1984. A team of seven computer experts inadvertently create artificial, virtual life, and an entirely new world for them to inhabit. To regulate these creatures, they utilize a program, "Reaper", to purge the system whenever the life forms grow too numerous. Their project is abandoned, and both the Digital World and its dormant sentinel are left alone to grow..

2004. A sudden change in the Digital World results in an intersection with the Human World. The life forms within, called "Digimon", are able to interact with toys made for the virtual life forms, and grant children and young adults the power to become Tamers. However, this comes at a terrible price when a group of Tamers from Shinjuku in Japan awaken the slumbering "Reaper", who evolves and changes as it invades the Human World in what is called the Reaper War. Both the humans and the Digimon are able to repel the all-consuming program, but at a terrible cost. The breaches between worlds are sealed through Operation: Doodlebug, and while the Human World rebuilds their city centers and technological infrastructure, the Digital World has been ravaged and torn apart.

2014. Digimon and humans now live in a tenuous co-existence. The United Nations, having been granted much greater power during the aftermath of the Reaper War, directs the Allied Task Force for the Lawful Administration of Sentients, which serves to monitor and regulate travel between the Human and Digital Worlds, respond to and eliminate any Digimon-based threats, and maintain order amongst the growing Tamer subculture. The Tamers mostly consider the Task Force, abbreviated to "ATLAS" in most circles, as a nuisance, save for some Tamers that are legally registered under ATLAS' umbrella.

However, Bio-Emergence is now a global phenomenon, mostly centered around the major telecommunications hubs of the world, and not all Digimon are willing to come quietly. ATLAS has recruited Tamers of their own, as well as developed programs similar to Yuggoth and Juggernaut to deal with Digimon in a manner that will not destroy them, but they encounter opposition from Tamers who, like their heroes from a decade ago, try to take matters into their own hands.

To make matters worse, there are even a small percentage of Tamers who are hostile and malicious, either through their own twisted worldview or from the machinations of their Digimon, and seek to cause chaos and havoc through physical and cyberspace terrorism. This has placed a social stigma on Tamers, with many average citizens believing Tamers that aren't registered and monitored by ATLAS to be potential hackers and terrorists. This has allowed the Tamer subculture to adopt some terminology used for hackers, such as the classification of the three distinct groups of Tamers.

Those enrolled with ATLAS to be monitored and aided are "White Hats", and are seen by the unregistered Tamers, the "Grey Hats", as sellouts and stooges, even though most "White Hats" are regular people who see their Digimon as companions, pets, and friends, and don't want to fight other Digimon if they don't have to. The "Grey Hats" make up the majority of Tamers, being composed of mostly children and teenagers. They idolize the Old Guard, the group of Tamers who defeated the D-Reaper, and participate in vigilante activities in their areas, underground Digimon fighting, and online discussions on message boards about Digimon. The malevolent Tamers, the very small percentage of the Tamer population, are labeled as "Black Hats", though some are simply morally and ethically ambiguous. For the most part, this small pool is made up of psychos and criminals, but there are also mercenaries who use Digimon as partners and tools in battle. The main line drawn for a "Black Hat" is using a Digimon to fight beings other than Digimon with the intent to kill.

Now, events are converging in Shinjuku, the Tamer capital of the world. Tokyo, especially the Shinjuku district, as experienced a renaissance of sorts as Tamers move to what is considered to be their Mecca. Here, the first Bio-Emergences occurred. Here, the D-Reaper was reduced to its basic components. Here, the Old Guard live out their lives. And here, ATLAS has their Pacific HQ, right where HYPNOS' old offices used to be. But now, a new corporation that has been on the rise for the past few years, Dii Consentes, LLC, is moving into town. Bio-Emergence rates are starting to increase. And rumors are circulating that a new group of Digimon are trying to usurp the Sovereigns, and might even try to take over the Human World as well. A storm is brewing, one that will spell the fates of two worlds...
You play as a Tamer and/or a Digimon in the Human World 10 years after the events of Digimon Tamers. You can be aligned with ATLAS, the organization that protects the average citizen from the Tamer and Digimon threat, be an independent Grey Hat or White Hat, form a group with other Grey Hats, be a Black Hat ready to cause trouble, or play a Digimon surviving in a new, but safe, world. To the Digimon of the war-torn Digital World, the Human World is a paradise where Digimon are free to do whatever they wish. However, the human public believes Digimon and Tamers to be malicious and bent on causing more destruction and chaos. Being a Tamer carries a bit of social stigma to it. White Hats are more tolerated by the public, but are more restricted in what they can do, unless they work for ATLAS, and are degraded by Grey Hats. Conversely, Grey Hats are, in the public's eyes, potential terrorists, but many of them mean no harm, but don't want to be tied down by being registered. But the Black Hats are the real cause of the stigma, being mercenaries, criminals, and psychopaths who use and abuse their partners. Unfortunately, in Shinjuku, something is starting up again, as, on the other side of the divide between worlds, the Sovereigns are losing power and territory to a new force: the Olympos XII.

● 1984: The Monster Makers, a septet of programmers, gather together in college to try and create a new form of program, and succeed, creating the first virtual life-forms, "Digimon", and the space they inhabit, the "Digital World". The group utilizes a military-grade program called "Reaper" to erase all Digimon when they reach a certain threshold of population and sophistication, to prevent the small data storage from overloading.

● 1986: The Monster Makers are forced to go their separate ways when funding for their experiments runs out, though one of the members, Gorou Mizuno, carried on in secret, watching the Digital World evolve and grow exponentially.

