The year is 2032. The place is Detroit, Michigan.
No longer famed for being decrepit and crime-ridden, the metropolis is truly living up to its lesser-known nickname "Renaissance City". The automotive factories have re-opened to manufacture Duel Runner parts and Duel Disks for a public demanding faster duels, both in gameplay and in style. Thanks to Duel Arcadia, LLC, a corporation that controls various Duel Monsters-related industries, Detroit has been reborn as a glittering star in the world of dueling. Both KaibaCorp and Industrial Illusions have key North American offices located in the Renaissance Center, while Duel Arcadia operates out of its headquarters on Belle Isle, which also contains the original Duel Arcadia game center, an open-air carnival-like complex containing a rollercoaster-like Duel Runner track and many dueling arenas. Some even call Detroit "The American Domino City".
However, this has started to become subject to change as a green mote of light sparkles in the night sky. This "star" is a massive comet, at least 10 kilometers in diameter and made from a strange green substance. According to calculations, this same comet passed by Earth 10,000 years ago, and might be related to the Atlantis Incident 30 years prior. Already, fragments of this comet are raining down on the planet, corrupting duelists, and causing a strange card, "The Seal of Orichalcos", to become a nasty rumor. Those that participate in a duel with this card are said to lose their souls, and a cult is forming around this power, with its leader seeking to use the epicenter of the fragment showers, Lake Saint Clair, as the site to build a new Atlantis.
1. All YCM RP Forum Advanced Clause Rules apply. Also, our co-hosts are Merciful Idiot and Dementuo.
2. You may have as many characters as you wish, though try to manage them, and do not create any canon characters.
3. This is set in an alternate reality where Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters exist, so you can use them. However, please ask a co-owner if you can use a card that is one-of-a-kind, like Stardust Dragon, as your ace card, and please be reasonable about what cards you use.
4. Custom cards are recommended for this setting, but remember to ask for permission to use cards you yourself did not create, and clear any customs with a co-owner.
5. We will be using the version of The Seal of Orichalcos listed below:
Spell/Field
This card's effects cannot be negated, and this card cannot be removed from the field, except for the activation of an "Orichalcos" Field Spell Card. Increase the ATK of all monsters you control by 500, and treat their Attribute as DARK. As long as you control this card, Your Spell & Trap Card Zones are also treated as Monster Card Zones. Monsters in your Spell & Trap Card Zones cannot be attacked unless your Monster Card Zones are unused. During your Main Phase: you may move monsters from your original Monster Card Zones to your Spell & Trap Card Zones, and vice-versa. During either player's Main Phase, when your opponent activates a card effect: You may send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; Negate the effect and destroy the card. The soul of whichever Duelist loses this Duel is forfeit to the winner.
Name: Itsu Fudo
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown, but appears to be in her mid-20s
Appearance:
1236wzn.jpg
Personality: Itsu's personality can be compared to Vash the Stampede. She is jovial and happy, though somewhat eccentric and referencing different pop-culture references and events that have either never happened or happened differently. However, she does have a serious side to her, and can get her game face on if its needed, or be more nurturing and loving to those needing to feel better. She has a strong sense of justice and what is right and wrong, and is very protective of those closest to her.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Itsu has been many things in her life. Warrior, Interdimensional Traveler, Hero, and, most recently, Mother. However, she has been "retired" for quite some time, allowing her to settle down and raise a family. She created the first Duel Arcadia several years ago, and used her time-travel abilities to shift Detroit into the position it is in today. Although technically the CEO of Duel Arcadia, possessing the majority share in stock required for her to control the corporation, she mainly delegates the tasks of running the business. However, with this comet approaching, she has become more active, now that she wants to defend her home and her family.
Deck: Laval Deck
Favorite Cards: Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Black Rose Dragon, Flamvell Firedog, Laval Dual Slasher, Laval Stennon, Lavalval Heatank, Red Nova Dragon, Shooting Quasar Dragon

Name: Atsuko Fudo
Gender: Female
Age: 7
Appearance: Atsuko looks very similar to her mother's original appearance, with short blood-red hair with bangs and 4 tiny spike-like nubs on each side of her head, mimicking her mother's old hairstyle. She has deep blue eyes, possibly from Itsu's companion, and fair skin. Her preferred outfit is a white "Team 5D's" T-shirt with a pair of jeans and some sneakers, but her mother asked her to bundle up, so her outfit includes a yellow beanie and a blue hoodie, and she has a red and black backpack that she keeps all sorts of stuff in. This outfit makes her faintly resemble an old acquaintance of her grandfather's. She has a miniaturized version of her grandfather's Duel Disk inside of her backpack.
Personality: Atsuko is a total tomboy, and is usually a bit hotheaded, like her mother, but she is also surprisingly grounded in reality. Considering all of the odd things she has had to deal with so far, this skill is a blessing, as it gives her the power to handle her mother's eccentricity. She is a bit of a savant when it comes to dueling, and can hold her own against other kids in her elementary school, but is still working on how to build a proper deck. Even though she won't admit it in front of anyone, she does love her mother dearly, and hopes to grow up to be just like her.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Atsuko is Itsu's youngest daughter, and one of the few people close to Itsu that hasn't yet retreated to another dimension to avoid the devestation of the comet. Itsu is beginning to regret this decision as the world seems to be going to hell around them, but Atsuko has sadly used up all of her sick days at school, and she needs to work on her grades instead of card games, at least until the situation gets bad enough for school to be cancelled. However, with the Orichalcos cult gaining prominence in the area, Atsuko is getting a bit worried, mainly by noticing a shift in her mother's attitude from quirky and fun-loving to more dour and serious.
Deck: EARTH-themed Deck, mostly consisting of Rock-Type monsters
Favorite Cards: Granmarg the Rock Monarch, Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, Megarock Dragon, Earth Spirit God - Grand Soil

Name: Pandora Maximus
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Pandora has platinum-blonde with silver streaks that is waist-length with two bangs on either side of her face, and purple eyes that have barely noticeable circuitry in the pupils. She is quite pale, with a slender, graceful body with some curve, and she has a form-fitting rubbery bodysuit that is silver and white with black sections (think Neon Genesis Evangelion bodysuits). Pandora also possesses a silver sailor-fuku-style bow with an emerald brooch centered in her chest, as well as a matching miniskirt. Her Duel Disk looks like a cake that was decorated to look like a Battle City Duel Disk, with a "slice" taken out of the back for her Extra Deck and Banished Zone that reveals that the "cake" is chocolate.
Personality: Pandora is calm and collected, usually serving as a foil to Protheus and keeping him somewhat grounded in reality, with very little success. However, she has her own eccentricities, mainly in her curiosity towards virtually everything, her intense love for sweets, her slight OCD when it comes to shuffling her deck, and a somewhat childish disposition. One very curious quirk is that she gets very quiet, very still, and very serious whenever someone mentions clowns. When asked why she suddenly changed attitudes, she dismisses the question by stating she doesn't want to talk about it. However, she has not only psychic abilities, mainly in regeneration and healing, but a deep connection with the Duel Monsters Spirit World, and has several friends there.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Pandora is the (unlikely as it sounds) daughter of Itsu Fudo and Protheus Maximus, with some of Itsu's late husband's DNA mixed in, as well as Itsu's eldest daughter. Itsu raised her to take over for her when she retired, but an incident very few wish to remember involving a time machine, some misunderstood words, and the erasure of an entire reality left Pandora rather insane. However, Itsu and Protheus quite literally combined their powers to defeat the girl, and eventually used a special device to reverse the damage dealt to her. She now serves her father in whatever project he is working on, trying to make sure he doesn't so anything stupid and attempting to bring some light and happiness into his life.
Deck: Madolche Deck made from her friends.
Favorite Cards: Guardian Eatos, Madolche Puddingcess, Madolche Tiaramiss

Name: Protheus Maximus
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, but appears to be around thirty.
304px-Prothever3.jpg
Personality: His personality is a little difficult to describe. He originally started off as your typical ALL-MUST-DIE I-AM-SUPREME kind of person, but his experiences after millenniums have changed him. Now he sees himself not as a god but as the embodiment of Judgment. He is sometimes sarcastic, and easily annoyed. However, he can be impressed to an extent. He is overly cunning and a mastermind at plans. Still, he is usually mostly serious, and in more ways than one can act as an enigma. He tries his best not to care about anyone.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Protheus is a strange sort of person, and has been through a hell load of things in his life. Being an Interdimensional Traveler, he has done a lot. His purpose is to destroy the entire multiverse, one world at a time, and trillions of wailing souls scream out his name in fear and despair across the universe, demanding vengeance. Unfortunately, he's an immortal with enough life force to last him about a quadrillion years, so they won't be getting it anytime soon. He has recently taken an interest in the comet, but little does he know that his archnemesis/closest friend (it's complicated) is also here...
Deck: Dark Ones
Favorite Cards: Cards are merely tools. He has no favorites. The Twilight One (you should already know it, FinalFan.)

