Plot
Lath, a world currently engulfed in war.
At a time when it seemed most likely when the human and vampire races could coexist in peace, less than a century after the war had ended, the young prince Elnaer ascended to the throne and became Vampire Lord over the realm. Unfortunately, it just so happened that he had a deep grudge of humans, and his first order as Vampire Lord was to declare war on them.
Taking the humans by surprise, the vampire kingdom crushed the towns and cities of the humans and killed any on sight. Under the strategic leadership of Lord Elnaer, the humans have been pushed into a corner...
...but within darkness, there is always light. A few years after he rose to the throne, the humans have regrouped for one last stand. The strongest and bravest of them all, led by the legendary warrior 'the Phoenix' (real name John Alexander), will have to embark on a perilous quest to free both races of Lord Elnaer's tyranny...!!!
Will you rebel against him, or will you join him? Will you uphold, or will you betray? Will you stay sane, or will you go insane?
Past (you should probably read this to have a better understanding on Lath)
There was once a small and peaceful world called Lath. Two races lived in that world, the first race was the Human race. These peaceful beings lived a harmonious existence for a long time... this was known as the 'Golden Age of Humans'.
But then the second race appeared into this peaceful era, the formidable Vampire race. Perhaps they had started off as a mutation of humans, or perhaps as demons who somehow ended up with amnesia. In any case, nobody knows anymore. And they probably don't care either.
These long-lived conquerors set out to build great cities and gain dominion over all living things. In time, their aggression enslaved the passive Human race, who were quite pathetic. The Vampires reigned supreme, and the Humans were kept as slaves. This was known as the 'Golden Age of Vampires'.
Divided by hatred, a revolt would soon ensue. With no other choice, the humans tapped into a mystical energy known as 'magic'. They learned it, and when the time was right, a war for freedom began. With unexpected force, they damaged the Vampire kingdom, and with magic began to overpower the Vampires in bloody confrontations. But in the end, neither could defeat the other and had a truce.
The two races, despite their differences, began to coexist with each other, and for a moment you could've believed that it was actually possible to live in harmony together...

This is more or less for those who still have no clue about anything in the roleplay, even after reading the plot (whom I expect to be everyone). It also provides clear ordinary extra information, and how to start out.
*The story will be taking place around the capital city of the vampires, which is called Nuevida.
*If you start out as a human, you're most likely part of a squadron formed by John Alexandra (otherwise known as 'the Phoenix'), based in a campsite not too far away from Nuevida. You could've been dragged along for some reason, paid as a mercenary to fight for it, or joined it on your own free will to save the humans or for any personal reason. Otherwise, you're either fighting against them solo, still trying to find the campsite, or a human trapped in prison awaiting execution by vampires.
*If you start out as a vampire, you're probably a soldier or a citizen, or maybe a rebel who protests against Lord Elnaer's rule, or maybe even some child raised by humans in some random anonymous village.
*The world of Lath only has a full moon once every year. And let's just say the years are 365 days for simplicity, alright? The day for the complete full moon is approaching.
*Lath is a tiny planet, probably only about a quartet as large as Earth...there are no concepts of 'continents', but everything else more or less is the same as our world. Other than the presence of mana-style magic and vampires.
*Humans have a magic medieval-based daily life, while vampires lean more to a version of modern life without technology.
*Magic is only usable by humans, hybrids, and vampires with royal blood (distant or oblivious relatives work too).
*Vampires are not transformed humans. Is this perfectly clear? They are their own race. They have pale-ish skin, high strength/speed, sharp fangs, and a lifespan twice as long as humans, although from baby to adult is at more or less the same rate as humans. Blood to them is like alcohol to humans; forbidden for youngsters, can get drunk on it, is sorta addictive, tastes better when mixed... but most of the time it comes from animals and not humans.
*Yes, Hybrids are allowed. Feel free to be creative when it comes to them.
*Random info, but there's a small shining red comet in space that's constantly visible in the night sky. It's pretty and all, and it would be a subject for a lot of research if Lord Elnaer wasn't genocidal about the humans and all.
*Elves supposedly existed thousands of years ago, leaving behind strange monuments in the form of glowing green stones and seeds that grow into whatever the planter wants them to grow into. Feel free to use this information however you wish.

But when the corrupt Elnaer succeeded the throne, he was forced into hiding amongst other humans. After a few years, he finally couldn't take it anymore and decided to bring together a resistance, a last stand against the vampires, with the only goal of getting Lord Elnaer off the throne.
Personality: Almost always courageous and optimistic, fearlessly leading his troops into near-hopeless missions and battles with absolute certainty of victory, believing in justice and never hesitating to cut down evil. However, he trusts too easily, and was quite hurt when Elnaer had ordered the total annihilation of the humans, which in turn made him bitter of all vampires. Also, he would rather pin his hopes on something that actually exists than something 'foretold of in legends', which in a way makes him a realist. During combat, he becomes careless about his surroundings, never worrying about creating forest fires while utilizing his magic.