● 1986-1993: During this period, as the Digital World explodes outwards, and allows for more sophisticated life, the "Reaper" program is made dormant, its parameters unchanged from the original programming, while the Digital World expands far past expected predictions by piggybacking off of the early Internet.

● 1993: Gorou Mizuno is placed in a semi-comatose state during a traffic accident, but is able to connect to the Digital World through his medical equipment, allowing for him to oversee his creations on a personal level, while also traveling back to the Real World for limited interactions.

● 1999: Thanks to Mizuno's influences in the Real World, Digimon is licensed by Bandai and Toei, with a pair of anime serieses, a card game, and a bunch of popular video games catapulting the franchise into becoming Japan's latest fad, with plans to market the franchise overseas.

● 2002: The Digital World has grown to immense levels, allowing for Digimon to experience short, powerful bursts of evolution, called "Digivolution". Meanwhile, Digimon have figured out how to manifest themselves in the Real World thanks to the increased electronic traffic better integrating the fabric of the Digital World with the Real World. By taking advantage of key nodes, the Digimon can compile their data into protein chains, effectively printing themselves into reality. To deal with this, HYPNOS, a SIGINT branch utilized by Japan, diverts resources to combat the organisms, dubbed "Wild Ones".

● 2003: The repeated Digivolutions threaten to re-awaken the dormant "Reaper", which has also been growing in the substrata of the Digital World. The Sovereigns, a quintet of powerful Digimon evolved from some of the first Digimon to have been created, enact a plan with Mizuno to try and control Digivolution by storing the algorithm in a new Digimon, Calumon. This triggers additional migrations by Digimon to the Real World as they try and unlock the power they once had.

● Spring 2004: A young fan of Digimon, Takato Matsuki, discovers a strange Blue Card that transforms his Digimon CCG card reader into a Digivice called a D-Power, and manifests one of his fan drawings as his own Digimon. Joined by Rika Nonaka and Renamon, as well as Henry Wong and Terriermon, Takato ventures to the Digital World to rescue Calumon, and inadvertently leads the awakened Reaper to the Real World.

● Summer 2004: The Reaper War. The D-Reaper attacks major technological hubs across the planet, wreaking untold havoc and claiming millions of lives. In Shinjuku, the main Kernel of the D-Reaper is successfully breached, and a modified HYPNOS program renders the D-Reaper harmless, but at a terrible cost as urban infrastructure in key cities in the Real World has been annihilated, and the Digital World, now sealed off from the Real World, is ravaged.

● Fall 2004: In America, President Bush is unable to properly respond to the chaos on American soil, leaving millions of refugees in the dark. Presidential Candidate John Kerry steps in, campaigning on a platform of promising to do what needs to be done to fix the nation. Politicians across the United States and around the world follow suit.

● Winter 2004-2005: Despite Bush declaring martial law and attempting to stop voters from casting their ballots on Election Day, Kerry wins by a landslide not seen since the 1984 Presidential election, though, due to attempted mismanagement by the Bush Administration, the tally is not properly counted until a week before Kerry was to be sworn in. Despite carrying two-thirds of the Electoral College, Kerry possesses 87% of the popular vote, trouncing Bush, who is forced to be sedated by Colin Powell and airlifted. Kerry's first act is to ask the overwhelmingly Democratic Congress for emergency powers to fix the nation, which they accept.

● 2005: Across the world, reconstruction efforts are underway. The United States withdraws nonessential personnel overseas to help quell the chaos in the affected cities, the CIA assassinating Saddam Hussein in a false flag operation to relieve pressure in Iraq. By the end of his first year back in office, Kerry has brought his country back from the brink and the economic crash following the Reaper War, and begins to send aid to other nations. However, Bio-Emergences have sprung back in full force, this time all over the world, centered around major telecommunications hubs.

● 2006: The G8 Summit in Russia leads to the additions of Germany and Japan to the UN Security Council, and the creation of the United Nations Allied Task Force for the Lawful Administration of Sentients, hereby known as ATLAS, from several SIGINT assets, such as HYPNOS. A resolution is passed for major countries to declare Digimon as endangered species, thereby making it illegal to possess one without a license. ATLAS goes to work taking care of renegade Tamers and Digimon alike.

● 2007: President Kerry announces that he does not intend to run for a second term, prompting a massive election craze in America. Kerry also stands down with the emergency powers, focusing instead on ensuring the survivability of his nation. On the Internet, underground Tamer organizations gain traction as Tokyo experiences a sort of renaissance due to the influx of Tamers into the city.

● 2008: Dii Consentes, LLC, enters the world stage as the new parent company of several ISPs and booming dotcoms. United States Senator Barack Obama is elected the 46th President of the United States.

● 2011: Hoge Nantoka is elected in the Tokyo Gubernatorial Elections, the first major politician to be a Tamer. Though registered as a White Hat, he still looks out for other Tamers, and declares Tokyo a Special Economic Zone. The rest of Japan's government has mixed opinions on this.

● 2013: Hoge Nantoka is assassinated, prompting a special election to find a replacement. Takato Matsuki, Rika Nonaka, and Henry Wong, known to Tamers as the "Old Guard", ride with the funeral procession. The Old Guard vanishes shortly after.

● 2014: ATLAS reports suggest that there are over a million Digimon that have successfully transitioned to the Real World, and are living more or less comfortably. The same report states that approximately half of those Digimon belong to the estimated 300,000 Tamers in the world, based on the figures that a third of all Tamers are registered. ATLAS also reports their 100,000th successful registration of a Tamer and their partner. These demographics show that 60% of all Tamers live within 15 miles of a major city center, and, of all of the cities in the world, Tokyo boasts 5% of the world's Tamers, with a fifth of those living in the vicinity of Shinjuku and Akibahara.