Name: Lance Corona
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Lance is a Caucasian male of about 6”0’. He doesn’t have a lot of muscle on him, but he is very fit. He is somewhat thin, weighing about 135-140 lb. His hair is a bit longer than average length, extending down to the top of his shoulders in the back, and reaching down to his eyebrows in the front. The ends of his hair are spiked along the back. His hair color is jet-black. Lance’s eyes are a hazel-brown color. Lance wears light-black pants, a dark-grey shirt, and a black jacket over it.
Personality: Lance has something of a last attitude. He never puts much effort into anything, always wishes he were doing something else, and often finds himself sighing and mumbling “Tsk, how annoying”. There are two exceptions to this rule, however; Lance finds a particular amount of enjoyment from both Dueling and playing Chess. He enjoys strategy games like Chess, and finds a deep amount of strategy in Dueling as well.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Lance was adopted from birth by a middle-to-upper-class business owner, and spent his childhood being home-schooled. He lived in a fairly extravagant house as an only child. Outside of his home-schooling, his adoptive parents were rarely home, so he would often be forced to take up various activities to pass the time, developing his knack for strategy games. Normally, he would play Chess against a computer player, or pick up a Rubik’s Cube and spend a few hours solving it. When he turned 14, he entered High School and ended his home-schooling. It was there that he discovered Duel Monsters. He would notice other teens here and there playing the game, decided to fulfill his curiosity one day, and sat down with someone to learn the basics of the game. He had memorized the main points of the rulebook within a few days, and had already formed a competitive-level deck using his love of strategy. A few years passed and he graduated High School, but Lance decided to forgo Collage in order to study the game further.
Deck: Lance uses a deck of “Shift –“ monsters. Shift monsters have effects that allow them to be set as spell/trap cards, and can still be Normal/Special summoned through alternative means. Shift monsters, while set as spell/trap cards, can flip themselves up when certain conditions are met (conditions vary from card to card), and then summon themselves.
Favorite Cards: Soulshift – Evercast, Soulshift – Castout Messiah
Name: Idris Kentaturo
Gender: Female
Age: 18
idris_01_flat__by_totalobelisk-d55pha6.p
Personality: Idris is an unusually unenthusiastic duellist, often seeing it more as a chore than anything else and attempts to finish duels quickly, often getting irritated rather quickly if it’s not over by five or six turns, however she is nonetheless incredibly stubborn and refuses to surrender herself. Outside of duels she is usually quite friendly and calm if easily irritated by others. If she knows anyone well enough she will often tease them or sometimes play small pranks on them or others. She has also been taught to use Tarot cards by her grandfather and is fairly accurate in using them, but like duel monsters is not very enthusiastic about them but will nonetheless give anyone a reading when asked.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Idris belongs to a family directly descended from the ancient Egyptians who still study the ancient stories of the shadow games and the card game based on them. Idris was raised to play duel monsters but feels that her families dedication to Egyptian traditions are old fashioned and meaningless in the modern day. As part of her family tradition Idris has a series of tattoos all over her body, the most prominent one being on the right side of her face shaped like an elongated crescent moon with a few other patterns branching off it. While Idris was never interested in her family’s heritage she still went along with it anyway, if only so she didn’t disappoint her grandfather. After hearing the rumours surrounding the Orichalcos Idris’ family immediately took an interest in them, knowing a great deal about the Pharaoh’s previous battle with the same forces, and so Idris and her grandfather made their way to Michigan to begin an investigation.
Deck: Ancient Library: A deck that uses the ‘Spellbook’ and ‘Prophecy’ archetype of cards as well as various other support cards for Spellcaster-Type monsters.
Favorite Cards: Spellbook Institute - La Maison, Emperor of Prophecy, Emperor of Prophecy

Name: Kurai Kagami
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Kurai has long spiky red hair with blue bangs with thin blond streaks in the blue parts and black ones in the red. His right eye is yellow and his left eye is purple he has a tattoo type D-Gazer shaped like the marking on Paradox's eye though thicker. He wears a black and white jacket similar to the coat Xenmas wears in his final form with a yellow shirt under it like Riku wore in KH1, he wears dark baggy blue jeans and a pair of purple and black sneakers. He wears his D-Pad on his right arm and is a left handed duelist, his D-Pad is shaped like V's.
Personality: Kurai is kind but ditsy by nature but can normally make up for this flaw by being very competent especially in dueling. He isn't very good with girls his own age having been raised by his father and having very little contact with other people besides dueling. Even though he is normally very light hearted he can become aggressive especially when dueling against a duelist who uses dueling for what he feels is the wrong reasons. Though he is a strong duelist he currently plays a very risky strategy that has lost him duels.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Kurai is the end result of when someone created by mad science decides to use mad science to try and do it better. Genetically his farther(Mr. Nobody) used his DNA and that of his childhood love in order to make a new life that could hopefully do things that neither "parent" could though what that is no one knows except for Kurai's farther. Kurai was sent by his farther to meet his "Grandmother" and so he went to Detroit to find Itsu along with a letter of introduction from his farther, as far as Kurai knows he doesn't seem to have any special powers but he knows that his farther does and his mother and grandmother apparently did.
Deck: Marionecro, Machines that can be tributed to summon zombies in the graveyard to activate powerful effects, some of V's cards though powered down
Favorite Cards: Dark Lord's Sanctuary, Number 13: Marionecro - Lord Faceless

Name: Oliver Olette
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Oliver is pretty short for his age, standing at four foot nine inches when upright, and he's aware of it. His hair is chestnut brown and whipped up into a sort of cross between a pompadour and a set of messy spikes to try and add a couple inches, with the affect of simply making him look younger. He has shocking green eyes and a somewhat childlike face, with smaller features aside from his eyes and a slight tinge to his cheeks, though he tends to try and draw attention away from it by wearing a large scarf and a pair of pointed sunglasses- though the later has a tendency to fall off if he angles his head down too far. He tends to try and look 'mature' with his expressions, which leads to his face looking oddly stoic when he's thinking about things or talking about things that he knows a lot about- but catching him off guard reveals his true thoughts quite easily. He is very emotive in general, and tends to talk using his hands- often moving them in broad circles when gesticulating. Likewise, he speaks quite loudly when he's upset, or worried, or really any major emotion; the man cannot do subtle for the life of him, which often distresses him.
Oliver's clothing is usually very ordinary, including a lot of browns and greens, though he has the habit of wearing thick leather gloves with just about anything he puts on. Most of his clothing looks pretty beaten up, though he doesn't mind too much- his clothing tends to be pretty cheap and durable.
Personality: Oliver is loud, brash and heroic. Or at least he wishes he was- the kid is pretty open with most of his emotions, and finds it difficult to bottle anything inside. When he's confused, he looks confused- which tends to make people think that he's dim, given that he can't pull off pretending to know about things that he doesn't. He appears happy when he's happy, sad when he's sad, and most importantly- scared when he's scared. Oliver is not particularly brave, and tends to run away whenever he gets in a situation he's fearful of, or doesn't have much of an idea how to deal with, rather than risk getting hurt or embarrassed. This leads to others, particularly his friends, having a very low opinion of him- which in all honesty, hurts him a lot. Oliver tends to study quite a bit in order to make up for not knowing things, but he tends to take his knowledge for granted- he tends to think that most people know the things that he does, and doesn't make a big deal about knowing more than other people do. This in part stems from his poor self confidence, wherein it's difficult for him to believe that he's more intelligent than other people.
Around other people, Oliver has the tendency to lurk around a secondary position while still trying to take a leadership position. He likes to try and prove that he's capable, but at the same time he doesn't feel like he's able or should take such a position- which leads him to giving others more credit than they're due for their contributions while failing to take enough credit for his own. He tends to view things through a lens of his own failures, which endears him to pretty much anyone that spends time with him- after all, they'd have to be nice if they willingly spend time with him, right?
Aside from all that, however, Oliver has a deeply refined sense of heroics that often fights with his cowardice for dominance in stressful situations. He doesn't think twice about putting other people's lives before his own, so long as he doesn't get caught up on visions of his own failure- when he doesn't try to save people in trouble, it's because he's scared he'll screw up more than because he's scared for his own skin. That said, if someone he cares about is in trouble, Oliver will do everything in his power to try and save that person- at all costs.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Oliver is an orphan who grew up in a group home alongside a small number of likewise-situated kids. Being in a relatively low-income area and shuffled between a number of apathetic foster homes, the kids quickly became very close to each other, forming commitments to help each other even if nobody else could. Oliver in particular was very poor at getting along with the others- as one of the youngest, he suffered from a poor assessment of his own abilities, and automatically assumed he didn't have any real way to help the others. The others, naturally, believed him and in turn, shunned him. A fellow orphan, Rin Whitehorse, was one of the few that actually attempted to connect with him and draw him out of his shell- and while she did to an extent, what she found was a mostly bumbling, overly-apologetic Milquetoast that lacked the spine to refuse anything she asked of him. Oliver survived his early years largely due to Rin's grace, bringing him food and money when it was necessary, and arguing with the adults when he was being taken advantage of. Eventually, she along with the other orphans came up with an idea- learn to duel, win a few tournaments, and use the money from that to live away from the crappy situation they'd got themselves into. Oliver, eager to please, followed her directions- though he was almost surely the worst duelist there.
That said, he was also incredibly dedicated. He practiced and improved his deck, and eventually became pretty good, if rather short of Rin herself. Rin, on the other hand, was starting to tire of Oliver's perennial lack of a spine- and made it known to him that he really needed to buck up. Oliver, naturally, took it the wrong way and fled- not entirely sure why he wasn't in Rin's good books any longer, but rather determined to get back into them.
Deck: Massive Impact, a skill drain variant that combines a pseudo-archetype with high-power cards that carry significant drawbacks. Includes a number of equip cards and monster effects that can negate his own's cards drawbacks in order to make use of their raw power, but tends to lack ways to counter other people's defences. While the strategies can disrupt enemy's plans, it tends to fail after its initial attacks are blocked.
Favorite Cards: Skill Drain, Legendary Sword of Skill, Massive Wild Bear, Massive Gigamagic Construct Poseidon, Massive Chimera, Skilled Swordsman