Abilities: John is capable of and specializes in fire magic, which he utilizes during combat. When facing an opponent, his preferred way of combat is to wrap either his sword, his shield, or his entire body in flames during the battle, thus making him a much harder enemy to approach and defeat. He always wears elegant royal garments of a dark reddish color, which he just so happens to wear even into battle. He possesses fangs and claws. Bio: Lord Elnaer was raised royally. He was spoiled by the family, having been given everything he wanted and desired. It was only when he was eighteen that the family had finally realized just how horrible they had turned him into, some spoiled brat who couldn't do anything but want, want, want. So they decided to send him off on a trip, to see the outside world. However, what he saw was not what he was meant to see. As he was shown around Lath, learning more about their lifestyles and how to adapt them into himself once he became Vampire Lord, he came upon a horrifying sight.
Humans remorselessly butchering vampires, exterminating them all without mercy, only laughter. Of course, the town was one of vampires who had wanted to usurp the throne and annihilate the humans, disagreeing with the peace, and the 'butchering' was simply 'subduing'. Also, the laughter was merely from Elnaer's own delusion. Neither of these facts he knew.
But in any case, he was horrified by the sight, and it changed his perspective of the world into a rather distorted one. He would raid the library every chance he got, researching on ways to defeat and exterminate humans.
Not only that, but he obtained an utter addiction to human blood, not for its alcoholic properties to vampires, but because it could be treated as 'revenge'. Human blood was illegal, but he obtained it anyway without much difficulty or suspicion.
When his father died and the time finally came for him to succeed the throne, it was only natural that he would declare war on them and break the centennial peace. Not only that, but this also gave him a better cover for reaping their blood and getting drunk in them.

Bio: Alsa von Mira is the younger brother of the tyrant called Elnaer. Being part of the vampiric royal family, it was only natural that a child like him was raised in elegance, yet at the same time raised in the shadow of his older brother. Still, he didn't mind this, preferring to read stories and legends in the library, which just so happened to be mostly centered around humans.
When his older brother became Vampire Lord, declared war on all the humans, and disposed of all the storybooks centered around humans, Alsa protested. Elnaer, having never cared about his younger brother, didn't hesitate for a moment to throw him undeservingly into prison.
Since then, he has spent his whole teenagerhood stuck in a prison, constantly meeting captured humans and vampire rebels who keep getting thrown in there - before getting executed within the next day or two. To the public, 'Alsa von Mira' was killed by humans, and only the prison guards as well as Elnaer himself know he's still alive. Despite this, he has remained strong, and maybe...just maybe...his chance of escape is coming soon.
Personality: Alsa von Mira has a love of stories, and tends to constantly rant about them on and on in prison. Anyone awaiting execution by the vampires will probably always hear a good story from him about some hero (mostly human) before their time comes. When there's nobody to keep him company, he tells them to the prison guards. Usually they ignore him, but there's the rare occasion when they decided to sit down and listen.
Faction: Neutral, though leaning towards Humans
Abilities: Alsa possesses the ordinary super strength and heightened senses that all vampires have. Being part of the royal family, he's capable of magic, though he only knows basics such as creating small balls of energy floating in the air which can act as 'lamps'.

Bio: Born in a man-o-centric world dominated by the oppressive maletocracy was a young Clarice Blackwell. She was born to a dual parent household with her two mothers looking after her. While one of her mothers was akin to martial arts the other was an avid magician therefore the child would grow up proficient in both. Clarice's upbringing was rather normal however subtle idiosyncrasies led her to be a tad more manly than most of the boys around her. This led to her having trouble finding and retaining a boyfriend. It wasn't that she wasn't attractive or vulgar like before it was subtle. Clarice would always fix things by herself, she had an unhealthy need to be competitive in combat, she was unnaturally gifted at sports, and not so subtly her paycheck was always higher than whatever man she would find herself with.
Clarice worked as a bodyguard for the majority of her life. It was the best way to make use of her magic, combat ability, and somewhat repressed male rage. It was a good way to pay her way through school. Her main clients were ambassadors who were dealing with human vampire relations and while she was able to fight off technologically enhanced vampires with her magic which was nice considering vampires gave her the competition she really desired. One day though after the new high lord of Vampire-dom took to the throne, long after she graduated, she was doing a bodyguard job. She was ambushed though that was nothing new it came with the territory, however these vampires were different. Not only was their technology far above any level she had experienced before but they could perfectly read her moves and there was no way that should be possible. Needless to say she was soundly defeated her target killed and she left to die in the middle of the street.
Luckily she was saved by the new revolutionary force. Now with her reputation as a bodyguard ruined she as sworn to find the source of these super vampires and deliver a many righteous curb stomping.
Personality: Clarice is a STRONG BLACK WOMAN, and everyone will know about it! She does not need to be tied down by any man with their inferiority complexes. Always trying to prove that she can do anything that a man can do she finds herself constantly defiant. As such she is not always trusting of men which leads to series of inappropriate outburst and accusations. Though she is always looking for that one man who is more manly than her.