A "Tamer" is the generic term for people partnered to Digimon who live out their lives with their companions, contrasting with DigiDestined, a term for people who are chosen for a special mission, and use Digimon to help accomplish that mission. A Tamer is chosen through the appearance and usage of a "Blue Card", and the acquisition of a D-Power and a Digimon partner. Like their "fictional" DigiDestined counterparts, a Tamer and their Digimon possess a strong bond and work together to accomplish their goals. However, unlike the DigiDestined, Tamers do not have special crests, Digi-Eggs, or are fated to accomplish a specific task. Instead, Tamers may Digi-Modify their Digimon using cards from the Digimon Card Game, use Blue Cards to evolve their Digimon, and own more than one partner Digimon. However, as the bond between human and Digimon grows, the human can receive pain if their partner has been evolved for too long. Tamers have grown to become a part of a global subculture, mainly conducted through the Internet, but expressed mostly in Tokyo, though many non-Tamers see Tamers as potential terrorists and hackers.

A Blue Card contains an algorithm that was created by Gorou Mizuno. It exists to create digital connections and does so in any way possible, much like the Digi-Gnomes. The Blue Cards use emotions and faith to make ideas real, and as a result, any card can be transformed into a Blue Card. Also, due to this nature, it can be used in many different ways. The swipe of a Blue Card into a card scanner or a similar card reading device can transform the device into a D-Power, linking a human together with a Digimon as partner and Tamer. When this happens, a Digimon in the Digital World will be brought across the dimensions and bio-emerge the Real World. However, the main purpose of a Blue Card is that swiping it while in battle can potentially trigger Digivolution if the bond between partners is strong enough. A Blue Card can also not be lost once it has been received by a Tamer. It will reappear in a Tamer's pocket once the Blue Card and the Tamer are separated by a certain amount of distance.

Not to be confused with Bio-Merging, Bio-Emergence is the phenomenon of a virtualized entity made up of data breaking the barrier between the computerized Digital World and the Real World and manifesting itself in the latter. The process is still being studied today, but the gist is that it involves the data of a Digmon being encoded into proteins and cell systems by using spare elements in the surroundings. This causes a sort of ecotone to be formed in the Real World, allowing for the Bio-Emerged Digimon to adjust to their new state. This usually manifests as abnormal, bizarrely concentrated, and very brief weather patterns, such as a spherical fog bank covering a block of a city. Inside of these zones, electronics refuse to work properly, save for D-Powers, which are designed to resist and function in this state. The ecotone will disperse once the Digimon is fully adjusted, which usually occurs within a couple of hours, but the process is agonizing, and it is very rare for a Digimon to not be enraged from the pain, and attack anything moving within the ecotone. Tamers, no matter their allegiance, find fighting Bio-Emerged Digimon to be a great way of gaining experience, as these Digimon are generally weaker and less coherent while in the adjustment phase.

The United Nations' Allied Task Force for the Legal Administration of Sentients, officially shortened to "UNATFLAS", but pretty much everyone, even members of the force, refers to them by the much less unwieldy acronym of "ATLAS". Primarily made up of various intelligence outfits working with United Nations Peacekeeping forces, and assets borrowed from the Security Council nations, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, China, and Russia, ATLAS' mission is to contain Bio-Emergences, enforce the registration of Tamers and Digimon, monitor the growing numbers of Digimon and Tamers across the globe, and to provide aid to the Digital World. It accomplishes this by recruiting Tamers from within those registered in its system, promising greater freedom and the ability to make a difference in exchange for joining the force. Many Grey Hat Tamers dislike ATLAS for restricting their activities, but begrudgingly respect the fact that they primarily focus on Black Hat Tamers, who are actual threats. Furthermore, more experienced members of ATLAS, as well as Tamers working for ATLAS, understand that not all Tamers are bad, and many just want to live out their lives or have fun.

The Tamer subculture has borrowed several terms from hacking, but one of the most important is the "hat" system, a reference to Westerns having the villains all wear black hats, while the heroes have white hats. The classifications are split up as follows:
A Tamer who has willingly submitted to ATLAS and had a subcutaneous tracking chip implanted into themselves and their Digimon, as well as register themselves and their Digimon legally. Many of these Tamers treat their partners as friends or pets, and do not want to get involved in any other activities. The chip allows for ATLAS to monitor their locations, and assist if needed. White Hats are generally part of an older demographic than Grey Hats, and use their maturity and intelligence to look to ATLAS for help, instead of forming groups and conducting illegal activities. Grey Hats dislike White Hats, seeing them as sellouts and traitors. White Hats make up approximately 33% of the Tamer population.

A Tamer that remains unregistered and does not have a tracking chip. Grey Hats are the majority of all Tamers, despite ATLAS' efforts. Many of them are kids and teenagers who feel the need to have a secret, not caring that, due to Digimon technically being classified as an endangered species, they are illegal to own unless one has a license. They generally form groups of similar Tamers to protect their neighborhoods and towns from Bio-Emergences, adding vigilantism to their various crimes, but many understand that they are not criminals, and do not engage in standard criminal activity. The bonds between Grey Hats and their Digimon tend to be some of the strongest. Grey Hats are generally the youngest of the groups, mostly composed of children. They make up approximately 66% of the Tamer population.