Name: Rin Whitehorse
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Rin is a lean, almost waifish girl standing at about 5'2. She has a strong posture and a fierce look about her, though this is hindered by lines around her face and a certain lack of bulk to her form- while not quite malnourished, it's quite obvious she hasn't always had adequate food when growing. Her muscles are strong and wiry, the type belonging to someone who has been in more than a few scraps along the ages- she has a number of small superficial scars across her body, most of them remnants from some small fight along the ages.
Her face is slightly diamond shaped, with a tuft of black hair she ties behind her into a short ponytail. Her eyes are a light blue, sometimes verging on white given the proper light- though they're frequently covered by her messy bangs getting in the way, poorly kept as they are; nevertheless, she has a rather expressive face, and it's fairly rare that one can't read what she thinks of someone by how she looks at them- which is fortunate, given how difficult it can be to parse her actions at times.
She typically wears simple clothing that is easy to move in, though she has a fondness for jewlery when it can be found and worn without risking it being stolen; on a normal day, she'll wear an off-tan blouse with a simple cloth overjacket and a pair of thick lighter-brown pants, along with a pair of comfortable leather shoes she bought long ago. She wears her mother's wedding ring -a simple golden band inscribed with a symbol- on her ring finger, as well as a single amber earring in her right ear, the matching pair having been lost a while ago. She'll typically wear a brown leather string around her neck as well, similar to the type that would make up a necklace, though with no charm or ballast on the end; she elects not to respond to people who ask why she does this.
Personality: Rin can be hard to place; while she tends to act callous and violent in order to demand respect in the situation she is in, she's in reality a much calmer person with mild attachment issues- specifically, she can find it very difficult at times to have people she cares about put in danger, especially if it's caused by herself. A chronic worrier at heart, Rin's learned to channel this into an almost obsessive-compulsive strive to perfect preparations for anything she puts her mind to- it's not an exaggeration to say that Rin attempts to account for everything she and those around her might possibly face.
This tendency towards preparedness and protecting those she cares about tends to convince Rin and others that she's a, if not motherly individual (given her outwardly harsh attitude), at least a mature one beyond her years. While in a way this is true -Rin is certainly learned, and can't be called naive under any definition of the term- emotionally she might be considered stunted even younger than others. She finds it very difficult to let go or allow others to attempt to take initiative on their own, and worries frequently and often that she'll be forgotten or discarded if she isn't useful at all times. Ironically, her 'mature' label only serves to hurt her in this regard- since she's able to convince herself she's the "adult" of the situation, she's more likely to try and take control of a situation, even if she has no business in doing so.
Aside from that, Rin is a determined individual that doesn't allow scenarios within her control to knock her off of her balance. She is very good at adapting to new situations so long as they aren't entirely dissimilar from what she was expecting, and she refuses to freeze up or be unable to do anything to help at any given time- in conversations, she is always a dominant presence, and refuses to give respect or bow to the pressure of someone else when she has something on her mind, or a goal she has to reach. She is very determined in the way that she always approaches problems, and almost rarely feels actual fear or discouragement. Above all, Rin demands that she take action at all times, largely because she's spent the time thinking before hand anyway.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Rin's parents died in a housefire when she was 10, leaving her without family and almost nothing in the way of inheritance- and a whopping number of psychological issues as a result of loosing her guardians. She was placed into foster care, which quickly proved itself a terrible substitute- after a number of distant, uninterested and overworked 'parents', she built up a new persona as a shell to protect herself from becoming close to others. By acting outwardly aggressive and violent, she endeared herself to few people- but she did garner respect, especially around the other orphans within similar situations. Those kids around the same age -without anyone else to protect them- came together and elected her as sort of their unofficial leader, perhaps creating a sort of family unit they could interact with.
While Rin did care about the other orphans, she naturally had reservations about opening up or connecting to them too deeply, and took pains to avoid them when possible. One good way about doing that was to hang around with the group's black sheep- a cowardly kid called Oliver the rest of them had decided was essentially the omega wolf. Though she initially just hung around him so that others wouldn't seek her out, she eventually did grow to consider him a friend -just a little. The guy could be strangely brave in his own way, if he weren't such a coward about it. At some point, she found herself checking up on him- making sure he had enough to eat, wasn't being chased down, seemed in good health- and grew a little disappointed. Wasn't this the sort of thing she was trying to avoid?
To take her mind on things, she enacted a plan she'd thought of a while ago with some of the other, older orphans- by pooling their resources, connections and a little theft, they managed to pull together a couple Duel Monsters decks. The idea was to have a couple of them become experts at the game and win a tournament- something that gave out a sizeable amount of money and was held recently. Then, they could use the money to get themselves out of the situation they were in- and once Rin became of age, she could provide a home for the rest of the kids where they could actually get along.
It was a bit of a longshot, but Rin couldn't really bear to let it go through. While she took one of the decks, she was surprised to see Oliver took the other- not because he was the only one to want it, or because he asked her, but because he had studied the game the most and showed the most actual skill at it. Rin was surprised a little, to find that someone else tried hard to make sure something like this would work.
Deck: Bio Hunters, essentially a Vanilla Aggro build that capitalizes on weakening opponent's strategies and moving in for a quick kill by using low-cost, high-power Normal Card Support.
Favorite Cards: Gene-Warped Warwolf, Bio-Engineered Huntress, Enhanced Predator, Pride of Skill, Raw Skill

Name: Palir Coret
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Appearance: Palir Coret is a tall, average-looking man, appearing to be in his mid-20's. His green eyes occasionally appear to give off light of their own, especially in dark areas. He has somewhat spiky grey hair, with one lock falling in front of his face. The metal plate on his face is physically bolted there, along with a plate on his chest. A device not unlike a scouter covers his left eye. His face appears to be frozen in a look of indifference, and the expressions shown across it somehow look artificial, though the right side of his face looks less so. His right hand and left foot are metal facsimiles, though the hand is functional. He wears a martial arts gi, with the upper body potion gold coloured and the pants grey, tied with a black belt. During the RP, he may wear less conspicuous clothing that follows a similar colour scheme. A sheath for his katara is centered on the small of his back and is attached to his belt. The metal plates and pauldrons attached to his clothes are not actually bolted directly to himself.
Personality: While in the past, he had been timid and non-confrontational, Palir is now an outspoken and somewhat arrogant individual. He has a great sense of right and wrong, despite sometimes ignoring this in self-interest. He doesn't truly understand how far to go when seeking retribution from people who have angered him and can go over the top. However, he is relatively pleasant to be around, and he fiercely defends those he considers friends, sometimes violently. He tries to keep above his anger and will usually apologize for violent outbursts, but these outbursts have been happening more frequently recently.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: After failing to qualify for a major tournament in another country, he quit his job there and resumed traveling the world, continuing on his search for a new power source. He was able to gain money during his travels with his extensive knowledge of machines, sometimes charging people for his assistance, and other times simply modifying ATMs and such to get money. During this time, he re-evaluated his deck, settling on the "Ancient Gear" monsters to lead it.
Name: [acronym="Pronounced mie-ree gah-boon"]Maire Gaboon[/acronym]
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Appearance: Below is an image of what Maire normally looks like. At times, a purple snake-like mark glows brightly on her left arm, radiating a demonic energy that she can only assume is being emitted by Yami Maire, a dark spirit that remains housed inside Maire's body. Once Yami Maire takes possession of the body, it grows ecstatically, from being 5' 1" in height to 6' 4". Maire's breasts also grow to twice their normal size, and six medium-sized ethereal tentacles also sprout from Maire's back when she's possessed by Yami Maire, flailing about wildly. The last two things that change upon Maire being possessed are her pink dress transforming into more of a robe-like structure and changing to violet in colour, and her eyes changing shape completely. The irises are normally sea blue, but they change to blood red when possessed, whilst the retinas turn black and the pupils turn to a ghastly off-white. The irises and pupils also shrink dramatically, resulting in being about a ninth of their usual size. All these changes to Maire's body tend to last for ultimately quite the while before it returns to normal, but the exact time changes with each possession.
project_dark_maire_by_darkmatterfreak-d4
^would give image credit, but I forgot who it originally belonged to =/
Personality: Rather timid when it comes down to it, Maire tends to shy away from crowds big and small. This is mostly because of her agoraphobia, which can get so bad that the larger the crowd she's stuck in the middle of, the more likely she'll turn from just plain timidness to complete and utter paranoia. How Maire has gotten this agoraphobia is unknown, but perhaps it's linked to the dark spirit inside her body, which is known only as Yami Maire. Whatever the case, there's just so many criteria that have to be filled before Maire will come out of her shell. First and foremost is to ensure that Maire's agoraphobia doesn't act up for the umpteenth time. Spending too much time with Maire can also bother her, and that'll show in her face. But giving her space tends to take a load of her mind. Maire tends to be the target of ridicule, not just because of her timidness, but also because she physically speaks to Yami Maire, resulting in everyone else thinking she's delirious. Overall though, Maire doesn't seem to take life very seriously, but when Yami Maire takes over her body, she becomes even more lifeless, in truth becoming little more than a zombie and wailing, in a weak-sounding but demonic tone, about a desire to fulfill Earthbound Immortal Cuauhcoatl's will. Yami Maire tends to be at her most likely to come out when The Seal of Orichalcos is played during a duel, or if Maire is just about to summon Earthbound Immortal Cuauhcoatl, but she can also come out without warning, as the mark continues to radiate a dark energy.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Over the years, Maire Gaboon's ancestors have been known worship Earthbound Immortal Cuauhcoatl, a dark deity that takes the form of a rattlesnake, with marks all over its body known as Nazca Lines. Maire's family still continues to pray to this deity to this day, and has been known to offer tributes, whether they be offerings of their own blood or human sacrifices, all in the name of preventing the incurring of its wrath. Maire, however, found this to be... wrong, and stopped performing the traditional rituals altogether, only to be punished by Cuauhcoatl itself. She was inflicted with a curse, and now her body houses a dark spirit known as Yami Maire. But that wasn't enough; Cuauhcoatl also presented itself to Maire in card form, as a sign that it was watching her. The card that bore Cuauhcoatl was also cursed, as even if it were to be misplaced or stolen from Maire, it would always appear to melt away from its current location, poisoning anyone that touched it, only to materialize back into Maire's hands. Cuauhcoatl also may have been responsible for the origins of Maire's agoraphobia, but whether this is true is unknown.
Deck: Maire runs a Venom/Reptilianne Deck, and focuses on utilizing cards from the two archtypes, but she also tends to add other snake-like cards such as Wattcobra and Watthydra, the latter of which she likes to summon so she can obtain key cards.
Favourite Cards: Earthbound Immortal Cuauhcoatl, Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes, Reptilianne Hydra, Watthydra
219713o.jpg