Clarice would always fix things by herself, she had an unhealthy need to be competitive in combat, she was unnaturally gifted at sports, and not so subtly her paycheck was always higher than whatever man she would find herself with.
Clarice worked as a bodyguard for the majority of her life. It was the best way to make use of her magic, combat ability, and somewhat repressed male rage. It was a good way to pay her way through school. Her main clients were ambassadors who were dealing with human vampire relations and while she was able to fight off technologically enhanced vampires with her magic which was nice considering vampires gave her the competition she really desired. One day though after the new high lord of Vampire-dom took to the throne, long after she graduated, she was doing a bodyguard job. She was ambushed though that was nothing new it came with the territory, however these vampires were different. Not only was their technology far above any level she had experienced before but they could perfectly read her moves and there was no way that should be possible. Needless to say she was soundly defeated her target killed and she left to die in the middle of the street.
Luckily she was saved by the new revolutionary force. Now with her reputation as a bodyguard ruined she as sworn to find the source of these super vampires and deliver a many righteous curb stomping.

After the end of the was, all records about their branch of the family was lost and the main family refused to acknowledge them as having any sort of royal blood, which caused his parents to become quite bitter about the whole ordeal, raising him to dislike the vampire's royal family for the start of his life. His parents eventually turned savage, consumed by their hatred of the royal family, and went wild against a town of humans, falsely believing that they would gain more power by drinking human blood. This ended up with a group of bounty hunters that were hired by the state to kill rogue humans and vampires, killing his parents and grandparents. Lyon was spared only because he was still only about five years old, too young to be set in his beliefs, so they instead took him as part of their group.
Through that, he ended up as part of that group for all of his life, up till the start of the war, travelling round to kill the vampires who got out of control killing humans, as well as the humans who turn against the peaceful vampires. All that time he learnt a wide variety of skills, between fighting with physical weapons and learning to use his magic, while all the time gaining an understanding of the world through the eyes of those he travelled with. The group he was with was constantly increasing and decreasing in numbers, as members were killed or retired, and new memebers joined. Making the most of his abilities as a vampire and with royal blood in his veins, he became one of the strongest fighters of the group, although he refused leadership of the group when offered, prefering to keep his position as the leader's right hand man instead.
When the war started, his group got caught in the middle of one of the attacks, in a village they had gone to in order to stop what was reported as a wild vampire, but instead turned out to be a whole group of vampires using the village as a base, and answering straight to the vampire lord, Elnaer von Mirai. His group was all but wiped out, and him spared only because he was a fellow vampire, the only one amongst the group at the time. Running away from those vampires at the first possible moment, he found his way to the start of the resistance and joined it, often clashing in opinions with John, particularly about concerning vampires. Even so, he managed to again make his way to the position of the group's second in command after proving himself to the resistance, even with Johndisagreeing absolutely despising and protesting against right down to the very end with that placement. With his abilities over water and ice, Lyon often also ends up stopping any major fires John sets when on the field of battle.
Personality: Lyon has a fairly realistic grasp of his own abilities and those of the members of the resistance, prefering to fight battles with a high chance of winning to those with a low chance. Having fought all his life, Lyon has a good grasp of both strategy and tactics, as well as the constant brutility that is the battlefield, and as such somewhat expects to lose some of the rebellion with each fight against the vampires. The soldiers couldn't find Ed, so they killed the townsfolk and burned the village. The priest raised Ed until he was 8. Right before the priest died, he told Ed of his origins and left him at an orphanage. Ed didn't stay at the orphanage for long. He left when he was 10 and become the apprentice of the local mage so he could learn magic. Once Ed had learned enough, he left and started traveling around learning magic from wizards and mages he came across. He drew a liking towards elemental magic, especially ice magic. Then, when he was 15, Ed came across the way of the sword. He found a master willing to teach him and quickly became proficient at it in a years time. He is able to morph the fingers on his hands into lethally sharp claws heated well beyond the melting point of steel but somehow manage to maintain solid form(magic). He is capable of growing a pair of wings which bear the same coloration of his skin and allow for flight. Finally, he has access to several dragon breath type weapons including flames, clouds of toxic gas, acid spray, and even a freezing breath.