A Tamer that is either formerly registered in the ATLAS database, but is on the lam, or is actively committing criminal acts with their Digimon partners. Many are just psychopaths that happened, by sheer luck, to get their very own Digimon. Black Hats usually see ATLAS as an oppressive multinational force, White Hats are pansies, and Grey Hats as ignorant twerps. They also treat their partners poorly, usually as tools, weapons, slaves, or below human. They are the most dangerous of the groups, and are also usually teenagers and young adults with poor backgrounds, or fragile psyches, though a few are actual criminals and mercenaries. They make up less than 1% of the Tamer population.

A Tamer that is working for ATLAS as either a consultant or an actual member, though the term can refer to anyone in ATLAS, regardless of being a Tamer or not. This is a relatively new term as more White Hats become a part of ATLAS. Since being able to be a part of a nation's armed services is part of the requirements for joining ATLAS, these tend to be some of the oldest Tamers. There are only a handful of Blue Hat Tamers, as many of them command larger numbers of Digimon than usual, to bolster ATLAS' capabilities.
0. All YCM Forum Rules apply.
1. I (and any future co-host) get the final say in decisions, though I am willing to talk any issues out.
2. While not a rule, we have a Skype chat that allows for a much quicker response to questions. I would suggest joining in.
3. Multiple characters are highly recommended. Also, you can play as Digimon not attached to a Tamer, or a Tamer with multiple Digimon.
4. The following Digimon are not allowed: Any Rookie from Tamers and their evolutions owned by a character, any Ultimates or Megas from Adventures 1 and 2 owned by a Digidestined, any Royal Knight or Celestial Digimon and their pre-evolutions, and any "artificial" Digimon such as Gizumon or Snatchmon. Furthermore, Olympos XII cannot be attached to a Tamer.
5. As for constructing your Digimon's evolutionary line, Armors are treated as Champions, and Spirit Digimon are allowed as Digimon separate from their Tamers, with the Human Spirits being Champions, Beast Spirits being Ultimates, and Hybrids being Megas. Xros Wars-original Digimon will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Furthermore, because Digivolution lines can be rather tricky, as long as you believe you can effectively justify it, and you get approval, you are free to make your own. Custom Digimon are also encouraged.
6. Regarding Digivolution, all characters start off with the ability to reach Champion. Ultimate and Mega can be unlocked later on on a case-by-case basis. There are two ways of getting to Mega when it is unlocked: Mega Digivolution from Ultimate (the long way) or Warp Digivolution from Rookie via Bio-Merging (the short way). If you have multiple Digimon, you can have 1 partner Digimon to Bio-Merge with maximum, and stick with that partner.
7. It's best to plan any fights you might have, so it's not just two people trying to one-up each other. Digi-Modify attacks also take the amount of energy they would for their original versions. So if a Tinkermon was Digi-Modified with an Angewomon card and used Heaven's Charm, the Tinkermon would most likely be out of commission for the rest of the day.
8. Finally, Tamers generally get their partners when they are children or teenagers, and Tamers have only been around for a little less than a decade. Therefore, it is difficult for there to be any Tamers over 25, and impossible for there to be any that are at least 30 years old.
9. Please remove any parantheses from the applications.

10. Have fun!

Name: Lewis "Bogey" Delaney
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Black Hat
Appearance:

Lewis is a Caucasian male in his prime, at least six feet tall with short brown hair, green eyes, and a clean-shaven face, allowing him to appear rather normal. He usually wears a businessman's outfit, with a black jacket with two gold buttons, a pair of dark-grey trousers, gold cuff links, a silver watch, a red tie, a black vest over a white business shirt, a black belt with a silver link, a pair of black leather shoes, and a pair of polarized sunglasses. He normally carriers a nondescript black briefcase and a pair of black gloves when on a job, and when traveling, has a black suitcase and duffel bag. His jacket, tie, pants, and vest are reversible, becoming brown, blue, and tan, respectively. Combined with a special set of hair gels that can temporarily give him different hair colors, a set of contacts, and a spare pair of shoes, and Lewis can easily look like a different person.