There can only be one face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. This card is treated as a "Venom" monster while it is face-up on the field. While this card is face-up on the field, reduce the ATK and DEF of all non-"Venom" monsters on the field with Venom Counters on them by 500 for each Venom Counter, and destroy all non-"Venom" monsters with Venom Counters whose ATK OR DEF are equal to 0. Once per turn, you can place up to 2 Venom Counters on monsters your opponent controls. If you place 2 Venom Counters with this effect, this card cannot attack during your Battle Phase, and the following effect is negated until your next Standby Phase:
- During either player's turn, while you control a Field Spell Card and all your opponent's monsters have at least 1 Venom Counter on them, you can banish this face-up card. If you do, remove all Venom Counters on the field, and inflict 500 damage to your opponent Life Points for each Venom Counter removed. Then Special Summon this card during your next End Phase.
Name: Yuri Kanzen
Gender: Female
Age: [acronym="Or so she appears. Yuri" s true age is unknown']25[/acronym]
yuri_mission_outfit_by_yurixchaan-d490ey
^would give image credit, but I forgot who it originally belonged to =/
Personality: Despite being of Aztec origin (this clearly shows in her voice), Yuri is surprisingly fluent in the English language. Well... almost fluent; the more syllables a word has, the more likely she'll completely balls up its pronunciation. She also tends to be incompetent with modern technology for the most part, and tries to avoid coming across it whenever possible. For example, Yuri will almost always take the stairs if their's a higher or lower floor of a building that she needs to get to, as it saves the humiliation of her trying to figure out how to work the elevator. She gets mocked for this though, and she will destroy the person that mocked her in a duel. Yuri takes each duel very seriously, even if a duel was only meant to pass the time rather than resolve a matter in particular, and will often proves to be relentless as she sets up for a clean victory in one fell swoop. She doesn't how long a duel lasts for however, just as long as she wins in the end, and manages to teach her opponent not to mess with her. Yuri takes great offence to any implications that she's stupid, and that includes one saying things to her like "Oh, everyone knows how to do this or that," as she tends to interpret "everyone" in such a case as "everyone except her".
Faction: Duelist
Bio: For the longest time, Yuri Kanzen has been trying to find a way to turn back to her own timeline, as she had been dragged to the present time through some strange phenomenon involving M-X-Saber Giamako. Now though, Yuri has found someone by the name of Itsu Fudo, who has offered to take her back... under one condition; that being that Yuri had to first help deal with this comet, which had been responsible for the corruption of otherwise innocent duelists. At first, she thought of the task at hand as preposterous, but after realizing this was the only way back to her own timeline, she eventually agreed, and as a result, she was officially employed into the Duel Arcadia. At least now, she had finally gotten used to her Duel Disk, but this remained the only piece of modern technology that Yuri would ever bother to put any effort into using since... well, she just doesn't like modern technology. It was Itsu that helped Yuri with the whole Duel Disk thing, and Itsu also took Yuri out and about in Detroit. The latter only made Yuri even more homesick though; she didn't care for any of the food that Itsu had bought for her to eat, and she got aggressive towards one of the arcade games just because she couldn't ever win the game, which resulted in her getting booted out of the arcade, and sued for damages. Still, Yuri's homesickness had only got her fired up on the task ahead, as she continued forth in her quest to render that cursed comet as non-threatening once and for all.
Deck: Yuri runs X-Sabers, and her main strategy is to summon M-X-Saber Giamako as soon as she is able. However, should her attempt to do so fail, she will try her hand at field and hand control, utilizing the discarding abilities of some of her X-Saber monsters and swarming the field so she can use Saber Slash.
Favourite Cards: Saber Slash, XX-Saber Hyunlei, M-X-Saber Giamako.
Name: Mia (Originally spelled as M.I.A, short for Muan Intelligence Alpha, her originally name is long forgotten)
Gender: Female
Age: She honestly doesn't remember
Appearance:
Her hair is cut short at the left side of her head while it reachs down to her shoulders and covers her eye on the right side. The hairdo is messy and she also has a thin bang that first goes up on her left side and then goes down. Her hair colour is white with purple slings, and her eyes are of a bright, almost artificial-like, blue. She wears a tight, white rubbersuit with a short, black coat on top, as well as black higheels. In addition to this she wears a belt on her neck which sports a weird, golden symbol. Under her right eye there is a bolt-shaped plate used to cover up a scar she got during one of her many escapades.
Personality: Mia is schizophrenic and crazy, and not rarely in the bad way. Her sweeter side is still pretty mad. This side of Mia is sweet and nice, but masochistic and decietful. This side of her is always dominated by her darker, sadistic side, although this side of her is usually hiding behind the nicer side. She will do anything to reach her goals, but she's an underachiever and has never really seen any of her plans come to fruition. Her goal in life is to find a dimension to call home, where she can create a new Mu and act as its ruler, but all attempts so far have failed, sometimes even resulting in dimensions being completely destroyed.
Faction: Duelist, I guess
Bio: Once a high priest of the Gods in the Muan Empire, she was, like the other high priests, put into "stasis sarcophagi" when the destruction of Mu was imminent. When they awoke many millennia later, the world had changed, and Mia, whose mind had been "glitched" (thus the schizophrenia) by the thousand-years-sleep, tried to destroy the world to rebuild Mu out of its ashes, but it all resulted in the entire dimension collapsing, turning Mia and her fellow high priests into interdimensional creatures. Mia is unaware of where the other priests are located at this hour, but she has arrived to this dimension in hopes of finally rebuilding Mu.
Name: Yggdrasil
Gender: Genderless (appears female)
Age: Her corpreal form is only a few weeks old, but her spirit is as old as Earth itself
Appearance:
200px-Kelda_(by_Olivier_Coipel)_1.jpg
Personality: She is very mother-like, taking care of anyone who needs it, even those who can do nothing for her. She's wise and intelligent, but also very primitive in the way that she do not understand modern things such as sarcasm, irony or jokes of any kind. She is also totally oblivious to technology, with the Duel Disk being the only thing she appears to be able to use. She is very protective to everything living (except for those under the influence of Orichalcos) and will bring divine judgment on those who threatens nature.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: She is a personification of Earth itself, greatly weakened by the presence of the comet and the Cult of Orichalcos. The Earth created her as a way to communicate with humans, looking for allies against the Orichalcos Cult and the comet. She chose the name Yggdrasil for herself because she wanted a name that represented her role in the coming battles, as a bringer of hope and a protector of life from the dark powers that are coming. Also, she thought Yggdrasil was a beautiful name.
She is in conflict with Arche since Archetype Earth was given the power of Earth to protect the planet, but give no respect to the creatures living on the planet. Yggdrasil, on the other hand, loves all living things and will do anything to destroy the monster she created.
Deck: She plays a deck completely made up of Spells and Traps, except for her ace card, Yggdrasil
Favorite Cards: Yggdrasil (Note that the card was created in Yggdrasil's image. Had she chosen another name to represent herself the card would bear that name instead)
Name: Gabriel Guerra (Ring Name: War Garvas)
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Appearance: Gabriel tanned, muscular build stands at a height of 6 feet, 7 inches. Has a slight bit of chest hair, as well as a few scars (one cross-shaped scar on his left pectoral, a possible stab wound on the right side of his midsection, small scratch marks on his forearms, and a small cut on his chin, leaving a bit of a void in his goatee. If there are any others, they're usually hidden by clothing) and a tribal-style tattoo of a winged lion starting on his right shoulder, ending with the wing on his right shoulder blade. He has hazel eyes and short, dark brown hair, though all that's usually seen of his hair while wearing his mask is his goatee. Speaking of his mask, which resembles a lion's face with a long, crimson mane, the rest of his luchador attire features a white, sleeveless long coat, grey leggings with a stylized wing running down each leg, and a pair of boots stylized to resemble lion paws. He's never seen in public with his face exposed, usually wearing a white mask that covers only the top half of his head whenever he wears more casual clothing.
Personality: Gabriel is usually more reserved outside of dueling and wrestling, usually calm and quiet, keeping to himself (mostly to keep a low profile when out in public), but is by no means a "wall flower". When interacting with people in the general public, he may seem a bit distant at first, but given time as he warms up to you, he can be one of the most talkative people you could meet. Of course, he is highly protective of his mask and face, refusing to allow anyone to see him mask-less outside of close friends and family. While wrestling (he's a face, by the way), he is more charismatic and jovial. While dueling, he's also high-spirited, but tactical as well, and not as over-the-top as his personality in the ring. Also cares a lot about children. Gabriel is devoted to family and friends, and will stick his neck out for them more often than not.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Gabriel grew up in foster care starting at the age of 5, after his parents perished in a car accident. The foster parents he lived with were the caretakers of a local orphanage in Mexico, the other orphans being almost like his brothers and sisters growing up. He was mostly a good kid growing up, except for a time during his mid-to-late-teens where he got mixed up with (or rather, forced to join) a delinquent street gang. This ended after he was nearly killed trying to protect an innocent by-stander from the other members of the gang.
Two of Gabriel's passions growing up were Duel Monsters and Wrestling, both of which he would watch along with the other kids at the orphanage. He dreamed of one day doing both, even when some of the more mature kids told him that such a dream would be difficult to accomplish, seeing as the two never really crossed paths. This didn't deter Gabriel from pursuing such a goal; since he couldn't really start training to be a wrestler until his twenties, Gabriel decided to start with Duel Monsters; collecting and trading cards with the other kids, studying dueling tournament videos on the internet, and of course battling. He even went so far as to mail a letter to Maximillion Pegasus, founder of Industrial Illusions, telling him of his dreams. Somehow, the message got through, for months after that, Gabriel received a package from Industrial Illusions: a Deck of a newly created Archetype known as the "Masked Bravadors", the first of their kind.
Eventually, at the age of 27, Gabriel achieved the goal that many thought was improbable: having created a new masked wrestler identity known as "War Garvas" and perfected his Dueling style, he was sought out by the DWF (Duelist Wrestling Federation), a wrestling troupe that specialized in Duel Monster battles as well as the traditional Pro Wrestling.
... ever since the meteor known as "Faust" appeared in the sky, the DWF had been receiving trouble from a strange handful of cultists, who had been attacking fans and wrestlers indiscriminately at the DWF's events. It is after their most recent show in Detroit, Michigan, that Gabriel's role in this story will soon begin....
Deck: Gabriel uses the "Masked Bravador" archetype, a group of Luchadors that can equip the masks of their fallen brethren, sorta like Inzektors, but not quite.
Favorite Cards: The Masked Bravadors' "Magnum Opus Four", which are based on nigrido (or necro, in this case), albedo, citrinitas and rubedo.
Name: Russell "Taurus" Oxford
Gender: Male
Age: 35
RussellOxfordminiref-1.png
Not shown: a tattoo of a winged dragon on his back
Personality: In spite of his "freakish" height (7'2"), Russell Oxford is a fun-loving type of guy, who enjoys a good challenge, be it physical or intellectual (for instance, he had been in a "Ninja Warrior" tournament, as well as an episode of "Unbeatable Banzuke"). He's also quite nimble and agile for a guy his size, able to perform acrobatic stunts almost as easily as the average parkour runner. He acts like the big brother to most of the DWF wrestlers, especially to Gabriel Guerra. Despite his easy-going demeanor, it doesn't take much to set him off, but he still tries to make sure not to let his anger get out of hand and blind his judgment.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: A half-Irish, half-Latino wrestler from the DWF, Russell Oxford hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most people believe that he received the nickname "Taurus" for his great strength, but it's also because he was born during the Chinese Year of the Ox.
The day that Gabriel Guerra, a.k.a. "War Garvas", arrived to the DWF, he and Russell almost immediately became friends; as it turns out, Gabriel had once rescued Russell's mother (who was also friends with Gabriel's foster parents) from a delinquent street gang. Gabriel had tried to say that he himself was also a part of that same gang at that time, but Russell would hear nothing of it; to him, he was in Gabriel's debt.
Deck: A Warrior Deck, which includes monsters from the E*HERO and Heroic Champions/Challengers Archetypes, among others
Favorite Cards: E*HERO Wildheart, Heroic Champion Excalibur, Buster Blader, etc.
Name: Aaron Fenix
Gender: Male
Age: 17
TeenBoy.jpg
Personality: Aaron is an eccentric young man with many aspirations in life, yet remains timid while in public. He feels insecure about himself and his place in the world, to the point that he tunes it all out in his mind to avoid it. Yet, with his insecurity, he is a great person to be with, one you befriend him. He turns to be a very curious and chatty person, who enjoys to share what he has to talk about and get stuck into stuff, once encouraged. However, Aaron also conceals a violent temper, which can be coaxed out by continuous torment. This temper has been for his entire life, yet has been amplified since 'The Fated Three' broke up. Alternatively, he can just break apart into a wreck of his normal self, should he cannot simply manage task at hand. However, these breakdowns are very rare, and Aaron is not a threat to anyone around him.
Faction: Duelist
Aaron is the first member of his family to be born in Detroit, as his parents migrated to the city with new jobs at General Motors' new headquarters, after the lease for the Renaissance Center expired and was offered to KaibaCorp and Industrial Illusions. He began to learn Duel Monsters at his junior school, learning from the two people he would later call his closest friends, Cameron and Kevin, while they where trading there latest cards inside the playground's monkey cage. Given a few weeks of training and getting to know each other, Aaron knew how to duel. Later that week, he used his pocket money to buy the original incarnation of his deck; a standard copy of Invincible Fortress. At first, the deck was ok; it got him through his duels, but it was ineffective. Aaron experimented with several other decks he acquired from his trades, but they often never gave him that spark that the perfect deck gives to his owner.
As Aaron, Cameron and Kevin entered High School, they where presented with an opportunity: the Detroit Novice League was hosting a three on three tournament. Aaron, Cameron and Kevin entered the tournament, under the name of "The Fated Three". The team competed, and took the competition by storm. Two months later, The Fated Three where invited to attend the Detroit Rookie's League, which ended in another first place victory. The Fated Three looked like they could be regulars on the local duel circuit, with an invitation to compete in the next tire of the ranks; the Detroit 3V3 Brawl. Aaron and his team could not let down such an opportunity, and took it. However, their luck had to run out. Unknown to the team, the Detroit 3V3 Brawl was being sponsored by General Motors, which caused a scandal when it was discovered by the judges and the company that Aaron's parents worked at GM. While they where not officially disqualified, the dueling community took harshly to the discovery, eventually pressuring The Fated Three into withdrawing from the tournament. The Fated Three disbanded, since they knew that they could no longer compete in the public eye while Aaron's parents worked for the sponsors, and also refusing to just replace Aaron. The only consolation that Aaron received from his brief time on the duel circuit was the final cards he needed to transform his Invincible Fortress deck into 'The Forbidden Fates', that would give him an edge in his future duels.
Aaron returned to a normal life soon after, remaining friends with Cameron and Kevin until the end of there high school years, where the three separated for colleges around the state. Aaron remained in Detroit, being offered a place at the College for Creative Studies to study art. He studies there to this day.