Despite his name, Iron Dragon is not a flying lizard that breathes fire at all but rather appears to be a human man. He stands a bit taller than the average height for one of his race, and as far as muscles he's not built much more than the average swordsman would be. His skin is far from natural in color, being a pale grey that appears silver in the appropriate light. When it comes to choosing his clothing, he opts to wear a suit of segmented armor plates permanently colored black with crimson runes unrecognizable to most onlookers painted over them. When wearing this armor, he adds a helmet formed in the shape of a dragon's head with the eyes positioned in such a way as to allow him to see through them. Speaking of his face, he sports a strongly squared off jaw ending in a cleft chin. His cheeks are full and healthy and his cheek bones sit at the average height to be neither too high nor too low. The most shocking features of his face, however, are his complete lack of any facial hair and the fact that his eyes are solid globes of green, seeming to have been blown from fine glass.
Bio:
Iron Dragon was not always as he is. He was, at one time, the renowned scientist, sorcerer, and researcher on the Elvish Language Doctor Sa'lien employed by Lord Elnaer to research a form of weapon the ancient elves had created using their mastery of magic. The weapon itself was almost entirely in ruin, and little progress was made in its research until the good doctor made his way to the ruins in which the weapon had been discovered. A set of schematics and detailed instructions for the creation of the weapon were discovered and taken back to Sa'lien's lab in the vampiric capital city, and revealed the weapon to be a sort of mechanical humanoid warrior. After several years of research into the schematics, gathering the necessary resources, and the recreation of the mechanisms through which arcane energies were to be channeled outlined in the schematics for the weapon's construction Sa'lien began the process of actually producing the device. Another few years went into the construction of the device and the mysterious infinite power source, a bizarre egg-shaped green stone, which drove it and seemed to require the application of blood to the device's core. A suit of armor for the weapon to be clad in was also produced, curiously enough requiring that the helm be shaped into a dragon's head. Due to a lack of understanding of the ancient Elves, there was no thought as to any effect beyond the desired one.
Eventually, the time came for the Device to be powered up and thus Sa'lien arranged for his lord to be present when the weapon was active. As such, Sa'lien quickly completed the necessary placement of the humanoid figure with its surprisingly pale grey skin in the center of a runic circle standing alone and clad in the segmented armor which had been made for it. Things came to a head as he slashed open his palm and placed it upon the green stone in the humanoid's chest cavity where the heart would be in a human. Moments later, Sa'lien felt the life drain from his body and crumpled to the floor just as Elnaer entered his laboratory. The construct's chest cavity slowly closed and its green eyes came alight as the good doctor's blood washed across its armor and permanently stained the red runes upon it. Though he himself does not know it, Sa'lien became the being that would become Iron Dragon, his soul providing control of the construct powered by the green stone. Regardless, as the Vampire Lord entered the room he found the construct standing over Sa'lien's corpse and assumed the creation had gone out of control and killed the scientist. The creature was ordered killed on the spot, but escaped from the lab and eventually hooked up with a group of rebels in the capital who dubbed him "Iron Dragon". For several years Iron Dragon fought with these rebels, doing damage to the Vampiric war machine from the inside, putting his considerable intellect to work. However all this came to an end when a raid on the Rebel's hideout ended in Iron Dragon's capture and imprisonment by the vampires to await a decision as to his fate.
Eventually, the time came for the Device to be powered up and thus Sa'lien arranged for his lord to be present when the weapon was active. As such, Sa'lien quickly completed the necessary placement of the humanoid figure with its surprisingly pale grey skin in the center of a runic circle standing alone and clad in the segmented armor which had been made for it. Things came to a head as he slashed open his palm and placed it upon the green stone in the humanoid's chest cavity where the heart would be in a human. Moments later, Sa'lien felt the life drain from his body and crumpled to the floor just as Elnaer entered his laboratory. The construct's chest cavity slowly closed and its green eyes came alight as the good doctor's blood washed across its armor and permanently stained the red runes upon it. Though he himself does not know it, Sa'lien became the being that would become Iron Dragon, his soul providing control of the construct powered by the green stone. Regardless, as the Vampire Lord entered the room he found the construct standing over Sa'lien's corpse and assumed the creation had gone out of control and killed the scientist. The creature was ordered killed on the spot, but escaped from the lab and eventually hooked up with a group of rebels in the capital who dubbed him "Iron Dragon". For several years Iron Dragon fought with these rebels, doing damage to the Vampiric war machine from the inside, putting his considerable intellect to work. However all this came to an end when a raid on the Rebel's hideout ended in Iron Dragon's capture and imprisonment by the vampires to await a decision as to his fate.
Personality: The man likes to stay quiet and focus as much as possible on whatever task is at hand at the time. However, when it comes time for revelry, he can be loud and boisterous like no other despite his inability to become drunk or even feed on anything. Though he himself does not benefit from either side being victorious directly, he has put his support behind the Humans but could potentially be persuaded away from that path. Of course, he does not know that he used to be Doctor Sa'lien and all he knows about his life as the doctor is what he has been told about the Vampire's leader in weapons development.