Personality: Lewis is a man that believes that the ends justify the means, and he lives his life to that simple credo. He hacks bank accounts using a spoof signal when he passes by people, taking their personal information from their smartphones and credit cards. He uses these funds to fuel his one-man crusade against Tamers having any peace, and to try and foster fear against them. And to do this, he is willing to take jobs that most mercenaries or hitmen wouldn't, because their targets would be Tamers. Lewis is very calm under pressure, able to keep a clear mind and work through the problem systematically and with composure. He has also shown himself to be quite athletic, capable of performing parkour to escape police, and sprint with speed and agility. His physical strength is also demonstrated when chasing down criminals and silencing them with his telescopic baton. With sharp wits and a body ready for action, it's no wonder he is the Black Hats that other Black Hats fear.
Biography: Lewis should not be alive. Ten years ago, his entire family was killed when the skyscraper they were living in collapsed from the invading D-Reaper, but he somehow survived the destruction, shielded by his mother and father. And yet, his young, teenage mind couldn't entirely process what had happened. He used the life insurance and his inheritance left by them to travel to Shinjuku and try to understand what had happened. He enrolled in a prestigious high school and started to learn about Digimon and Tamers, attempting to piece together what had taken everything from him. It wasn't until a few years later that he came to the conclusion that there was no way to exact revenge against the D-Reaper. The D-Reaper was gone, and so was his chance to find some closure.
It was then, as he passed by a certain portal to the Digital World, that he was approached by an entire host of Digimon, seeking to use him and his depressed nature to reach their own petty goals. However, Lewis instead sought out a being that had barely made the journey, a battered old digital motorcycle that had been destroyed and remade so many times that its data was now corrupted. But it was still filled with so much hate and malice. The entity, Behemoth, offered a Faustian deal to Lewis. In exchange for Lewis making Behemoth into his partner, using the Blue Card to reformat the program, Behemoth would serve as Lewis' tool and help him find a way to inflict his own misery and depression on others. Lewis accepted, Behemoth reverting into a Digi-Egg, which Lewis spirited away before the newly-formed ATLAS could close in. Now, it's almost a decade later, and Lewis, with his skills and with the help of his partner Adrastimon, is the bane of the Tamer subculture. And he's back in Shinjuku for another job.
D-Power: Lewis' D-Power is gunmetal grey with rust-colored siding and a blood-red strap, but attached to a special Rapid Attachment, which resembles an oversized pistol without a barrel. Instead, the D-Power is loaded into the middle, with an assortment of cards in between two auto-shufflers. By cycling through the cards, Lewis can quickly Digi-Modify much faster than by hand. This lets him react quickly with cards such as Control Spire that can shut down his opponents before they can stop him.
Name: Adrastimon
Level: Ultimate
Type: Demon Man Digimon
Family: Nightmare Soldiers/Metal Empire
Appearance: At first glance, Adrastimon just appears to be a strange bladed motorcycle with a shiny black body, sharp silver blades jutting out from some sections, chrome detailing and piping, a red glass plate over her control, leather seating, and a pair of thick double tires at each end with hubcaps possessing blood-red paint in the design of a stylized skull, but she is more than a hybrid of American and Japanese motorcycles. Her true form is a 10-foot-tall demonic knight covered in carbon fiber and metal. Two of her wheels form the joints for her bladed wings, which are actually storage racks for various blades she uses in battle. Her unarmored segments are made from chrome piping and engine segments, her leather "seat" serving as the main part of her stomach area. The other two wheels are where her feet would be, put in place by spiky heels and arching brake-like cloven sections, unless Adrastimon needs to maneuver. Her slender arms end in sharp red claws, while a whip-like tail made of spiked wire slinks from her rear plating to help balance. She can use this tail to attach blades onto the end, and can even take off the tail to use as a whip. Finally, her chest section is primarily made up of her vehicle state's windshield and engine block, with part of the windshield making a sharp front addition to her armor. Her head possesses two blade-like horns formed from her handlebars with a red visor, part of her windshield, attached to them. These horns reach down to her head, where blood-red hair flows out from behind the knight-like helmet and drapes over a closed metallic mouth section. This section can retreat back to show the lower half of a liquid chrome face, complete with ruby-red lips, and eyes can be seen from behind the visor.
Personality: Adrastimon is a creature of unrelenting fury, preferring to strike hard and fast and use every opening to her advantage. Every move she makes is fluid and calculated, every spin of her blades meant to be one step in an elegant and visceral dance. Her own actions reflect this, making sure every word counts and not wasting anything on those that do not deserve it. She rarely talks with other Digimon, mainly because she fights them so much, and finds meaningful discussions irrelevant. However, she does not believe she is a tool, but that she and Lewis have an agreement as equals, which is something Lewis shares.
Biography: Adrastimon was reformatted from Behemoth, the demonic motorcycle that was infamously utilized by Beelzemon. For countless cycles, the bestial bike terrorized the Digital World, attacking villages and corrupting Digimon with its rage and hatred. It wasn't until he encountered Beelzemon that he found some semblance of a partnership, as Beelzemon was the only creature it had met with hatred strong enough to match Behemoth's. For a time, the two worked together, despite Behemoth being seemingly destroyed multiple times. However, each reformatting led to imperfections in Behemoth's code, until the bike was barely able to function. It was then that it met Lewis, who possessed a similar potential to hate, and allowed for him to reformat Behemoth into a Digi-Egg, which eventually became Adrastimon.
Attacks:
Adrastimon spins up her wheels before launching at her opponent at high speeds, then sideswipes them with her blades. She can execute this in motorcycle form or humanoid form.

Adrastimon turns invisible and sneaks up on her opponent before stabbing them in the back. She can execute this in motorcycle form or humanoid form. She can also have this apply to her partner if he is riding her in motorcycle form.

Adrastimon withdraws Alecto, a pair of rapiers, from her wings and begins to execute a graceful series of thrusts and slashes to maneuver her opponent into a vulnerable position before slicing them into ribbons. She can only do this while in humanoid form.

Adrastimon withdraws Megaera, a pair of boomerang-shaped sabers with handles near each end, from her wings and starts to quickly maneuver about the battlefield, tossing and richochetting her sabers around to take care of aerial targets or enemies at long range. She can only do this while in humanoid form.

Adrastimon withdraws Tisiphone, a claymore composed of two smaller swords, from her wings, and holds it with one hand near the tip, and the other on the hilt, before spinning and gaining momentum, extending the blade out bit by bit before performing a series of frenzied swings with the large blade to utterly destroy what is in her way at the moment. She can only do this while in humanoid form.

How much knowledge do I need to have about Digimon? I watched the original Digimon series, as well as Tamers, but that has been several years ago. Will a database be provided to jog my memory a bit? Also, are we allowed to use custom digimon or do they have to have appeared in the series?

Sorry for all the questions :P

<Patamon Reserved?>

I'm not sure about Patamon. One of the things that irked me about Data Squad was the recycling of Agumon and just giving him a slightly different evolution chain.