Name: "Natsu" (Name given to her by Pandora)
Gender: Female
Age: 0
Appearance:
Itsu.jpg
Personality: Because of the fact that she has very few memories, she seems cold and emotionless, and is quite direct and to the point. She mainly wants to figure out what she is, and what her purpose is in the reality she has awoken in, as she was never meant to awake to begin with. Because of her newness, she has a child-like naivete to her, asking questions about how things work. However, elements of her other self are still present, such as a strong sense of right and wrong. She also strives to be her own person, though she still has a strong connection to her counterpart, something that will never go away. Overall, she is conflicted, and is now thrust into a situation she might not be able to handle.
Faction: Duelist
Bio: Natsu was supposed to wake up. Protheus created her on a whim, simply because he could, then left her to sleep for all eternity in a cryogenic suspension pod. The reason she was never going to be alive was that the original Itsu was alive, and thanks to a rule of reality that prevents multiple versions of the same person from traveling in between universes, Natsu could never exist. However, the loss of Itsu's soul, combined with the distancing of Itsu's quantum state from Natsu's, resulted in Natsu being able to live, though she is now supposed to fill the shoes of her predecessor and step up to the plate to be a hero, something she isn't sure she is capable of doing.
Deck: Yusei-Style Synchro Deck, but mixes in cards from the other Signers as well.
Favorite Cards: Tattered Stardust Dragon, Tattered Red Dragon Archfiend, Tattered Black Rose Dragon, Tattered Ancient Fairy Dragon, Tattered Black-Winged Dragon, Tattered Life Stream Dragon, Shooting Star Dragon, Red Nova Dragon, Shooting Quasar Dragon, Tattered Solace Dragon