Abilities: As his name suggests, Iron Dragon has several abilities which could be associated with the winged fire-breathing lizards. He is able to morph the fingers on his hands into lethally sharp claws heated well beyond the melting point of steel but somehow manage to maintain solid form(magic). He is capable of growing a pair of wings which bear the same coloration of his skin and allow for flight. Finally, he has access to several dragon breath type weapons including flames, clouds of toxic gas, acid spray, and even a freezing breath.

Although she manage to scavenge a little food and water from the land, she soon found herself dying if starvation. When she was about to die, an old hermit found her in her pitiful state and brought her back to his hut. He fed her, watered her, dressed her wounds and clothed her, bringing her back to health. Raven was grateful and asked the hermit how he managed to giver her so much when he had so little. The hermit then revealed himself to be an Elvish priest for one of the Old Gods, Daggoth. He said that all of her health came from the benevolence of the dark god. Wanting to give thanks and praise to the god who saved her, she asked the hermit to arrange a meeting with the dark god.
From the smoke of the hermit's fire, Daggoth appeared before Raven. The dark god continued to be benevolent, offering her to grant her another favor. Raven requested revenge against all of the world, which had done nothing but try to torture her. Daggoth was willing to give her the means to do so, but requested that she show her devotion by slaying the hermit. Never having killed anyone, Raven hesitated before picking up a rock and beating the old hermit to death with it. After doing so, she gained her ability to teleport.
With her new found power, she returned to the city. The city streets ran red as she killed the owner of the brothel and all of the clientele which had used her, making sure they died with terror in their eyes. After each kill, she tore out their hearts as an offering to Daggoth before flaying them and hanging their mangled bodies from the roofs of their houses. After killing them all, Daggoth offered her the chance to exact her revenge against the world be acting as the agent of chaos on his behalf. She gladly accepted the contract and gained the rest of her abilities.
At first, her resolve was strong. She sowed the seeds of discord throughout the human-vampire war on both sides. However, as the years passed, Raven found herself becoming the monster she hated when Daggoth commanded her to torture and slay children to cause anguish to their parents. Also, drawing the runes in the wrong order will cause the opposite effect on both the subject and Raven, possibly leading to death.
Eternal Life - Raven is immune to aging. In addition, when Raven dies (which happens often), she will come back to life after one hour passes at locations filled with dark energy. Now though, Shanna remains by Kaname's side, her body remade as an artificially constructed mermaid of sorts, and effectively being used to showcase Kaname's success in the fusion of human and animal.

Despite this, Kaname is not afraid to experiment on what he sees as the unknown, and is overall ill-concerned about the costs of his experimentation, just as long as it doesn't harm himself or his people or bode him enemies. Speaking of which, Kaname prefers to keep the number of enemies he has to a minimum, but at the same time, he doesn't want any particularly powerful ones on his case, and he certainly doesn't want any vampires as his enemies. Not even when one expects him to be saddened, frightened or enraged does he actually show any change of emotion. Kaname almost always carries a blunderbuss of his own, and in the odd case he doesn't, he uses his musket instead. One should know that Kaname is an outstanding marksman with his musket, being able to snipe his enemies from miles away. Whether this is because he had trained so many years fine-tuning his muskets or because he has enhanced vision is unknown. In truth, both theories are just as plausible as one another.

