monster. You can only activate each effect of “Majestic Return” once per turn.

Majestic Retribution                      Normal Trap

If a Synchro monster is Special Summoned from your GY; shuffle 2 cards from the field or GY(s) into the Deck(s), then, each player who had a card(s) returned to the Deck draws 1 card. You can banish this card from your GY to target a monster you control and a Synchro monster in your GY; that monster you control is treated as having the name of that monster in your GY, until the End Phase. You can only activate each effect of “Majestic Retribution” once per turn.

Extra Deck Monsters

Majestic Rose Dragon                    FIRE/Dragon/Synchro/LV 9                     3200/2800

"Majestic Dragon" + "Black Rose Dragon" + 1 non-Tuner monster

If this card is Synchro Summoned you can banish a number of cards from the top of your opponent’s Deck up to the number of cards your opponent controls. If a card(s) is banished; this card gains 400 ATK for each. Once per turn if the opponent activates a card or effect you can have this card lose 1600 ATK; negate the card or effect and banish it. During the End Phase: Target 1 "Black Rose Dragon" in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target.

Majestic Power Dragon                 EARTH/Dragon/Synchro/LV 10                   3300/3200

"Majestic Dragon” + 1 non-Tuner monster + either “Power Tool Dragon” OR “Life Stream Dragon”

Gains 500 ATK for each card equipped to it. Once per turn, you can target 1 of your Equip Spells in the GY or that is banished; equip it to this card. During the End Phase: Target 1 "“Power Tool Dragon" or “Life Stream Dragon” in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target. If this card is in the GY because it was destroyed by battle or a card effect you can target a monster you control; equip this card to that monster. While this card is equipped to a monster it is treated as an Equip Spell with the following effect:

  • The equipped monster gains 500 ATK for each card equipped to it. Once per turn, you can target 1 Equip Spell card in either GY or that is banished; equip it to a monster on the field.

Majestic Ebony Dragon              DARK/Dragon/Synchro/LV 10                   3500/1900

"Majestic Dragon” + “Black-Winged Dragon” + 1 non-Tuner monster

Once per turn you can target a monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to half its original ATK, also it cannot be destroyed by battle this turn. Whenever a monster your opponent controls loses ATK, inflict the same amount as damage to your opponent’s LP. If this card battles a monster whose current ATK is lower than its original ATK, you can have this card gain ATK equal to the difference, during damage calculation only. During the End Phase: Target 1 “Black-Winged Dragon” in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target.

Majestic Fairy Dragon                 WIND/Dragon/Synchro/LV 9                   2900/3500

"Majestic Dragon" + " Ancient Fairy Dragon" + 1 non-Tuner monster

During your opponent’s Main or Battle Phases, if you opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster, you can; immediately end the current Phase. If a player activates a Field Spell you can; destroy it, then that player must either add a Field Spell from their Deck to their hand or discard their hand. You can only activate each of the above effects of “Majestic Fairy Dragon” once per turn. Gains 1000 ATK for each Field Spell on the field and in either player’s GY. During the End Phase: Target 1 "Ancient Fairy Dragon” in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target.

Legacy Link Support, part 2

27 November 2018 - 02:17 PM

10 new cards for you! Basically, there are a bunch of old Archetypes that don’t work as well after MR4. This is my attempt to help fill in some of the weak spots. Also included a couple of “generic” link monsters intended as retrains as well. Dova, you reviewed part one so I’d really like to see what you think of this bunch. Per your joke I’m leaving what is being supported out of the description. I hope you enjoy the surprise.

Here’s the link to Part 1 of this: https://forum.yugioh...y-link-support/

Herald of Radiant Light         LIGHT/Fairy/Link                    300/1(D)

1 Level 2 Fairy Monster

If this card is Linked Summon you may add a Level 2 Fairy Monster from your Deck to your hand, with a different name from this card’s Link Material. If the opponent activates a card or effect you can Tribute this card and discard a card; negate the card or effect and destroy it, and then if you do and if the discarded card was a Fairy monster, draw a card.

Eternity Shield                        EARTH/Warrior/Link               3000/1(D)

1 Warrior monster

The card cannot attack. A monster this card points to cannot be targeted for an attack or by card effects.

Guardian Faust                       DARK/Fiend/Link                    1200/1(D)

1 monster equipped with an Equip Spell Card

If this card is Link Summoned you can reveal a “Guardian” monster in your hand; add an Equip Spell Card that is listed in that monster’s text from your Deck to your hand, then shuffle that monster into the Deck and draw a card. If you activate an Equip Spell Card you may Special Summon one monster that lists that Equip Spell Card in its card text from your Deck. You do not have to send cards from our hand to the GY to activate Equip Spell Cards. You may only activate each effect of “Guardian Faust” once per turn.

Evil HERO Lilith                    DARK/Warrior/Link                1400/2(D, R)

2 “HERO monsters, including an “Evil HERO” monster

Once per turn you can banish 1 “Elemental HERO” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck; Special Summon an “Evil HERO” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists the same Fusion Materials (this is treated as a Fusion Summon with “Dark Fusion”) but it cannot be used as Material for a Link Summon. If a monster this card points to is targeted by a card or effect you can Tribute this card; negate that card or effect and destroy it. You can only activate each effect of “Evil HERO Lilith” once per turn.

Predaplant Poison Poppy        DARK/Plant/Link                    1600/2(DR, DL)

2 Plant monsters

If this card battles a monster with a level currently lower than its original level it gains ATK equal to the difference x 300 during damage calculation only. You can banish this card from your GY to place a Predator Counter on each of up to 2 face-up monsters your opponent controls.