Name: Archetype Earth (original name: Reatrey/nickname: Arche)
Gender: Female
Age: 10000+, looks 18-ish in human form
Appearance: Arche has long light-blue hair that goes down to her feet and deep green eyes, completely identical to the color of Orichalcos. Apart from slight patches of human skin, mostly on her face, this is all that remains of her as a human. Her overall body is covered in dark-blue scales, and even has a tail. But she’s also capable of altering her appearance into something more human with a device crafted for her. She uses this human appearance during media and public appearances.
Personality: Arche’s personality is rather strange. But to put it simply, she’s insane, and yet very sane. She's well aware of all her actions and sympathizes with everyone. She's really understanding of other people - but unfortunately, this understanding doesn't translate into accepting. She's obsessed with the planet and wants to save it at all cost, in direct opposition to the original Great Leviathan.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult (Leader)
Bio: Reatrey was the only survivor of the conflict between the Legendary Dragons and the Orichalcos, having done the stupid stupid stupid act of swallowing it. When she did, it fused with her being and the corruption simply faded away. She herself at that point could be called a second ‘Great Leviathan’, or a ‘clone’. Unfortunately, she went into a deep unconscious state due to hunger after being unable to find food anywhere. She was incapable of death.
Needless to say, she revived one day when the Orichalcos comet returned. It fueled her with the power to reawaken.
When she did, the World itself contacted her and told her that she was the most powerful entity on the planet, and that she was to be its champion, renaming her ‘Archetype Earth’. It also imparted with her knowledge on all the world’s culture and technology.
As cliché as that was, she discovered she’s able to easily influence the minds of those influenced by the Orichalcos, and gathered together followers to form the Orichalcos Cult.
She also used this ability to influence some into getting her a television program dedicated to supporting the cult, that anyone can watch for free! – It actually hypnotizes all their viewers into joining it, and also informs the Orichalcos cult about all their current activities, helping spectacularly in organizing them.
Arche has no intention to destroy the world. In fact, as her duty as Archetype Earth, she plans on saving it and protecting it.
But for some reason, these noble intentions that she preaches seem to be oddly extreme. Afterall, she does plan to use the epicenter of the fragment showers, Lake Saint Clair, as the site to build a new Atlantis. Apparently, she has a master plan nobody knows….
Deck: Orichalcos Deck, with a strategy not unlike that of Dartz. However, she is not hesitant to spam Divine Serpent against her opponent, especially when desperate.
Favorite Cards: Orichalcos Deuterus, Orichalcos, Tritos, Divine Serpent