Bio: Previously a spy working for John Alexander, otherwise known as The Phoenix, Shanna Keynes was personally assigned to seek out the vampires, and see what their plan of attack was so the humans could counter it. However, after the end of the War, they were one of the first families to be exiled. Their hatred of humans, and their longing for human blood led them to be much too wild for the new, civilised treaty, and the members were either exiled or killed.
Only a few survived in the empire, Adrian's family being one. Previously merely a Guard - and a hunter of Humans by night - he was instantly promoted under Elnaer's regime, a popular choice due to his incredible talents and hatred/hunger for humans. He became popular with Elnaer especially, and is Elnaer's Human blood delivery man, as well as drinking partner. This has resulted in Adrian having knowledge of most of the Empire's runnings, and much influence within the army. He is also the personal 'carer' of both 'The Elf', and Elnaer's 'Dead' Brother, the young Prince.
Personality: Adrian is the epitamy of Evil Vampires, fitting the ancient stereotype almost perfectly. His cold, pale face desplays most of his personality easily. His cunning and ruthless grin puts an expression of a maniac, a cold killer who lives to torture people, directly onto his face, and yet his decisive and cool eyes betray the hidden intelligence and the dark humour he has.
He is very proud of his pure Vampiric Bloodline, one of the few left in existance, and proclaims it to go directly back to the Dark Elves, the fathers of the Vampiric race. While this is probably untrue, and would make his bloodline more pure than even the Royal Family, his bloodline is very pure and integrates with the Royal blood at some points.
He is very calculating and maniacal, able to get into the thoughts of his prisoners, steal all their secrets, and then torture them in the cruelest fashions often with just his words, which he has a natural talent for using. He is often described as 'Evil beyond Compare', even by his own colleagues, and relishes in the title, as such he has become one of Elnaer's most useful weapons and soldiers, though not trusted.
He is also fond of Human blood, even more so than Elnaer, and has been drinking it illegally for years. Bio: Feredir was born into a country at war, an average elf among a civilisation within turmoil. The entire civilisation of elves, pitted against each other. Wood, High and Dark elves, all fighting in one of the greatest wars of all history.
Feredir was the only son of a simple Wood Elf hunter and a former High Elf preistess, and as such was raised among the culture of both races, neutral in his opinion of the war. He was raised by his father to make good use of the forests, and was taught how to use nature to his advantage. This led to his major profession as a hunter, and his ability to manipulate plant life to some extent is mostly due to his father's influence. He was also taught archery by his father, and is a dead aim with a long bow.
His mother, one of the Magically blessed high elves, delivered her wisdom of the high Magicks onto her only Child, teaching him methods of manipulating nature that only one of the High Elves could achieve. This led to his talent in both hunting and Magick, and actually made him semi-reknowned through the elven lands, and as he aged to man-hood he was searched out by both the High Elf and Wood elf Armies as an Archer for them in the war against each other. Unwilling to submit to either, his home was burned and destroyed, his parents killed and the land within 100 metres was scorched, leaving him with no other choice than to run, and so he fled to an ancient mountain named Sidhion in the middle of the Daeron Forest, a great expanse of woodland spoke of as a place of Legend and mystery even in Elvish Folklore, to train and rest, waiting for a time when the war was over.
For 80 years he waited, training his mind and body, entwining himself with the magic of the forest. He spent years meditating in his cave, and spent many more practicing ancient magics once forgotten. However, with no word of a halt in the war, he began to lose hope in a time of peace, and decided that he could do nothing in the present day. As such, he prepared himself a time halting spell for himself, and placed himself in a meditative trance until the days were peaceful once again.
However, the spell went terribly wrong. Rather than the next peaceful times, it extended much further into the future, and he was seemingly unable to awaken. Millenia passed with not even a breath from him, and he was seen as a statue, another mystical item that the Elves had left behind. Stories were told in taverns of a great statue within the mountains, one that was said to awaken in man-kind's time of need, or one that held great knowledge of the past. But they were dismissed as fairy tales, for few had managed to see it.
As the war between Humans and Vampires escalated, the Forest became a valuable source of wood for the Vampire army, and despite its many dark secrets, it began to be disturbed. The vampires seemingly held no fear for ancient legends and tales, and within a few years the forest had shrunk.
On an expedition within the forest, a small scouting group came across the 'statue' of Feredir, and seeing the value and knowledge it may contain, they moved it back to the City of Nuevida for further study, where the few Vampiric mages managed to awaken Feredir. In his weakened state, he could not resist, and he was instantly suscepted to terrible torture to unlock secrets of Elven magic. He has been able to protect them so far, and while not being tortured he is caged in the dungeons along with the rest of the Nuevidian prisoners. He was recently grown friendly with Alsa Von Mira, whom he is imprisoned across from, and enjoys relaying stories from and of the Elvish times to the Vampiric prince, and hearing stories from the young boy.
Personality: Due to a life time of living in and with nature, and preserving the natural beauty of his forest, he has grown fond of peace and tranquility, and has become to view himself as a sort of protector of that peace, and a protector of nature. While this does seem to give him a self-righteous view, he is truelly rather humbled and will submit to Nature above anything.
His wisdom and intelligence is almost unmatched, especially when it comes to Nature and the ways of the world. While he has little knowledge of the Sciences Vampires have produced, he understands the ways of Magic and Natural forces better than any living being, and has knowledge on almost any living thing.
He is also a rather friendly person, an almost Uncle-like figure to any that have come close to him. He is kind and loving of any Natural thing, and it hurts him to harm any living creature. As such, he lives a strict diet that involves most Fruit, nuts, seeds and bread, and will never use living wood in a weapon. He loves to act as a teacher, and longs for a pupil to teach his knowledge to, once he escapes from the prison.