Rainbow Duston                     LIGHT/Fiend/Link                   0/1(D)

1 “Duston” monster

The opponent cannot use “Duston” monsters they control as Material for any kind of Summon. At the start of the Battle Phase, this card’s ATK becomes equal to the total number of “Duston” monsters your opponent controls x 1000. Can ATK a number of times each Battle Phase up to the number of “Duston” monsters you control.

Genex Comptroller                 DARK/Machine/Link               1400/1(D)

1 “Genex” monster, other than a Link monster

During your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon a “Genex” monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. If this card was Link Summoned using “Genex Controller” as Material, you opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the Normal Summon of “Genex” monsters, or in response to the effects of “Genex” monsters that activate when they are Normal Summoned.

Genex Signal Booster              DARK/Machine/Link               1600/2(L, R)

2 “Genex” monsters, other than Link monsters

You can only activate each effect of “Genex Signal Booster” once per turn. During the turn this card was Link Summoned, you may, immediately after this effect resolves: Synchro Summon a “Genex” Synchro Monster by banishing its Materials from your GY. This card gains the following effects depending on its Link Materials.

  • An “R-Genex” monster: You may send a “Genex” monster from your Deck to your GY; add a “Genex” monster with the same level but a different original name from your Deck to your hand.
  • A “Genex Ally” monster: You may target a “Genex” monster you control or that is in your GY and declare an Attribute; it becomes that Attribute until the End Phase.

Overlord Kristya                    LIGHT/Fairy/Link                    2800/4(U, DL, D, DR)

2+ Fairy monsters

If this card is Link Summoned using 4 monsters as Material, you can Special Summon a Fairy monster from your GY or from your banished cards. Your opponent cannot Link Summon. If this card is sent from the field to the GY by battle or by an opponent’s card effect, you can shuffle 1 other Fairy monster from your GY into your Deck; draw a card.

Gonglu, Power of the Yang Zing          DARK/Dragon/Link                1700/2 (DL, DR)

2 Wyrm monsters

“Yang Zing” monsters used to Link Summon this card apply their effects to this card that they would apply to Synchro Monsters Summoned using them. Also apply those effects to Wyrm monsters this card points to. You can Tribute this card (Quick Effect) to target one card on the field with an effect that prevents or negates Special Summons; negate that card or effect until the end of the turn (you can use this effect in response to a Counter Trap Card activated in response to an attempted Special Summon).

As you can see, I didn’t have any lunch with “Ice Barrier”, “Digital Bug”, or “Mist Valley”. Not 100% sure where they are weak you know? Maybe for part 3!

Battleguard Training Grounds                    Field Spell

If this card is activated you may add a "Battleguard" monster from your Deck to your hand. You may Tribute a “Battleguard” monster you control; Special Summon a “Battleguard” monster from your hand or Deck, other than “Junior Battleguard”. If a “Battleguard” monster you control would be destroyed by battle or by an opponent’s card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only activate each effect of “Junior Battleguard” once per turn.

Battleguard Fury                              Equip Spell

Equip only to a “Battleguard” monster you control. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK. The equipped monster gains the following effects while you control the corresponding monsters:

Battleguard Friendship                      Normal Spell

Select one of the following options:

  • Target a "Swamp Battleguard" you control or reveal one in your hand; Special Summon a "Lava Battleguard" from your Deck.
  • Target a "Lava Battleguard" you control or reveal one in your hand; Special Summon a "Swamp Battleguard" from your Deck.
  • If you control "Swamp Battleguard" and "Lava Battleguard"; draw 2 cards.

During your Draw Phase, if you control a "Battleguard" monster while this card is in the GY, you may set this card instead of conducting your normal draw.

Miscellaneous Fusion Support

26 October 2018 - 09:10 AM

Some miscellaneous Fusion Support to try and fill in some of the blanks.

Fusion from Normalcy            Normal Spell

Pay half your LP; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using non-effect monsters from your hand, field, Deck, or Extra Deck as Fusion Material.

[Supports “First of the Dragons”, “Dragon Master Knight”, “Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon”, “Dark Flare Knight”, “Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon”, assorted “Elemental Hero” Fusions, the “Gaia” Fusions, The “Pyro + Machine” Fusions, ect.]

Deep Fusion                            Normal Spell

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. If you use a monster you control as Fusion Material, you may also use a Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck as one of the Material.

[Supports “Dragon Master Knight”, “Dark Flare Knight”, “Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon”, assorted “Hero” Fusions, the “Gaia” Fusions, The “Pyro + Machine” Fusions, the “Lunalight” Fusions, the “Melodious” Fusion, ect.]

Unstable Fusion                      Equip Spell

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material and equip this card to that Fusion Monster. If this card is removed from the field return that Fusion Monster to the Extra Deck, then, if all the Fusion Materials that were used for its Fusion Summon are in your GY, you can Special Summon all of them.

[“Polymerization” + “De-fusion” in Equip form.]

Union Fusion                           Normal Spell

Special Summon a Machine Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck by banishing Union and/or Normal Monsters listed on it as Material from your hand, field, or Deck, including a monster you control. That monster is treated as having been Special Summoned by its own Summoning condition. If you would activate the effect of a Machine Fusion Monster by discarding, you can banish this card from your GY instead of discarding.

[I think it’s pretty obvious what this supports. A-to-Z for the win!]

Pot of Gluttony

24 October 2018 - 10:49 AM