While wary of all of this magic that is currently going on, he sees Archetype Earth and her ramblings as a necessary evil, as long as he accomplishes his goals.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Castle always wanted to be a soldier like the men and women in the G.I. Joe cartoons he watched as a kid, and tried his hardest to get accepted into JROTC, then ROTC, shipping out with a Paratrooper company as a newly-minted Lieutenant at the start of the Iraq War. The failure of the war, along with the recession and the growing influence of foreign powers on America, caused him to realize that something had to be done to protect the country he loved so much. As he rose through the ranks, he formed connections, and was even thinking about using his skills as a military commander for the battlefield that was Congress when he was contacted by the Orichalcos cult, needing some agents in the government. Realizing his opportunity, he gained access to the sealed records of the Atlantis Incident, and what occurred involving the USS Courage, and discovered the incredible power behind the Orichalcos. Personality: Lucas is the typical intellectual and curious type. Always asking "why" and always wanting to know the origins of stuff. In his old age however he is completely intolerant of the young. In fact he hates that everything depends on a children's card game and a quite elaborate one at that. He barely knows how to play the game and he wouldn't be considered good if the fact remained that he is a very thorough reader. His constant inquiry about trying to ascertain the future and knowing what comes next has lead to his mastery of a certain play style. While being old he always maintains an apparent level of calmness and never shows any emotion which comes in handy since he is also a heavy drinker. He can always be found looking for and subsequently helping himself to the nearest bottle of Scotch, Brandi, Cognac, etc.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Lucas is an archaeologist by trade or was one. He was always fascinated with the past and future, the terracotta soldiers of China, the pyramids of Egypt, the hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Nazca lines which later known to be giant spirits gone to rest but still they were something worth looking into. He spent his entire life learning about the great mysteries of the world. He lived a life fulfilled but as time would have it is harder to scale mountains and go through secret passage ways if you get old so he retired naturally. Becoming noted in the field he did hear of myths about people who could discover an undeniable treasure so of course he had to check it out and join them.
In terms of Duel monsters however Lucas never really got into the game. In fact he never understand how the game could become such a staple of life as everyone knows it. He did however spoil his grandson Victor in getting him a duel runner and helping him by the latest cards until Victor was fully sponsored as professional because that is what grandparents do spoil their grand-kids. Victor did try to teach his old man how to play the game but it was hard enough to understand the difference in green, pink, and brownish-orange cards. Then you introduce the purple, blue, black, and white ones and special ways those can be used it was pretty frustrating but nice way to bond with your offspring. When Lucas joined this new cult of Orichalcos he was informed about the method in which souls were taken. He was pissed, he didn't show it but he was pissed. He would have called his grandson, who was a big pro now going around the world competing in global circuits, but saying teach me how to take a person's soul is not the most appropriate thing you want to ask of a person. So he discovered dueling on his own and was able to find a set of cards that referenced himself quite nicely without the need of the rainbow set of cards.
Name: Syrialmazkin Kiyre (Syria for short)
Gender: Female
Age: 117
DEARS0.jpg
She also wears an open trench-coat in the same colouring style as the rest of her costume with puffed shoulder, belted cuffs around her upper arms and wide sleeves similar to a kimono.
Personality: Syria is a quiet and rather gullible creature, easily persuaded into doing things and blindly following the first person she encounters without question. She is a rather keen observer and is almost constantly making small observations about the world around her from major events to insignificant everyday things. In the short time she has been on earth she has developed an almost obsessive taste for junk food and will often be found waiting outside of a fast food joint and staring hungrily at anybody carrying food outside. She has little understand of many elements of human life and has trouble dealing with simple things most humans take for granted (things like traffic lights, cash terminals etc.), due to this she is an incredible newbie when it comes to duelling, barely understands many of the rules and can just barely understand English. Regardless she is a fast learner and is quickly adapting to her new environment.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Syria comes from a cyborg race from the other end of the galaxy that has made it their sole objective to document every fact in the universe (they started this missions over 2 million years ago…They have barely started). Syria was part of a recon mission that passed through the western spiral arm of the milky way when they were hit by the Orichalcos comet, Faust, which crippled their ship. Syria herself managed to get to an escape pod before the ship fell apart and after a few quick calculations worked out the comet’s destination intending to discover more about the comet, eventually crashing onto earth. Unfortunately the comet impact damaged a lot of her internal workings and her personality, intelligence and memories suffered as a result. She began wandering around and eventually came across the orichalcos cult. The cult decided to take her in, mistaking her for a tramp or a runaway but eventually managed to determine her true nature and, despite her lack of understanding of human life, decided she may be useful to their cause. Her costume also has an anti-gravity field surrounding it, while she can’t actually fly she is able to float above the ground and slow herself down from a potentially fatal drop as well as keep up with the speed of most earth vehicles.
Name: Cuan Llenlleawg
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance: Cuan is a lanky, though well-built individual standing at around six-foot two. His hair is long and dark, with a bit of a raven sheen, and hangs unbound to his shoulders; though relatively shiny, it is brushed away from his face along with his bangs. His face is sharp and a little fierce looking, though few people would deny he looks handsome- though the point is often moot, given he hides it behind a pair of (admittedly small and circular) sunglasses and the brim of a large hat. His expression ranges between mildly bored and mildly amused depending on the situation at hand, rarely straying into any of the more fierce emotions, however- though the guy could probably look terrifying or imposing if he wanted to, it's quite evident he doesn't intend to. Indeed, even the general air of smug satisfaction and self esteem that seems to billow around him tends to make authority figures think he's a punk, even without any other sort of evidence.
Cuan tends to wear a lot of dark colors and leather, including a jacket tailored perhaps a little longer than it should be, which is perpetually left open. The profile of a wolf is inscribed on the back in gold threading, and though it appears to be pretty old, it seems very well kept. His pants are made of a similar leather, though not as tight as one would expect; these seem a fair bit more beaten than his jacket, with a number of small cuts and decolorization around the leggings. He wears a pair of fingerless leather gloves, as well as a holster at his side that holds his duel disk, not entirely dissimilar from a sheathe.
Personality: Cuan is a mildly antisocial individual, though paradoxically not enough that it prevents him from forming an ego. Though he goes out of his way to avoid coming into contact with people, he enjoys the attention of large crowds and the spectacle of being respected by the masses; interacting with the individual, however, is just too much effort that he'd rather not spend. If forced into proximity to others other, he is courteous, reasonably polite, though perhaps a bit malicious in his sense of humor. He likes to emotionally distance himself from others, and as such it's very difficult to tell his emotions from and outward glance; he doesn't enjoy opening up to others very much, and he's more likely to try and laugh something off as a defense mechanism than retaliate in public. While he obviously doesn't form very many bonds, he does get rather attached to those he has if given enough time. Cuan is exceptionally loyal to the people who have his respect, and would rather kill himself than turn traitor on one of his friends; for those who he doesn't have a close connection to, they're fair game.
Cuan is especially strange in that he doesn't place much stock in ideas of justice outside of his own. He has a very specific idea of how the world should be, and he doesn't allow anything to get in the way of that. He's perfectly willing to give up his own happiness and soul for his dream, should it come to it- he doesn't actually value his own life very much, nor does he value the lives of those who get in his way. He is willing to kill if it comes down to it, though he naturally avoids extreme measures so much as he is able to. Cuan is willing to do what needs to be done, but he is not cruel.
While in a duel, however, Cuan becomes much more reactive- he allows himself to cut loose when in direct combat with someone else, and drop the mask a bit. The best way to learn how Cuan's really doing is to duel him- where he is exceptionally aggressive, outgoing, even a bit sadistic if it comes to it. Still, he's very way about eventually giving into bloodlust, and as such tries to temper himself whenever using the Seal of Orichalcos.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Cuan's parents were immigrants from Ireland who immigrated on the last pennies they had on the vague word that one of them would be offered a job on the other side. Naturally, it didn't quite pan out, and following the immigration paperwork they were left with very little money. Cuan was forced to work from a very young age in order to help pay off his family's debts, which never seemed to get any lighter. To make matters worse, Cuan's father eventually came down with a heart condition that left him unable to work- and the corrective surgery would cost far more than the family could ever afford.
His father eventually died, leaving behind a grieving family and a pile of debts. Unwilling to allow his mother to fall to the same fate, Cuan left to find money to send back to her- to make things right. A strange organization was willing to pay back the debts, if he'd join with them; Cuan didn't really have the luxury of saying no. He little expected to discover they were a cult of some sort, using a strange power to steal the souls of others.
Deck: Hunting Wolves; an archetype based around a large number of monster cards, while using almost no spells and only a few traps. Each monster supports each other through Normal Summons, and they gain strength while in large numbers, though weaken if their numbers are brought down.
Anti_Black_Coat_KH3D.png
Personality: Albtraum is a very strange being, he is normally very antagonistic mocking his opponents and even some allies though he knows when to stop pressing peoples buttons in order to protect himself. He never seems to blink which gives people the impression that he stares making people want to distance themselves from him though if he gets 'attached' to someone he wont leave them alone and depending on the person he might be willing to help them or hinder them. His method of speech is weird, even though he does talk and people know what he says the never seem to be able to remember what he sounds like nor when exactly he says it. Albtraum also has a trademarked annoying Chichichi laugh.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Albtrum was born when a young man in a coma came in contact with an Orichalcos meteor fragment and and the stone manifested his consciousness into a physical form though darkened by the stones power. Albtrum spent some time just stalking and dueling people randomly and using the Seal to steal their souls until he met Archetype Earth and she convinced him to join her in saving the earth something no one would expect him to do but something about her made him want to follow her. Though his actions didn't really change Albtrum started spending time with Archetype Earth and her church instead of just hunting duelists.
Deck: Nightmare beasts, they need Dreamer to be on the field or they self destruct, generally powerful effects or stats.
Favorite Cards: Nightmare Beast - Gatling Dragon, Nightmare Beast - Rage Ape, Nightmare Beast - Ring Mantis, Nightmare Beast - Sky Wizard
Name: Jared Ruben
Gender: Male
Age: 23
my_friend_cowboy_jared_by_hanafenton-d56
Personality: Whenever Jared speaks, it becomes clear that he has a thick Australian accent; strong enough to imply that he was born in the Outback somewhere. Therefore, it's naturally not easy to understand what it is he's saying... well, unless one can lip read, that is. A major flaw with Jared's personality is his lack of willpower, which explains why he's allied himself with the Orichalcos Cult even though he has no interest in aiding these cultists in pursuing their goals. Despite being a professional duelist, he's not entirely confident of his dueling skills, certainly not enough to gamble with his soul. He refuses to play The Seal of Orichalcos for this reason, as he's all too familiar with Murphy's Law, which states anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Inspired by a legendary duel between his grandfather, Terrance Ruben, and a tycoon who wanted to buy out and completely overrun his birth-town in Australia, Jared honed his skills as a professional duelist, running a multitude of different deck types, ranging from Lavals, Crystal Beasts, a high Level swarm deck, Zombies, Dark Worlds, Koa'ki Meirus, the whole nine yards. However, none of the Decks he had run had managed to get him very far, only winning small prizes at tournaments, and only on the best of days. The best prize that Jared did get was at 10th place in a tournament in Detroit, with his high Level swarm deck. He managed to summon Rocket Arrow Express right on the first turn at the time, temporarily throwing off his opponent. But the Inzektor Deck that she ran was too powerful once everything had fallen into place, and although it was a close duel, Jared was still defeated in the end of the day within the 5th turn. Luckily, he won a large enough cash prize to get a flight back to Australia, get by for about 3 months or so and fly back to Detroit. While briefly staying back in his home town, Jared had finally decided to see if he could get a working copy of Terrance's deck, which was used to defeat the money hungry tycoon who attempted to buy out the town.
Deck: After running so many Deck types, Jared has finally decided to run a completely different Archtype, which his grandfather had made into cards by Industrial Illusions. This Archtype, the Westborns, have a rather versatile array of effects, while the Spell and Trap Cards that support the Westborns benefit from having cards from either player being banished. However, some of the Westborns themselves have a similar maintenance cost to the Lightsworns, except while Jared doesn't have to mill as many cards at a time with each Westborn monster, the cards he does end up milling are banished rather than sent to the Graveyard.
Favourite Cards: Ifrit, Westborn Demon, Lestrange, Westborn Wrangler, Conquistadore, Westborn Sheriff, Moravia, Westborn Artillery, Dorado, Westborn Duelist, Ques-Rio, Westborn Stallion
Name: Kori Wantanabe
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Kori is a rather skinny kid with tanned skin with an average height of 5 feet 7 inches. He has long, straight, blue hair and square framed glasses. His outfit consists of a blue blazer with a white inner shirt, black denim jeans and black sneakers. His duel disk appears like a blue colored version of the standard Battle City duel disk when outside of the Orichalcos Cult. When he duels for the Orichalcos Cult, the duel disk is colored black with dark red lining. He also wears a belt containing his deck box and an Orichalcos shard.
Personality: Kori can be seen as a rather collective person, managing to keep his cool in most dire situations. His attitude towards the Orichalcos Cult is that he considers it a group that needs to be taken down, even thought he can't do it because of his fear for the leader, showing little to no loyalty towards it. Outside of the cult, he gives off the impression of bein the 'caring' figure to few and even gives the 'odd' vibe to others, but either way, he still gives a polite visage to the people he knows.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Kori, like most duelists had dreams of going to the pro league and be the top duelist in the world. He was an aspiring one too, winning simple competitions and some tournaments. He was then scouted by a man who claimed to be part of the Pro League. The problem was, it was an underground duel at the cost of whoever loses, the winner gets their deck. Unfortunantly, after trying so hard to win, Kori ultimately lost and relinquished his deck. After days of suffering withdrawl from dueling, he went back to the alley to get his deck back. When he got there, he noticed a person with his deck in their hand. The person gave it back but a dark voice came from the person ominously saying 'I did you a favor, now you have no choice in doing one for me.' he was given a strange shard and a card with weird, yet ominous design on it. Unfortunante for him, he has no choice but to accept his deal, no matter how much he felt uneasy about it.
Deck: Kori's deck is at first glance is one consisting of weak Fairy-Type monsters, but in fact it also gives Kori access to high level Fairies such as Archlord Kristya and Arcana Force EX- The Dark Ruler. Though weak, his deck consists of monster to suvive some battles until his plan goes into action, by playing cards like Acarna Force 0- The Fool and Winged Kuriboh. Though the strategy is basically 'make the low level survive, and Special Summon a game changer', if one part of it is destroyed, the plan will instantly fail. The only back he has is his notable 'ace card' Metaion the Timelord on hopes of giving the field a complete ceasefire.
Favorite Cards: Court of Justice, Arcana Force 0- The Fool, Archlord Kristya, Metaion the Timelord
Name: Viktor Dragovic
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Appearance: It was a long time since Viktor last showed his face, but those who still remember who he look claims that he have dark, blue eyes, a broken nose and a scar running over his mouth. Now, he usually covers the lower part of his face with a breathing-mask-like plate, and his eyes are covered by a pair of goggles with red glasses. His hair is short, slicked back and black, but are starting to go gray at the temples, and there's a single white line going across the hair near the middle. He wears a red, sleeveless coat with yellow trim, with a shoulder plate on his left shoulder. On his left arm he wears armor of the same color as his coat, but it is rumored that there's no actual arm left under the armor. He wears a pair of baggy pants, which are black. His left leg, not much unlike his left arm, seem to be half-mechanical, with additional armor of the same color of his coat. The most remarkable feature of Viktor's body, however, is the mechanical, skeleton-like arm placed on the shoulder pad on his left shoulder. This arm is fully functional and Viktor refers to it as his assistant.
Personality: Viktor is a madman, and worse is that he is probably one of the most intelligent people on Earth. Nobody likes an overly intelligent madman, especially not the kind of madman that wants to turn the entire human race into "synthetically enhanced beings". Viktor believes that the only hope that the human race have to survive is to throw away our mortal shells and become immortal machines, and he has made it his goal in life to save the human race through this method, and thus become the savior and sole ruler of manki- I mean machinekind. He is ruthless, but yet cunning and patient, and he won't let anyone stand in his way. Not that anyone can...
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: Viktor was born in a small village in the Siberian mountains, where he spent his childhood building clocks, a trade tought to him by his father. However, he soon started building bigger things, and his genius soon became famous all over Russia. With the money the fame brought, he and his family moved to Moscow, where Viktor's scientific career really started. He went to a university (not that it was needed) and left with perfect grades. He then proceeded to create more machines, but the world soon grew tired of him, and said that he would have to come with something new if he wanted to continue.
This made Viktor upset, but one night when he looked at an old clock his father gave to him he realized something. The clock was over 200 years old, but it was still working. He now knew what his life's purpose was; to remove the expiration date of human lives. Unfortunately, no one wanted to fund his project, and finding willing test subjects proved harder than expected, so Viktor started by robbing a bank and then tested his methods on himself. He now resides in a small laboratory somewhere in the Russian mountains, where a certain card has found it's way into his life...
Deck: Viktor plays a deck that revolves around either augmenting his own monsters with spells and Union-monsters and also stealing the opponents monsters and do the same to them. Most of the monsters in his deck are Machine-type, but there are also some Dragons and Warriors in there.
Favorite Cards: Dark Cyber Dragon, Machinarium Arcana, Super Polymerization
Name: Alexander Rosencrantz Blackwood
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance:
prince68.jpg
Personality: Alexander is very caring, to the point that he will go out of his way to help people...Well, that is, if he isn't too nervous or shy to do so. Alexander has an irrational fear of disappointing or upsetting all of those around him, and as such, he often freezes up and doesn't do anything when someone asks him his opinion on something or when he tries to do something for someone else. He also has difficulty saying "No," and as such is often just kind of "roped into things." However, he says that doing what others want makes him happy, so he never tries to resist.
Also, Alexander has a sort of "dark side"; due to all of the emotional scarring from his childhood, he is very emotionally unstable, and if he bottles up his depression and anger for too long, he will enter a sort of state that can be best described as "shattered." While in this shattered state of mind, he becomes apathetic and uncaring towards all things around him, the exact opposite of his normal demeanor.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio:
Alexander had a very troubling past...When he was three years old, his parents were murdered in front of his very eyes, and his house was set ablaze. He was taken in by a seemingly kind married couple, but after a while, one could see that Alexander was more their slave than their adopted son; he was forced to do all of the work around the house, he was beaten when he did not live up to expectations or didn't do a job right, and he was hardly fed. However, he went along with it, because it was all he knew. When Child Protective Services found out about what was going on in Alexander's home, he was sent to a boarding school in Detroit. It was there that he came across a fragment of the Orichalcos Comet, and it imbued in him a new power...The power to choose his own destiny, the power to direct the course of his own life. He joined the Orichalcos Cult as a way to find closure in life, and become happy. However, he doesn't know about the cult's true intentions, as he does not associate with other members regularly. Instead, he merely thinks that it is an organization of like-minded people who wish to take their lives into their own hands and change the world for the better.