Bio: Feredir was born into a country at war, an average elf among a civilisation within turmoil. The entire civilisation of elves, pitted against each other. Wood, High and Dark elves, all fighting in one of the greatest wars of all history.
Feredir was the only son of a simple Wood Elf hunter and a former High Elf preistess, and as such was raised among the culture of both races, neutral in his opinion of the war. He was raised by his father to make good use of the forests, and was taught how to use nature to his advantage. This led to his major profession as a hunter, and his ability to manipulate plant life to some extent is mostly due to his father's influence. He was also taught archery by his father, and is a dead aim with a long bow.
His mother, one of the Magically blessed high elves, delivered her wisdom of the high Magicks onto her only Child, teaching him methods of manipulating nature that only one of the High Elves could achieve. This led to his talent in both hunting and Magick, and actually made him semi-reknowned through the elven lands, and as he aged to man-hood he was searched out by both the High Elf and Wood elf Armies as an Archer for them in the war against each other. Unwilling to submit to either, his home was burned and destroyed, his parents killed and the land within 100 metres was scorched, leaving him with no other choice than to run, and so he fled to an ancient mountain named Sidhion in the middle of the Daeron Forest, a great expanse of woodland spoke of as a place of Legend and mystery even in Elvish Folklore, to train and rest, waiting for a time when the war was over.
For 80 years he waited, training his mind and body, entwining himself with the magic of the forest. He spent years meditating in his cave, and spent many more practicing ancient magics once forgotten. However, with no word of a halt in the war, he began to lose hope in a time of peace, and decided that he could do nothing in the present day. As such, he prepared himself a time halting spell for himself, and placed himself in a meditative trance until the days were peaceful once again.
However, the spell went terribly wrong. Rather than the next peaceful times, it extended much further into the future, and he was seemingly unable to awaken. Millenia passed with not even a breath from him, and he was seen as a statue, another mystical item that the Elves had left behind. Stories were told in taverns of a great statue within the mountains, one that was said to awaken in man-kind's time of need, or one that held great knowledge of the past. But they were dismissed as fairy tales, for few had managed to see it.
As the war between Humans and Vampires escalated, the Forest became a valuable source of wood for the Vampire army, and despite its many dark secrets, it began to be disturbed. The vampires seemingly held no fear for ancient legends and tales, and within a few years the forest had shrunk.
On an expedition within the forest, a small scouting group came across the 'statue' of Feredir, and seeing the value and knowledge it may contain, they moved it back to the City of Nuevida for further study, where the few Vampiric mages managed to awaken Feredir. In his weakened state, he could not resist, and he was instantly suscepted to terrible torture to unlock secrets of Elven magic. He has been able to protect them so far, and while not being tortured he is caged in the dungeons along with the rest of the Nuevidian prisoners. He was recently grown friendly with Alsa Von Mira, whom he is imprisoned across from, and enjoys relaying stories from and of the Elvish times to the Vampiric prince, and hearing stories from the young boy.
Personality: Due to a life time of living in and with nature, and preserving the natural beauty of his forest, he has grown fond of peace and tranquility, and has become to view himself as a sort of protector of that peace, and a protector of nature. While this does seem to give him a self-righteous view, he is truelly rather humbled and will submit to Nature above anything.
His wisdom and intelligence is almost unmatched, especially when it comes to Nature and the ways of the world. While he has little knowledge of the Sciences Vampires have produced, he understands the ways of Magic and Natural forces better than any living being, and has knowledge on almost any living thing.
He is also a rather friendly person, an almost Uncle-like figure to any that have come close to him. He is kind and loving of any Natural thing, and it hurts him to harm any living creature. As such, he lives a strict diet that involves most Fruit, nuts, seeds and bread, and will never use living wood in a weapon. He loves to act as a teacher, and longs for a pupil to teach his knowledge to, once he escapes from the prison.

Luis Vernon (Piercer of the Heavens - Human/Prisoner)