However, recent Digimon serieses have shown that the alternate Armor Evolutions can be reached normally by Rooks without needing the Digi-Eggs. So I am willing to allow the usage of pre-Tamers Rookies on the condition they have an alternate AND UNIQUE Digivolution path that makes sense.
For example, having Salamon go to Rabbitmon, then Kyukimon, then Magnadramon. Kyukimon is the odd one out of the chain, but it is pink, and it could be seen as an impure evolution, a la SkullGreymon, and have its Tamer control the berserking Kyukimon until it learns to control its power, allowing for Magnadramon.

You should be fine. I do plan on including a database that not only has Tamers terminology, both canon and for this RP, but also a timeline of the events so far. And yes, custom Digimon and Digimon from across the franchise are allowed, with the limitations as follows:

1. Any customs have to be approved by me or whomever co-GMs.

2. Any Rookie used by a Digidestined in Adventure or Adventure 02 is not allowed unless given an alternate evolution path, such as with an Armor evolution, which are treated as Champions.
3. Any Rookie used by a Tamer from the show is not allowed.

4. No Digimon that evolve into a Demon Lord, a Royal Knight, an Olympos XII, or a Celestial Digimon, unless either given an alternate path that does not evolve it into that Digimon, or justified on a case-by-case basis.
5. Olympos XII may be used, but they do not have Tamers.
If I missed something, or something is unclear, let me know.

Reserved:
Patamon > Piddomon > MagnaAngemon > Dominimon(Bio-Merge)

Piddomon and Dominimon are basically purple clothed Angemon and Purple armored Seraphimon. Dominimon is a little more different from Seraphimon in that his armor is a little different and his only attack listed is "Final Excalibur" Where his green sword(much like MagnaAngemon's) comes out of his left forearm. I may have to imagine a few more attacks for him because MagnaAngemon has like three special attacks that are exceedingly cool thar dont involve his sword coming out because it is already out.

My character will start White hat, but given Dan's recent exposure on ATLAS's general being, My character Probably wont be a white hat for the duration.
Name: Hazuki Furuya
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Allegiance: [acronym="Hazuki used to be a Grey Hat, but changed diplomacy once she realized that what she was doing was technically illegal"]Black Hats[/acronym]
365ab6f5c97114e4abb555d64e24101b.jpeg?11

Although she's yet to fully grow, Hazuki currently stands at a solid 5' 0", and has a BWH ratio of 20-20-28. She wears a pale pink ribbon around her neck, similar to the one(s) she tries to place on Shogi, except longer for obvious reasons. Hazuki wields her D-Power in her left hand, which implies that she's right-handed.
Personality: If there were ever a couple of words that would describe Hazuki's personality perfectly, those words would be "ultimate b****". All the crimes that Hazuki has committed over the past couple of years have been in spite towards society, and in all honesty, Hazuki couldn't care less about other peoples' sufferings.
Biography:
D-Power: Hazuki's D-Power has a pink base, but it has a black strap and buttons, and its screen is an ocean blue
Partner: Shogi (PawnChessmon (Black))
3PlD1Dt.png
Name: Shogi
Species: PawnChessmon (Black)
Level: Rookie
Attribute: Virus
Type: Puppet
Family: Metal Empire
PawnChessmonBlack.jpg
Shogi appears as seen above, only with a pale pink ribbon around its neck, much to his disliking. As such, Shogi will try to take it off when Hazuki isn't looking, often to no avail. However, even if he succeeds, Hazuki will either replace the ribbon or put it back on Shogi. It should be noted that Shogi has a clearly masculine voice, that only gets gruffer as KnightChessmon or RookChessmon. The only time this changes is when he and Hazuki Bio-Merge into QueenChessmon. As QueenChessmon, Hazuki does the vast majority of the talking, with Shogi only chiming in as well during attack declaration, or when Hazuki wants to emphasize a point or sound more intimidating.
Personality: Like the vast majority of Digimon that have been tamed by Black Hats, Shogi has to put up with his fair share of crap from Hazuki, but he does have the courage to argue with her, which he does... a lot. Most of the two's arguments are over petty things however, and Shogi is mostly obedient as a whole. There are a few issues here and there though. Shogi has a relatively strong conscience despite being of the Virus attribute, although his loyalty to Hazuki does take precedence over this, leaving him to do things that he's not proud of. On top of that, unlike the Black Hats or any of their partner Digimon, Shogi himself bears no ill will towards ATLAS or any of the White, Gray or Blue Hats, and is actually quite friendly towards those that're unaware of everything that he's done in Hazuki's name. Shogi often holds back when ordered to attack those that have nothing to do with Hazuki's ultimate goal, and only gives it his all when things start get personal. Shogi can't really comprehend why this one epiphany that Hazuki had warrants this massive overhaul of her personality in her mind, and wishes she would revert back to her old self. But in the end, this prayer falls on deaf ears, and all Shogi can really do is try to maintain Hazuki's friendship and trust... which he feels is waning by the second.
Biography: On a long winter night, the PawnChessmon that would later be dubbed Shogi had Bio-Emerged into the Real World, specially at a park in Akibahara. Curiously, Shogi examined all the things in the park, and set off to explore the rest of this new world, when all of a sudden, he was approached by a thug, who held him by the neck, held a gun to his forehead and demanded money from him. However, Shogi retaliated with his faithful Pawn Spear attack on the thug's gun arm, drawing enough blood for him to shout in pain and retreat to a hospital. What Shogi didn't realize was that that attack drew the attention of ATLAS, whose officers and their Digimon had surrounded Shogi without warning. Ordinarily Shogi would've stood his ground, but recognizing the species of some of those ATLAS aligned Digimon and knowing that he wouldn't stand a chance against any of such species, he did the more cowardly thing and ran for his life. The pursuit continued for some time, and only stopped when Shogi held the girl that would be her Tamer, Hazuki Furuya, at spear-point. It was a lucky guess that Hazuki was the younger sister of Yumako Furuya, the commander of the squad of officers at the time, which ultimately paid off as Yumako ordered the others to stand down. After the others left, Shogi apologized for his actions against Hazuki and explained everything to her. He wasn't sure if he could properly atone for his actions, but somehow his words had caused the Blue Card to appear in front of Hazuki's eyes. It was the beginning of Shogi's undying loyalty... at first. As of late, however, Hazuki has let one epiphany spiral her actions out of control, and Shogi fears that those actions maybe her undoing.
Pawn Spear: Stabs with its spear.