Alexander picked up Dueling when he was younger, as a way of coping with his foster parents' abusive nature. At first, he had trouble winning, as his deck was merely a mish-mash of cards that he got out of packs. However, on the day that he found his fragment of the Orichalcos comet, he found a deck alongside it, in the same crater. The deck contained cards known as "Draconites", which were unheard of before he discovered them. However, something interesting happened one day...When he was dueling, his emotions got the better of him, and he entered the "shattered" state, and his deck changed to the "Gimmick Puppet" archetype, perhaps reacting to his feelings of emptiness and sub-humanity. However, as soon as he came to his senses, his deck returned to normal.
Deck: Alexander uses two different decks—One for "standard" duels, when he's his normal self, and one for duels in his "shattered" state.
Draconite — A deck based around using "Draconite" monsters' effects to Summon more powerful "Draconite" monsters and activate their latent effects. (Standard)
Gimmick Puppet— A deck focused around summoning higher-level monsters quickly to Xyz Summon the deadly "Gimmick Puppet" Xyz monsters. (Shattered)
Favorite Cards: Draconite — Zettablaze Draconite Emperor M ☆ X, Exablaze Draconite ☆EV, Petablaze Draconite ☆
Gimmick Puppet — Number 88: Gimmick Puppet - Destiny Leo; Gimmick_Puppet_-_Nightmare_Homunculus; Gimmick_Puppet_-_Deus_Machina
Name: Carla Bellerose
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Carla.png
Personality: Carla has the traits of your typical Femme Fatale; coquettish, seductive, manipulative, and certainly not above using her feminine wiles to charm her targets and get what she desires. However, she finds that she is no longer capable of experiencing any romantic feelings, though she doesn't mind, for she hasn't the time or energy to waste on something so trivial as love. At least, not anymore. Half of the time, if not most of it, her flirtatious ways are merely a facade; in her heart lies strong feelings of resentment, malice, and heartbreak, traits that are intensified when using the Seal of Orichalcos. She may act like a friend, but she can just as easily break your heart or stab you in the back... quite literally, too, if given the chance.
Faction: Orichalcos Cult
Bio: "Me? You want to know about me? Hmm... okay, I guess I can spare you a bit of my time."
"You see, a couple years ago, I met this really swell guy: charming, a real looker... he really made me fall for him, you know. I honestly felt that I could spend the rest of my life with him. ... boy, was I sadly mistaken. 4 months ago, he left me to be with another woman, and... well, you should be smart enough to know how I felt about this."
"For days I contemplated on what would be the best way to get back at him; poisoning, gunshot, vehicular homicide... hell I even considered chopping off his "Eggs Benedict"... okay, I'll admit, that was the most corniest thing I will ever say, but I digress. Anyways, as luck would have it, I would walk in on a Duel where one of the guys had played this Field Spell that supposedly sucked the soul out of the loser. I had to admit, I was a little scared at first, but then I figured, "this is the answer I was looking for!" The Duel shortly ended after I had arrived (the one who had played the card lost), and, out of curiosity, I took the card in question, "The Seal of Orichalcos". It was then that another person, supposedly from the same group, approached me, inquiring about what I was doing. I asked about the card, and he agreed to take me to his group. I was introduced to some... lizard-lookin' chick, who welcomed me into their cult. I didn't mind it; I was mainly there for one thing...."
"Eventually, I confronted my would-be fiance and his tramp... which was when I finally found out that it was I that was the "Other Woman"; the guy got with me because of his own insecurities with his girlfriend, but had dumped me because, as he put it, it took being with me to realize what he was going to lose with her. Typical answer... but in the end, I wasn't even that mad. Not even when I took both of their souls."
"You know, I had only originally joined the cult to get back at my lover, but after that Duel... I began to get a bit of a thrill out of it. Having that kind of control, seeing the hopeless look on my victim's face before being reduced to a ragdoll on the floor... gets a girl feeling really... tingly~"
"... wait, what do you mean, "Keep it PG-13"? Can't a girl say what's on her mind? Sheesh...."
Deck: Starts off with a Bondage-themed deck based around restricting her opponent's movements and inflicting high amounts of damage, but later on switches to a "Loveless" Archetype which reflects the darkness in her heart. (hopefully this will give me enough time to build up on the archetype enough to be useable)
Favorite Cards: Mostly associates herself with female monsters.

I'll admit I liked the concept of DMV slightly better but the Dartz saga of yugioh had some of my favorite lines in it and you do know what you are doing with these things so I don't know if I still have to reserve or not but here is an app

If so I reserve lol
Name: Lucas Matthews
Gender: Male
Age: 62

Appearance:
Lucas is the typical average height of 5'11 and retains a very slim build with a nice dark brown skin complexion. His conservative nature has allowed him to accept every aspect of aging gracefully therefore he retain a a full head of gray hair that is always styled, gelled, and cut similar to the to ways of the ad-men in the 1960's. His skim is full of intense wrinkles such as the onset of crows feet and and the variety of wrinkles in his cheek bones and along his forehead. Because of his occupation his fingernails always got dirty so he would always make severe effort to have his nails and hands manicured if at all possible complementing his look of the perfect gentlemen. The typical gentlemen who always wears a three piece suits. He is the epitome of conservative with his monocle he never tends to wear anything that would resemble casual wear. In terms of dueling since he is new to the sport/game was able to find a fashionable tote/messenger back for which he stores his duel disk and deck.

Bio:Lucas is an archaeologist by trade or was one.

@Beginning: The Appearance paragraph is too short, and you really don't need to highlight the name in every spot. Just the initial Name slot. Also, I would like a link to your custom cards, so, for now, Not Accepted.
@Obelisk & Cherry: Reserved.
@All: We do need a leader of this cult. Just FYI.

And done, didn't take as long as I thought it would (I have far too much free time lately ><)

Name: Idris Kentaturo
Gender: Female
Age: 18

Faction: Duellist

@Kingdom: Regardless of Final Fan's opinion, Rinne and myself highly frown on clone applications. There's a certain degree of leniency we'll allow with broad concepts being pulled from apps where the RP never really took off, but we'll most definitely intervene if we see you applying as the exact same character multiple times.

Also Final Fan, to clear it up, are you actually planning on making people write out their descriptions? The way you have it written implies that a paragraph of description is necessary, with a picture supplementing it. That's fine, but you've accepted at least one person so far with just a picture; if you don't intend to enforce the rule, you should amend it.
If forced into proximity to others other, he is courteous, reasonably polite, though perhaps a bit malicious in his sense of humour. He likes to emotionally distance himself from others, and as such it's very difficult to tell his emotions from and outward glance; he doesn't enjoy opening up to others very much, and he's more likely to try and laugh something off as a defence mechanism than retaliate in public.
Each monster supports eachother through Normal Summons, and they gain strength while in large numbers, though weaken if their numbers are brought down.
Favorite Cards: Blade Wolf - Ace Hunter, Wind Wolf - Ace Hunter, Apex Wolf - Lorde Rapier, Shadow Wolf - Falchion

Being in a relatively low-income area and shuffled between a number of apathetic foster homes, the kids quickly became very close to eachother, forming commitments to help eachother even if nobody else could.
He practised and improved his deck, and eventually became pretty good, if rather short of Rin herself.