Bio: Luis has always been a mercenary throughout his life, even when young. At the age of 15 he decided to leave his home, tired of all the drama that would occur within. Since he had no money or specific skill he became a mercenary. He would be hired by many people and vampires. He used to never do assassinations, only stealing, spying, etc. It was at the age of 21 that he took his first assassination mission, that is when he soon found out that this is where the money is. He realized that it was tough and that each mission required a different set of skills. So using magic he slowly found a way around that, he began to master Armor Magic. This magic gave him different armor and weapons, each coming with their own abilities. Driven by greed he slowly started to earn fame in the within the mercenaries. His greed soon started to take over his life, he could never be pleased. Constantly he would put his life in danger for material possessions.
One event changed his whole personality though, one of his assassination missions during the age of 27. The people were giving out the biggest reward he has ever seen, only to kill an old man. Luis happily accepted it, thinking that he was going to become the richest man on the land with only one kill. Once he found the old man, deep within a dark forest, he challenged him, thinking that it would make the fight more fair for the old man if he didn't do any sneak attacks. The dragged on for hours, with the old man being the victor. Luis had used every armor and weapon he had, but none of them were enough. In the end Luis laid on his back on the floor, the old mans hands to Luis' throat. "It's time to change." the old man spoke for the first time during the battle. "Greed has consumed you; leaving only specs of the real you. I could not take it anymore, I couldn't see you hurting yourself anymore. I had to put a stop to it, so please... it's time to help. No longer will you fight for your own needs. Fight for the needs of every other living being on earth. Do whats best for them." With that the old man began to walk away. At that moment light managed to break through the forest hitting the old man. Luis swore that he saw what looked like wings of a bird attached to the old mans back, along with a ring floating above his head. Luis couldn't believe it, but didn't have time to think as he blacked out soon after.
He awoke hours later, in the middle of the night. He was still on the floor, but all his wounds were gone. He didn't feel any pain at all. Almost as if it didn't happen. He was still disoriented as he tried to walk back home, but instead stumbled across an open field littered with glowing green stones. The field was 10 ft in diameter, and only a few feet away from the battle cite. Luis again collapsed by the stones. He awoke the next morning feeling like a new man. From then on he began to help not only people, but anything that needed his help, even vampires. To this day he doesn't know why he does this, it just feels right to him. With the war going out he decided that he would try to bring peace to the world again. So one day he tried to get a meeting with Elnaer von Mira, to tell him to stop the war. Only to be thrown into prison without a second thought. There he made friend with prisoners, including Alsa von Mira and Feredir Beriadon. He still wants to bring piece to the world and has told both of them that, but he just can't escape as of now.
Personality: As of now Luis is no longer the heartless mercenary that he once was. Now he cares about any being of the earth, whether human, vampire, or animal. Whenever he eats he pays respect to whatever needed to be killed in order for him to get the food. He prefers to settle thing by talking, but that doesn't mean he is afraid to fight. He also prefers not to kill, but will do it if necessary. (if I need more personality tell me, its just I can't think of anything else right now, but this should give you the basic idea of his personality.)

Each armor/weapon combo comes with its own set of abilities such as flight, superstrenght, etc. Each armor-weapon usually only comes with one ability. An example would be his Crow Armor(most commonly used). Wings would appear on his back(matchin that of a crows just in the size ratio for a human) and feathers(hard as steel) would form around his body(except head) forming the armor. He would have what looks like a crows head as a helmet(Top beak would point forward around 1.5 ft and there is no bottom beak. This makes his face not covered). Two crow heads(the size of a soccerball, without beak) would appear on his hands. The beaks would be 2 ft. in lenght, that would act as blades.

His parents settled into a small village that welcomed everyone, be they Human or Vampire. For the next 16 years he was raised under the careful supervision of his father. His father was, before he fled to the north with his mother, a knight in the Royal Guard of the Vampire king. He was brought up with all the philosophical, and musical, teachings that were taught to his father before he joined the Royal Guard. Once the philosophy and music classes were done his father would take him out to train with a sword for the next five hours. His mother, the wonderful woman, was a priestess in a temple before she fled. She did her best to teach him all the magic that she could but, being a half vampire, he was never very good at it. One magic he became very adept at was healing magic. He became so good at it that by the age of 14 people in the village were coming to him to heal their injuries. But sadly nothing stayed the same. When he hit his 20th birthday a missive came to his father from the King telling him it was time for war against all humans. As a sense of duty he went back to the capital city but was kill when he got there for marrying and having a child with a human woman. Now torn between duty to his country and a thirst for vengeance he is traveling to the Capital city, to pledge his alegence to the new king, after he kills the current one.
Personality: Having a split mind on the issue he is often giving conflicting positions on where he stands. He will say that he stands with the humans but also says that stands with the vampires. Having this stand makes it hard to judge where his heart truly lies which in turn makes him not trusted by either side. He will fight for anyone who he sees as having a just cause but will, if the mood suits him, leave that fight and go to another. This often leads to him getting a bad name. Despite his good intentions people don't often see him as a truly good, or truly evil person. So he is often left balancing between the two worlds and will quite frequently speak to himself when he thinks he is alone in an attempt to make sense of his own morals.

They had all learned to take care of themselves at a young age, and watched out for one another.
At the age of 10 she was on her own and looking for work. Quentin worked a number of odd jobs doing whatever was necessary. Bar tending, blacksmith, tour guiding, she even briefly spent some time as a thief and an even briefer time as a street wench.
Eventually at the age of 19 she chose a life of being a mercenary and, using a lifetime of skills she had gathered she works for whoever pays her the most.

This is a remake of a roleplay I created a while ago, and it unfortunately died. Hopefully, this time will be different.