I'm reserving the following Evolution Line:

Flamemon --> Agunimon --> BurningGreymon --> EmperorGreymon(Bio-Merge)

Since there isn't some technicality for me to have Aldamon in this line, this is what I'll have to deal with. But that's fine. I didn't like Aldamon that much anyway.

would like to reserve a spot in the rp along with the following digivolutionary lines if i may? (will make changes to them if necessary)

SnowAgumon -> Seadramon -> MegaSeadramon -> MetalSeadramon

(following the initial style of tree given as SnowAgumon's digivolution in Digimon World Dusk, adding Seadramon the only other digimon that goes to MegaSeadramon as  champion form to avoid the whole rookie->ultimate thing that the game looks like it does with SnowAgumon)

BlackGabumon -> BlackGaogamon -> BlackMechaGaogamon -> BlackZeedGarurumon

(customs Black form of normal Versions with some inherent differences that i will explain more on later)

ShadowToyAgumon -> ShadowToyGreymon -> ShadowToyMetalGreymon -> ShadowToyAncientGreymon

(customs Shadow Toy forms of the normal versions with inherent differences that will be explained further later, tree i think most likely to be revoked/shot down?)

I regret to inform you that I have eternal dibs on machinedramon and as a matter of fact someone already has a blackagumon couple going on in the skype ooc.

alright, I'll change it out to another line, do you know if there are any other Agumon variants (aside from normal) that are not taken that I'd be able to change that line into i.e a SnowAgumon -> Seadramon line? just want to check before I change so that I don't immediately run into the exact same problem
Name: Mori "Yoshi" Yoshirou (Yoshirou can mean "Righteous Son")
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Allegiance: White Hate - Agent for ATLAS
Appearance:
large.jpg
Personality: Being the only son was a hard emotional barrier for Yoshi to overcome. No older sibling to push him around leaves Yoshi feeling vulnerable and his confidence is usually lacking when he's challenged by opponents of equivalent or unknown strengths. His lack of a younger sibling has made him develop a desire for justice. With no younger sibling to reflect that sense of justice onto, or to protect from bullies etc, Yoshi is left feeling like he must rescue others. With no sibling to tell Yoshi that even though they don't get along, they still value him, Yoshi doesn't consider himself valuable or neccesary and is willing to throw himself in front of an incoming attack to save someone else.

Without some direct or obvious reason, Yoshi continuously searches for a place to belong. At first, Yoshi thought assisting ATLAS in their counter activities against bio-emergence along side Patamon would give the both of them a way to obtain that sense of belonging. And yet, Patamon and Yoshi tend to travel and wander. Always available to be called in by ATLAS when they are the closest Agent to a nearby Bio-emergence. Normally when they're traveling, they act cool. They will appear confident, and at times, they are confident. His strongest motivator when it comes to conflict is the sense of right and wrong. If he's certain he's protecting someone who needs him, Yoshi is headfirst in the fight. It doesn't matter if the person likes him or not.

Usually a polite, kind person. Yoshi doesn't come across as a snob. He isn't afraid of addressing Grey Hats and being friendly with them to a level of almost thick-headedness. He isn't stupid, but he's quick to forgive and it takes more than a few lowly insults for him to give up trying to connect with and get along with others, especially other tamers. Never the first to use insulting word play, and always wary to the potential of making a new friend, Yoshi is not someone who is difficult to get along with. The hardest thing about meeting girls, especially around his age, for Yoshi, is that he may find himself being a little shy. Much like his music, it is easy for Yoshi to get carried away and lost entirely with the thought of a future with someone else, especially girls. Love isn't a fair way to put it. Perhaps, he is quick to find a crush with someone else, but not too readily will he admit it. Simply put: Yoshi can be timid around girls, he has no interest in readily admitting how he may feel in that sense. He could lose a friend that way, or even get labeled as a pervert or a deviant.

Biography: Born in Japan, Yoshi was no stranger to Digimnn as it was quickly becoming a part of the social culture in his area. Fear and stigma grew in the hearts of his teachers and young student friends, and naturally, Yoshi was talked to a lot about what the school would think the students should do when encountering a digimon. Just like an animal with rabies, the students were told to consider any Digimon dangerous and to flee. Of course, Yoshi carried his life along through school. Great grades, friendly students to play soccer with, healthy, active, Yoshi was almost a model son. In fact, it was difficult for teachers to grasp that he manages to be so driven. Yoshi leaped into extra classes and learned how to speak and write in English along with his native language. He had after school classes in additional courses, with none in particular being interesting to him, yet he was looking for every edge he could get scholastically. Other students found his presence on the soccer practice field to be an encouragement for them in their small games with other local schools. He wasn't the fastest kid, and he wasn't the best performer, but he wouldn't let that ruin his self-esteem and with time and plenty of games just for fun after school with his friends, Yoshi had become one of the more popular members of his team.

Shortly after his tenth birthday, with Digimon at the back of his mind, if not entirely outside of his head, Yoshi finds a Digiegg on his way to school. It was large compared to his ten year old body, and he couldn't quite hide it in his backpack or skip school to bring it home with him. But, as he made contact with the egg, a feeling of belonging, something he's been yearning for from a younger brother who wasn't going to be born, would wash over him. It was overpowering, just how much he needed to protect this egg and ensure it's growth in a world with such a negative stigma towards digimon. There was a box in a small little hideout in the woods that he and his friends would hangout at before they'd scramble to find a game to play. With a short jog into the woods, Yoshi got the egg into the box and then ran back to school. He'd be late for class, but the staff at the school and no problem giving Yoshi the benefit of the doubt when he said he was sorry and it wouldn't happen again. He was the model student at this time, after all.

Skipping his after school classes and charging right past his group of friends that were waiting for him outside of school, Yoshi made it to the hideout first, collected the Digiegg and brought it home with him. Without getting his hopes up for a potential new friend, Yoshi was well aware that if someone else figures out his possession of the egg, they will take it away from him. He couldn't allow that failure. In time, the egg would hatch. Eventually growing into Patamon, this Patamon having a strong desire for Justice and admiring those who are modest and honest. Patamon grew close to Yoshi during his infant stages and could feel Yoshi gently holding the egg during his egg stage. When he could finally talk in his In-training form, Patamon swore to Yoshi that he'd make up for the safety that Yoshi had provided for him by protecting him from whatever may cause him harm.

During Yoshi's Twelve Birthday, his father found out that Patamon has been hiding in his room and they had a small talk. Working for ATLAS in a legal division, Yoshi was convinced to Join ATLAS by his father under the promise that they wouldn't hurt Patamon. With some decent training, Patamon felt like he could digivolve again but didn't know how. During a fight between Yoshi and a Bio-emerged Digimon that was unexpectedly fast, ATLAS was caught by surprise when Yoshi(Who they were watching at the time) Quickly found a blue card, converted his phone into a D-Power and Digivolved Patamon into Piddomon to fight off the Bio-Emerged digimon threat and save a few citizens who were on the street the fight took place on. Given his chip and after they put a chip inside Patamon, presumably to track them, Yoshi's current position as an Agent of ATLAS was discovered on that very night.
D-Power: With no real special shape to it, Yoshi's D-Power is a purple object with a similar appearance to other's D-Powers. The designs and secondary color of his D-power is white.

Personality: Patamon can often be found napping under Yoshi's hood and laying on his head. He loves to play with Yoshi's hair and does it passively when he's nervous. Patamon is relatively confident that it's presence with Yoshi is to grow stronger to protect those he loves, including Yoshi. Patamon is open to growing closer to other Digimon, whether they are partner Digimon or not. Patamon can be considered young compared to other Digimon who had lead lives in the Digital world before coming to this world, and is thus very naive. He can be easily persuaded by adventurous digimon to join them on walks away from Yoshi as long as he is promised it won't be for long. Patamon loves to play and fighting doesn't seem to be at all his intention for the most part. When he digivolves further into Piddomon, his personality changes slightly. He becomes serious and more attuned to how his opponent feels. And, at times, Piddomon may seem to be prideful and over confident whereas Patamon will seem too gullible and free-spirited. It isn't uncommon for this Digimon to promise to protect others, the most serious Patamon can be is when he vows to stand between those he cares about and those who threaten them of ill-will. Patamon is prone to becoming bored and takes his flying practices very seriously, though it isn't getting him realistically anywhere.

Biography: Coming into Yoshi's life as  an Egg, Patamon only has a history of seven years to his life before the start of the RP. As an egg, it was difficult for Patamon to understand the warmth that eventually held it from time to time, and he desired to understand whatever was keeping him warm. Overnight, Poyomon would be released from the egg, a small jelly digimon. Yoshi would feed Poyomon and they grew closer. Adorable, how could this little guy hurt people like Yoshi was told Digimon would. As Poyomon finally grew out of his infant stage and into the small white puffball with a jaw: Tokomon, he could finally talk and vowed to return the favor Yoshi had given him with a life long friendship and protection. This serious attitude immediately melted as Tokomon laid at the end of Yoshi's bend and quickly found himself mesmerized by the television. Overtime Tokomon grew to Maintain his Rookie Stage "Patamon" And started traveling with Yoshi before Yoshi's father caught them. His mediocre attacks he learned as Patamon was honed while Yoshi trained to become an ATLAS Agent and a registered Tamer.
Boom Bubble: Sucking in air in his mouth, Patamon expands his body briefly before releasing it all in a concentrated blast that can be annoying to Champion-level digimon and downright scary for other Rookie Digimon. It isn't uncommon for Boom Bubble to be ignored entirely by notably defensive digimon of a Rookie level or higher.

Hane Binta: or Wing Slap, Patamon slaps his opponent with a wing from his head. Usually ineffective even against other Rookie Digimon.

Sparking Air Shot: A finishing move for Patamon while in combat against other Rookie-leveled digimon. Harnessing a small amount of holy power into his Boom Bubble attack will make the attack fly faster and an almost lightning-like aura surrounding it. This attack does additional damage to Virus Digimon and notably malicious beings.

Evolution Line: Tokomon, Patamon, Piddomon, MagnaAngemonDominimon(Bio-merge).
